This is my favorite Starbucks on the East Coast! Natalie, Jimy, Mary and Justin are awesome (just to name a few. My drinks are always consistent and the staff here (especially the ones I just named) are fast and friendly. I just moved here from Seattle and my commute stretches from VA to Baltimore, so I spent some time searching for 'my Starbucks' and this place is definitely it. I have wasted so much money on this location. The only reason I would even return to this one is if I didn't have time to go to another one. Their fraps are always watered down and nothing tastes right. I've been to many of starbuck's so I have a good understand of how it should taste. I've never ONCE enjoyed my drink from this location. The staff is ok but obviously can't make drinks. I much rather run into giant and go to their Starbucks cause this one is just pathetic. Skip it and go somewhere else. read more

Horrible customer service! I was there with a friend and they forgot his sandwich but charged him for it, the girl didn't seem like she was interested in what I wanted and completely messed up my order. I was very specific when ordering and she tried to get me to order something else and when I got my drink...it was all syrup! I'm an avid Starbucks drinker and I can honestly say that I was completely disappointed and thank goodness I don't have to keep coming her. This is by far the best Starbucks I have ever been to in my life. The entire staff is extremely friendly and the barista Jimy gives the best customer service of any worker I have ever seen. He's gone out of his way a multitude of times to appease his guests and portrays an excellent model of an all star worker. They're so sweet I had to write a review ! Came in for 4 cups of regular coffee and I guess because they were out of coffee and were brewing more they gave me my order for free im assuming for the wait time even though it was but a few minutes. I continue to enjoy this Starbucks because they are consistent. Whether it's making my drink perfect, or always communicating with me (since I am a regular costumer); they are on point. However they always do seem to communicate to every costumer has if they stop by every day. They also are very quick with your orders and try to get them to you as quick as possible. read more

Contaminated food and manager doesn't care. This morning an order was made for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Normally there are bags with a pouch so that butter and cream cheese is separated from the food as not to contaminate it. Instead the manage this morning March 17th says she has only bags with no pouches and that how it is. Well let us see what the Food Safety authorities of Fairfax County has to say upon an inspection tomorrow about if that is how it is or will your store be fined or even shut down. I have went to this Starbucks about 9 times and 7 out of 9 time they have disappointed me. One time I wanted this drink and they said they were all out of milk so I order another drink. When I got that drink the person behind me went to order and she asked for the same thing I did and they said right away. Nice and clean, except when they get busy which they do on Friday and Saturday afternoons and early evenings. Crowds from theater I suspect. Staff is professional and friendly. Knows regular customers by names and remembers their drinks. Seating inside has plenty of plugs for laptops. Manager Veronica is superb ;-). Come for the coffee leave with COVID. This morning I ordered two coffees through the mobile app while in Giant. The estimated time to pick up was 7 minutes. When I came out of Giant there were 12-15 people standing almost shoulder to shoulder in a semi circle. When I asked if this was the line I was informed that it was for mobile orders but to go in and check if my order was ready. When I went in there were orders strewn about a table with alphabet ranges written on thetable. I asked the man behind the counter if my order was ready as all the labels were facing him and I didn't want to touch someone else's cup. He said he was not sure and began picking up cups with his ungloved palm on the lid. My order was not ready despite it now being 15 minutes after I ordered. I chose to go back outside as inside there were people waiting for their coffee literally two deep shoulder to shoulder. While outside I watched the gentleman behind the counter touch his mask and face at least 6 times that I counted. He would then pick up cups by the lid palm down and read off names. After another 20 minutes (having now waited close to 40 from when I ordered) I realized the coffee was not worth the time or wait nor possibly risking infection in what was a perfect environment to spread not just COVID but god knows what else. I will never go back to this location and recommend nobody else does either. read more

My favorite Starbucks! I visit here every week day. I know my drink is going to be perfect when Mary is my Barista.

The service here is SOOOOO slow. Both times I've been, the big guy behind the counter was so busy gossiping to a co-worker or friend standing on the other side of the counter. All while a line of people stood waiting to place their order. He didn't acknowledge anyone until he was done chatting. During my last visit I stood there for a good 10 minutes waiting to place my order and there was only one person in front of me who had already placed their order which turned out to be a latte. ??? read more

I go here at least 4-5 times a week. They are great at getting the order right, but not as friendly as they once were. A very busy location and staff knows you by name, but mostly you are rushed in and out, so you better have your order and pay ready or you'll get serious eye rolls from customers and staff. read more

Mary is the best Starbucks barista I've encountered. This morning was no different. I know that I'll always get a consistently great latte whenever she's behind the counter. She mixes the perfect amount of espresso, milk, and syrup- others can sometimes make the latte too sweet, too watered down, or lack enough coffee that you barely taste it. It is also hot enough and not scalding. I wish I can beam her up at every Starbucks I visit. She should be a barista trainer at the national level to say the least. I wish she would just move across the Starbucks where I live because those guys are a hit or miss. When you pay over $4 for a grande, you want great quality and not get frustrated by the inconsistency (unfortunately several Starbucks are like that). A couple days ago I went to Starbucks, and the service provided was great! I ordered a Frappe that was perfectly set and ready and I didn't have to wait in the line for too long either. My kids really enjoy going there too. Definitely gonna consider going there again! read more
