Very bright and airy and extremely spacious. Plenty of seating and lots of greenery and solid wifi make it a great place to set up shop for a bit, which I did as I sat in on a few work calls during my visit. They have a smaller but curated menu, both of food and beverages, with a real focus on the beans and expertly prepared coffee/espresso. They don't have many syrups or flavors, setting it up to let their roasts shine. I do like my coffee a little sweet so opted for the honey in my iced latte and it was delicious. For bites they have a few items, including an egg scramble, egg sandwich, sourdough pancakes (which is garnering them quite a following!) and my choice, the "Good Salad" which was greens, warm roasted potatoes, and fresh dill topped with a hazelnut green garlic crunch. I added the optional soft boiled egg for a bit of protein and it was great! I wish they sold the hazelnut green garlic crunch because I would put it on EVERYTHING. They also have a few baked goods available and I definitely snatched up the last chocolate walnut cookie while I was there. I'm not sure if they warmed it up a bit for me or they just make a magical gooey cookie but the chocolate chunks were melty and so decadent. They had a few seasonal strawberry based items right now, including some ice cream and beverages. I meant to grab the latter on my way out but got distracted and forgot. Next time for sure! It might have taken me a minute to get here but it won't be a minute before I get back!

Her drink was great, very similar to Roos Roast and very enjoyable (I tried a sip). My drink was good quality but I didn't prefer the Ope milk because of the distinct nutty and roasted taste of the sunflower seeds. Because I am lactose intolerant and that is the only option, I don't think I would come back here for coffee. I could tell by the taste aside from the milk that the coffee was good quality and brewed with great attention to detail. As for flavors, Espy only had two flavor options on their menu which is unique and has its own pros and cons. I love that the seltzer water is on the house. I would love to try some food here next time I come. Amanda was our barista. They were incredibly kind and eccentric in the best way. They made us feel comfortable and helped us navigate the menu well. Hopefully I have them as a barista again :) The overall vibe of the cafe is amazing. The merch is very cute and as a ceramicist, I really appreciate the handmade mugs, plates, planters, and so on. The open layout was spacious and I genuinely enjoyed being in there. The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? Because they've replaced them with additional delicious offerings like local pastries (donuts from Washtenaw Dairy and other bakeries like Two Songs and vegan offerings from Botanical Bakeshop) and tasty offerings like breakfast offerings like breakfast burritos and bowls, bagels, etc (big fan of the farmer's bowl). Also their chicken salad sandwich is quite good, too! I am also a HUGE HUGE fan of their barrel aged nitro cold brew. Oh man it's so good and so unique! Highly recommend if you like a really complex coffee.

I'd say the seats at the tables maybe weren't the most comfy though, I do wish they had seat pillows. The drinks did take a while to come out, but it wasn't an issue for me since I was just working. Side note: they even provide feminine hygiene products in the restroom. They also have a printer available. There's a huge parking lot available. You can taste the freshness. They also rotate beans pretty often, which keeps things fresh and exciting. I've had a lot of great flavors there and I actually look forward to trying whatever they will have next. The Nickels Arcade location is great too. Small space, but it has a quiet old Ann Arbor feel that fits the coffee perfectly. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city.

The people working here were okay, but not overly friendly. My child wanted a coffee with mocha, cream, and sugar. They said they could do that with a cold brew. They handed over just coffee and mocha and did not tell us we needed to add our own creamer or sugar, then seemed surprised when I asked about the creamer and poured a bunch out. I knew they heard my order, because there were two people working and the first one recorded the order on the register. It tasted pretty good, it tasted like a nice dark chocolate, but due to high prices and many choices in the city, I am not sure I would visit again due to customer service alone.
