They put it in a carrier and placed it in a Starbucks bag and put a sticker on the drink opening. I really appreciate the amount of care that was taken to keep it safe from others from drinking it. Recently remodeled and looking great. My go-to Starbucks based on location. Pretty well stocked - usually am able to get what I want, including the special/seasonal stuff! Be aware that this Starbucks is always busy, so just plan accordingly! It's conveniently located right off 94 and in the midst of a busy shopping area. Drive-thru and walk-in options. Stopped by here yesterday for a cup of coffee with my sister. This location has a nice dining area, so presumably it's meant to be an actual cafe. We ordered 2 simple coffees and waited...for 25 minutes. Finally I went back up to the cashier, only to be told that it would be another 20 minutes; they do not prioritize in-person customers. Despite being surrounded by coffee equipment, she could not actually serve 2 cups of Starbucks in less than 45 minutes. Another customer came up behind me to commiserate -- she had also been waiting for 25 minutes and was told she would get her coffee...in 17 minutes. I asked for a refund and left. A coffee shop should produce coffee for in-person customers in, say, under 10 minutes? Or at least inform them that their order will take 45 minutes? read more

9.5 out of 10 orders I get at any Starbucks is black coffee. To be specific, I only get blonde roast. Lot of times, I'll leave with pike because whomever brewed the coffee either used the wrong beans and/or placed the carafe in the wrong location. Thankfully, this doesn't happen often, but I only realize it after I'm already on the road. As far as this location, it has gotten worse with staff changes. The operation needs to be reviewed as the "flow" is not there any more. They need a strong leadership to guide everyone to ensure smooth flow, but that's missing now. Recently I ordered a Lotte via the app - nothing special, venti, add a xtra shot and the app said it'd be ready in 20 minutes. I got there 5 minutes early hoping it'd be ready. Nope, not ready, I get it... waited until the time the app said it'd be ready, nope. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes after the promise time and I wasn't the only person waiting. The drive thru line was kinda long but moved through at a good pace. I had to walk by to get to my car so I went inside. I completely forgot to tell the person at the register that I needed almond milk but luckily that wasn't a problem. Normally I wouldn't have wanted them to waste the beverage but I have a large dairy intolerance especially with milk products so I tend to avoid all milk. Thank you for this as it makes me think they care about customers. It looks like a good place to do work or homework. Many customers had laptops if some kind. The drive through can be long and annoying (someone once honked at me multiple times despite there being nowhere to go) but the baristas are always friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be that there should be a designated pick up spot to just pick up and go like at other locations. When I arrived my drink was behind the counter so I had to wait to get someone's attention and ask if my drink was ready. I have given this Starbucks on Ann Arbor- Saline Rd. three visits to allocate the correct amount of refresher base for venti mango dragonfruit or strawberry açaí. They are CLEARLY skimping on the amount. I've called them on it and they LIE. Last time I went, there was enough employees and my food was made on time. Me, only 14, went in there to grab my moms drinks and heard another customer complaining about getting their drinks. I waited an extra 10 minutes for when I ordered it. The drive through was out into the road and it was hard to pull into. My moms drink wasn't filled up all the way and she ordered a venti. "It was a bigger cup but we made you a venti" was what the lady said. Mine was ok, watered down though. Customer service was not very kind and almost rude. New store, under 2 years old, sandwiched in with the other new strip-mall offerings in front of Meijer on Ann Arbor Saline. They have a drive-thru but you better be brave, not drive a truck, and only when there isn't a line, because it's a tight drive with a short distance to block the road. The parking lot is tiny, but you can also park in the ample space between the store front and Meijer. The interior is small and a lot busier than I thought it would be. I sat in the parking lot and placed my mobile order. Waited a few then walked in and was out about the same time as the car ahead of me was exiting the drive through. The app saves hassle but not time. I prefer the mobile order, as I can customize my order without being under the gun with a barista. This location is fine for in and out - but not the most convenient to visit. read more

Horrible customer service here! I have been multiple times and it's always the same. Walk in and no one greets you. Stand there for 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Today was the final straw. I ordered a food item, and watch the barista take one from the case! No telling how long it had sat there. I had to request a fresh item. I have been to other Starbucks and if they are out of an item, they will ask if you want the one from the case or a refund. They had fresh ones, she just pulled one from the case! This afternoon I had a truly awesome customer service experience. Ashley remembered me from my previous orders and greeted me so warmly by name through the drive-thru. You can't image how a small gesture can make someone feel appreciated. I handed my phone to pay for my latte and dropped it underneath my car! There was a long line and I panicked because moving my vehicle would mean the death of my phone!! I freaked out! Immediately, the shift manager Scott rushed outside calmed me down and the long line of caffeine deprived drivers waiting behind me. Then, preceded to crawl underneath my car and retrieved my phone. Today I was Finally able to find a Starbucks open! My drink, a venti iced white chocolate mocha, with soy milk, an extra shot of espresso is the way to start off a day. Super yummy, but not too sweet, I prefer my coffee cold. I tried two other stores and they were closed due to employee covid illness. I'm so happy this business closed down to decontaminate the place. I hope any and all employees will recover quickly and get back to normal health soon. (I also posted a full review under Starbucks carpenter rd). I was also able to order a grilled cheese. The taste is pretty good, but it only gets toasted on one side. Hubby got oatmeal. It comes with brown sugar, bag of mixed fruits (cranberries, and raisins of different types) you can also get blueberries. if you want. Nuts are also included. Taste is pretty good after you "doctor" it all up! For a coffee, grilled cheese, and oatmeal, it was almost 20.00. Starbucks is def not Cheap, but I collect stars on my app for free items. So, that's a good trade off. Make sure you double check to see if Starbucks is open before you leave. read more

The attractive brick exterior sported the familiar green logo and the interior was agreeably typical for the Starbucks chain. The service was friendly and efficient when I visited and the dark roast pour-over was as good as ever. The price of my coffee was typical for the Starbucks locations in the area at just under $2 USD for a tall size. If you are in the area and need a java, this is a very good bet. read more

I visit this location some mornings and usually don't care to write a review. This morning I had a wonderful experience in your drive through. I spoke with 2 great employees- one who took my order and one who greeted me at the first drive through window. I am so upset you don't carry the mango tea anymore but Christina recommended a replacement. It's my new go to drink! Olivia greeted me at the window and I've never met such a pleasant employee at this location, and I'm being serious. (I've also encountered some very unpleasant ones.) It often does have a long line, but that isn't the baristas's fault and they work very quickly! I really tried to give this Starbucks a shot but it consistently gets my orders wrong. I've gone through the drive through - wrong. Ordered inside - wrong. And I'm ordering their standard drinks. There isn't a lot of room inside and the tables / chairs are really packed in, so I wouldn't make this a place to stay a while. I've also stopped by at night, well before closing, and felt as if I was inconveniencing the employees who would much rather work on stocking, cleaning, or just not taking orders despite the fact that they are open. :-/ read more

Went through the drive thru and was told they were out of peach fruit - which has nothing yo do with the drink. got to work, and it tasted like water with a TON of sugar .... called and spoke to Greg who refused a refund and said we had to come in if we wanted something else ... Came in and was greeted with an attitude and after I asked for new ones , was told "the dragon fruit inclusions add no taste, just color and we told you that when you went through the drive thru." As someone who drinks this daily - it absolutely adds a different taste ... after he reluctantly took my receipt , he turned around to immediately start complaining to his coworker about me , loud enough that I could hear. Chrystal made the drinks , but couldn't be bothered to smile or say anything after I thanked her multiple times. As someone who has worked in customer service and patient care for years - this is not how you treat a paying customer. really disappointed in their lack of respect and attitudes. But between the Online and Drive through orders it took 17 minutes for me to get a plain ice tea. I wouldn't have minded the wait if I could have sat at one of the empty tables but they were all dirty. I felt bad asking them to wipe down a table when they were all working at light speed. This Starbucks for some reason always has bitter coffee but that's not as irritating as not being able to get the green stoppers. When I have a full cup in my cup holder and if for some reason I have to stop quick coffee spurts out of that hole . They have been out now for at least a month. It's also hard to give your coffee a stir . My coffee is bitter on the top and sugary sweet on the bottom because I can't swish it around! read more

I'm surprised that the reviews on this Starbucks are kind of so-so. It was totally fine as far as a Starbucks goes. I would say that because of bar seating they have in the middle of the store, this location boasts more than average seating. I was happy with the service I received both mornings when I stopped in. On the first morning, the woman who took my order asked if my breakfast sandwich was "for here or to go" and gave me a plate with my sandwich when it was "for here." Never had that happen before in a Starbucks ever. Fun! There was no repeat on this feature the following morning, which was unfortunate because it was a nice touch. One small issue I had on the second morning is that my breakfast sandwich was cold in the middle. I took it back up to the barista and she immediately took it back and made another one. The second one was burning hot for quite some time, but it was cooked through! I was pleased with how quickly the mistake was correct, nonetheless. Otherwise, this Starbucks was fairly typical. No clover, just as an FYI, but fine. read more
