Awesome place! Very new and clean. I came here on a quiet Monday morning driving up to Santa Cruz. This atop was easy and convenient, the bathrooms were very clean and the lighting was great. I ordered the Butterfly Tropical Refresher, it came with mango popping boba. I really enjoyed the drink, the lemonade was sour and acidic but the boba made things balance out. The only downside was that they put a lot of ice putting less of the drink in. The drink was made pretty fast too. I recommend coming here just make sure you ask for light ice. read more

At the bottom of the "Grapevine" 5 freeway in the outlet mall is a Starbucks among many other choices to stop. I like this spot over others for the clean bathrooms and a pick me up coffee for the rest of the roadtrip. I took a photo of the counter area because everyone knows how long other places take to get coffee. You usually see everyone waiting. Not this Starbucks! They get you in and out quick! When you have to use the bathroom after driving through the grapevine, this is the place to stop at. Bathrooms are for customers only, so be prepared to purchase something. I planned on buying a drink or two and snacks for my little one anyway, so it was no problem for us. I received very friendly customer service during my stop here. The gentleman taking my order had a smile on his face the entire time. The ambiance is quite nice, with a modern decor and decent music playing. Review #536 2025-005 Drink Order: EMPEROR'S CLOUDS & MIST TEA aka "yun wu" or 雲霧 in Chinese (green tea cultivated at 3.5K & shrouded in ethereal clouds & mist) Trying to fix my numerical review order... replacing defunct Sub Club Italian Deli in Torrance that was removed. Not the best start for the new year, losing someone near & dear to me, so I traveled with my big brother to pay our respects, say farewell & wish her peace in her afterlife journey. I was getting stiff & groggy on the return trip, & B remembered a Starbucks just before we hit the Grapevine but didn't remember the exit. The app led us to Pieology & we see the Starbucks drive-thru signage; we parked & walked around (to stretch our achy back & legs) in the cold winds to the coffee shop. Brrr!! The coffee shop is attached to Pieology (east side) off the popular Wheeler Ridge rest stop. Since it's a weekday, not much foot traffic on a Tuesday late afternoon. Taking a quick restroom break before ordering; I noticed an unusual set-up & not sure if it's a good thing. There's 2 unisex restrooms with the sinks outside, which means the restroom handles are unsanitary because you're coming out with dirty hands touching the handle. Yuck! I used toilet paper to let myself out. Yes, the sink is right outside, but I've seen people walk out of restrooms with sinks on the inside (not here). The OCD in me doesn't accept this layout. I did like the sink station ingenuity of all-in-one soap, faucet, & hand dryer, though repairs might be challenging. I'm not a coffee drinker (can't stand the smell & taste); refer to Review #s: 16, 798). I had their Refreshers (meh) & Lemonades (moderately better), & tried a bagged tea because I needed some caffeine & something hot to warm my insides. The barista was friendly & helpful... I asked for a green or black tea, but don't understand their tea types so she brought the whole stand for me to select my flavor. Barely a minute & I got my tea, which is essentially adding hot water & throwing in a couple of bags, & waited for B's coffee order -- a latte of some sort. I forgot to ask them to fill it to the top & leave an inch to add some ice so I can actually drink it on the road. I didn't get to it -- yes, it's that hot -- until I was almost descending the Grapevine. It's not the same quality as my loose leaf teas, but for a bagged tea, this was pretty good. It has a tinge of bitter to the smoky, earthy taste with a subtle touch of sweetness in the finish. I'm thinking of searching for this in loose leaf form at my fav tea shops. The break was a quick for the restroom, & our tea & coffee order... 10-mins. & we were on the road. Thx Starbucks for the wake-me-up! Recommended: Emperor's Clouds & Mist Tea. read more

Whew! This is a busy Starbucks. I decided to try for East side of the 5 instead of the Starbucks on the west side by the TA rest area, thinking maybe this one would be less busy. It was not. Lol. While I stood in the lengthy line for the one bathroom that was working, I placed my one drink order on the mobile app and the app said it would be ready in about 20 min. Yup...20 min. To my surprise it was actually ready in 15 minutes. It was kind of cool to see the handwashing station outside of the bathroom and it's nice that it all was hands free. read more

Just a regular Starbucks and they're definitely busy all the time. They can take their time with your drink but they have a lot of orders. Fine prices. I wish they had more vegan options. They have almost no vegan food options. Inside, it did seem like you could hang out, but since the interior is packed outdoors does seem better. I think they had a table or two outside. read more

Really easy to mobile order ahead of time for this location and go in to pick it up as it can get quite busy. Although they are a large location with plenty of seating and parking in the large lot, it can still get incredibly crowded. The baristas are very welcoming and kind and they definitely keep this location clean and organized. My drink and food orders have always been accurate from here as well. Can't really ask for more! read more

If you're not ready to serve that number of people, why do you take orders? We've been waiting for 40 minutes for our order. Just for coffee!! Service is terrible and inattentive, they don't give you straws or cup holders unless you ask for it. They ignored us for 3 times and then silently gave 6 straws. Bring your patience. Came the Sunday after Thanksgiving and of course they are busy. Mobile orders take 20+ minutes and if you order in person the line is out the door. When we came only 5 people were working to manage mobile orders, walk-ins and a drive through. Seems understaffed for the highest travel day of the year. However, I will say the staff were busting their chops to pump things out. I hope the people receive a holiday bonus as they are helping people travel safely. read more

I let the guy there now I was waiting on 2 more drinks and he kind of brushed me off and said they'd be out shortly. I took my son to use the restroom and came back out they had just gotten started on them. Mind you this is 30 minutes after receiving the initial drinks. A nice pit stop on the other side of the Grapevine. They recently remodeled and extended the bar the full length of the lobby and took away places to sit except for outside. Probably a good idea to keep people from hanging out there and expanding the worker's space. Good bathrooms and hopefully it stays in good condition as time goes on. 4+ stars! read more

Out of the two starbucks in the Tejon area, this one is our favorite because it's usually less crowded. The interior is generally clean, but not spotless and sometimes the trash is overflowing. But it isn't usually gross or anything that would make me not come here. It's a good place to stop to grab your morning caffeine and a restroom stop before continuing on your way. Double check your drink before leaving, about 50% of the time our drinks are not made well or are wrong. read more
