The Misha's Coffee down by the water has some great balcony space to sip your coffee on a warm day. The downside is this place can become very crowded and chaotic in a small space. The coffees were fine. Staff were pleasant and the coffee arrived quickly.

Happy little place. Coffee was not as fresh if I hoped for. I come back and give it another try. Happy vibe. Patio on roof top.

This place popped out at me because it shares the name with my sweet tabby cat I lost last year. The cafe has a beautiful location near the water, and the rooftop seating gave a nice view of the park. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a hot or iced beverage. I had a London Fog Latte with oatmilk and really enjoyed it. They also had a delicious apple strudel, which was a nice vegan treat. The staff was nice and asked questions to make sure they got your order right. It was clean inside and out, I really enjoyed spending a little bit of my morning here.

I went to this coffee shop while I was down south visiting friends. They said that it was a popular shop loved by many. I got a tea latte while here and it didn't disappoint. My friend got a lemonade and said it was great too. It was a cute shop and the girl who helped me was so nice and helpful. The shop itself was very cute too. It was def worth checking out!

Stopped by Misha's and tried what I believe was the pecan sticky bun (we're calling it that ). It was really good, soft and flavorful. I do wish they had offered to warm it up because I think that would've taken it to the next level. I didn't think to ask until I sat down, but I feel like that small touch would've made a great treat even better. I also had the lavender fog latte and wow... 10/10. Smooth, floral, just the right amount of sweet. I was so inspired I'm now on a mission to recreate it at home! I sat upstairs by the window next to the rooftop, and the vibe was perfect! It was quiet, chill, and great for working. I got some business planning done and enjoyed the cozy setup. Only downside? The AC was directly on my back where I was sitting, though it may be a plus for some haha. There's only one bathroom stall, so a bit of a line forms when it gets busy. Overall, I'd give it a 4/5. Great drinks, good food, solid atmosphere. Definitely planning to return! I want to try the strong espresso that everyone raves about!

It's always a bumber when coffee shops don't have mugs and unfortunately the coffee itself was just okay. I don't know if it's just in my mind but I think the plastic doesn't help the taste either. That being said, there is some great patio seating on the second floor and the staff seems pretty friendly. The wood design with big windows makes it feel warm and cozy as well.

Cute coffee spot for whatever your vibe is. If seeking a place to work, might be best to go upstairs where there the space is smaller and a bit quieter. As I was here in the winter, I didn't get to enjoy the rooftop space, but I hear it's a great area in the warmer weather and provides a nice water view.

Misha's Coffee was a great experience! I had a coffee and an apple pastry. The staff was kind and the roof top seating over looked some amazing scenery. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend.

Despite the lack of reviews, this coffee shop is packed. I guess people know about the awesome 2nd floor patio with waterfront views. Great way to relax with a cup of coffee. I got their Staff Recommendation of the Week: Cinnamon Hazelnut Latte, which I got a 20oz ($6.15) w Half & Half (+$0.80). It is on the pricey side for sure, maybe even more than Starbucks, but it sure is tasty.

I tell you BEST LATTE EVER! Special blend used in the espresso adds unique body & quality flavor TOO GOOD!

For me, their limoncello french toast, turkey side, and roasted rosemary potatoes were standouts. --- HomeGrown does breakfast right. They have community partners which supply their goods, and boy did you taste the difference. The food was awesome, exactly what you crave when you want a good breakfast. We ordered the (1) limoncello french toast, (2) BYOB (Build your own breakfast), and (3) HomeGrown coffee cake: -Limoncello french toast: Densely cakey and mochi-like consistency made the french toast a standout to me. It wasn't too sweet, and the vanilla bean creme anglaise sauce was perfectly balanced by the tartness of the lemon curd. The eggs and ham I ordered on the side were pretty standard. - BYOB: The rosemary potatoes and turkey side were AWESOME! I am not a crispy potato person, so I was happy with the softer texture of these potatoes (but my friend didn't like them as much as I did). The turkey was juicy and very flavorful, and an unexpected surprise. The eggs and English muffins were pretty standard. -HomeGrown coffee cake: For $6.5, we were happy with the size of the slice. It a tiny bit too sweet for me with the caramel sauce, but the cake was moist on its own. We felt like we needed 3 people to comfortably eat this size portion. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. We were really happy with our server, the cleanliness of the restaurant (and even the bathroom!), and the ambiance. It was very cute and well-decorated, and I can see it being a great spot for many occasions. It wasn't too loud despite it being pretty full. Overall, I'd recommend HomeGrown if you want a breakfast that won't disappoint. The turkey and rosemary potatoes were my favorite, but I really enjoyed all of the food. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, whoever the individual was on shift today was just a total piss poor person - she seemed to have an issue with our party, as she automatically assumed we just came there to 'squat' without ordering anything (if you have been to this place before, there isn't much seating and this isn't where you'd want to sit for a bit anyway); when I called her out and stated that I already knew our party's orders, she backtracked. She then continued to make a snide comment on the number of drinks we were ordering - what's with the passive aggressiveness? I didn't know that there was some rule that each person was required to order something. Like, are you okay? I just had a bad feeling about all of this, and we should have just walked out instead of giving our money to support this business - to add to it all, the coffees that we did receive (latte with soy milk, and the mocha) were just poorly made and not strong at all; they were both watered down and bitter at the same time... come on! UGH, the regret, but it was a choice. Shame on you, Via Volcán! You might want to heavily reconsider who you employ and train them better - this individual is really hurting your business! Since then though, I've been back a couple of times and the service has been on the standout side (I wish I could recall my most recent server's name to give him a shoutout -- next time!). So hoping that part is there to stay! Aside from the recent service, I like the ambiance upstairs -- exposed brick is always a win, and they've done a great job fitting in as much seating as possible in a fairly tight space. The menu is great too, with lots of appealing options -- many of which (like plantain chips and pupusas) are otherwise hard to find in Old Town. (I tried the plantain chips last time btw and enjoyed them.) It's really nice to have a Latin-inspired coffee shop nearby, and even cooler that they serve not just coffee but also food and wine. That said, here are a couple watchouts: - While the space is definitely cute and cozy, the downside is that it is smaaaall. Especially upstairs, tables fill up fast. It's always a toss-up whether there will be one available if I want to go. - They have a laptop policy that restricts laptop use to 2 hours tops (though I'm not sure if/how they actually enforce it). On the one hand, I absolutely love how intentional the policy is; particularly in such a small space, a row full of laptops could definitely kill the vibe so wanting to preserve that balance between productivity and leisure seems totally fair and actually good. On the other hand, I have to admit it does deter me from going there vs. another coffee shop at times when I'm not sure I can wrap up what I have to do in under 2 hours. This is especially true if I know I'm planning to eat. - The Mayan hot chocolate is basically hot chocolate/cocoa that is made from Guatemalan chocolate, rather than the kind of Mayan hot chocolate that has a kick to it. This may not be a biggie but I was definitely thrown off and disappointed when I first ordered it expecting the latter, so you've been forewarned! Overall it's a cute spot and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. Though it's not someplace I'd call my go-to, I'll no doubt be back and will keep giving it more chances now that that first bad service experience has been overwritten a bit in my head.
