I came on a lazy Sunday, so absolutely no crowd. Received quick service. IHOP was a nice change up from the usual fast food I get on these long I-5 drives, I.e. In N Out, Popeyes. Leaving a 5-star review because I was pleasantly surprised by how good their chicken sandwich was. Grilled chicken was very juicy, so the chicken juice mixed with the jalapeño juice and onions to create this "super juice"--which dripped out the back! A great example of a sandwich that's greater than the sum of its parts. I'll probably be back to this location. read more

I think by now anyone on Yelp knows what to expect when it comes to IHOP. So this review will focus more on the particulars of this location vs. the menu items and their quality... if you've been in one IHOP you've pretty much seen them all. My only real complaint about this location is the wait for a table, and I'm sure it's hard to plan for foot traffic in Lebec, most of the customers are likely travelling and you never know what convention or event is going to suddenly turn a lazy Friday morning into complete bedlam. That said, there was a 30 minute wait even though there were plenty of empty tables (just not enough wait staff). Once seated however, service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The more interesting aspect of this particular location is that it is located inside a Petro Shopping Center... so there's a lot to see while you wait, and you can get ice cream after you have finished your pancakes. There's a HUGE parking lot, so if you can't find parking, I don't recommend stopping! read more

We stopped at this IHOP in Lebec on our way to Yosemite with a group of eight because a few people were hungry and we wanted something quick and familiar. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. I tried to order "pigs in a blanket," which is a simple item I've ordered at other IHOP locations without any issue -- just sausage links wrapped in pancakes. Even after showing the waitress a photo, she had no idea what it was. She asked the cook, who also didn't know. Then they asked the manager -- still no solution. I understand menus can vary by location, but this was a very basic request using ingredients they already had. The confusion and unwillingness to accommodate something so simple was surprising. To make matters worse, someone in our group later realized she was charged $30 for what should have been a $13 meal, plus she left a $5 tip. That kind of billing error is concerning. We were told this location operates differently because it's attached to a gas station/truck stop and that not all IHOPs are the same -- but that doesn't explain the lack of menu knowledge or the overcharge. We stopped at this IHOP last weekend and were asked to wait to be seated even though it was nearly empty and a few waitresses just standing around. About 15 mins later we get seated (again, the place was empty so whats the hold up?) We get seated at a table by the kitchen and ordered our coffees. We got the coffees and after a 40min wait for the food we decide to ask the waitress to bring more coffee and ask how much longer for the food to arrive. She said she'd check. 5minutes passed and still no word from the waitress. We can hear the disarray in the kitchen and the cooks look confused as to what to cook. There were two or three plates of food sitting on a counter sitting there... Someone from my party saw another table just then getting their food and they were waiting before we had arrived! Those people must've waited an hour or more. We decided to leave and just pay for the coffees and soda we had. We got up from the table to pay at the front but they seemed to struggle w that so one waitress was courteous to not charge us at all. We decided to take a girls trip for a Sunday morning brunch and we were quite surprised to see it not crowded at all! Once we were sat and looked over the extensive menu we finally picked what we wanted. I hadn't been to an IHOP in quite a few years, so the menu was very different from what I remember. It has a closer resemblance to a Denny's menu now minus the skillets. Bridgette, our server was friendly, patient and helpful in getting everything we needed! She even made a cool drink for my daughter that was half decaf and half hot cocoa! She loved that! I was really pleasantly surprised by the Bacon Jam Eggs Benedict, the muffin was fresh, and the eggs cooked perfectly!! Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast, so I always want to try it if it's on the menu. The cinnamon apple pecan pancakes I thought might be overly sweet but once I tried them they were a perfect treat and not too sickly sweet for breakfast! New IHOP in the Tejon Ranch Outlets that opened around November of 2022., almost directed across from The TESLA Super Chargers. Great spot to stop when charging to rival the Denny's down the road. I love that you can order the "Split Decision" breakfast because I can never decide what I want, so I chose a bit of everything. Good service. Good food. I ordered the cali roasted turkey melt. It was tasty. The tomato juices give it a good flavor. I noticed that mine was missing the avacado. The waitress didn't mention anything about being out so I don't know why it was missing. But I'm sure the avacado would have made it even more delicious. Super disappointed. Hubby and I came for brunch. Both of our orders were wrong. Hubby's food took almost 20 minutes to replace. My oj was watery and basically undrinkable, so they replaced it and it was the same. The 2 waitresses working were very sweet, the only saving grace to the visit. They were very understaffed as well. On a holiday weekend only having a small shift doesn't make any sense to me. Tables sat dirty for the entire time we were there. The price vs quality and quantity is unreasonable as well. We came in here after a Basketball game in Frazier Park. We were immediately seated and drinks ordered and brought out extremely quick! 5 of us with special request for example I love Funny Face pancakes and wanted to substitute that in on my Meal and Irma made sure it was exactly what I wanted. Silly us for trying the ihop at the truck stop... upon walking in there was 2 tables with customers, I asked for a booth the First Lady says they are all dirty I said I would wait.. she half ass cleaned the table and then another waitress came and sat us at that table I immediately asked for napkins to finish cleaning the table off(waitress Brittany W never offered to clean it)I ordered the grilled chicken cowboy burger with fries my husband ordered the big steak omelet he didn't quite read the whole description but he told the waitress he didn't want the pancakes just hash browns and toast she said it would be extra for the toast both of us stunned said whatever he wants toast with his omelet .. we got our order Mine was a beef burger and cold fries sent it back and told her I want fresh fries and my husband asked where his hash browns where she said oh hold on I'll go get them ... he starts to eat and realizes the hashbrown was in the omelet as she is bringing out a side plate of hashbrown.. we said did the menu say the hashbrown was IN the omelet she said no... so a good 5 minutes go by I get mine the fries where cold they were the same fries so I said please bring me fresh fries she went to grab my plate I said no this time I'll hold on to it til I get fresh ones.. I pick up my chicken burger and the bottom run is soggy and the top was crispy so they reused my bun too that had beef on it... at this point I'm just so pissed I take off the bun finished by chicken and we go to check out... I grab a menu to see what it says about my husband omelet and it says pancakes toast or hashbrown and I read the description it doesn't say the hashbrowns are inside just hashbrown are in the description.. I asked the waitress Brittany W (stated on the receipt) if it had hashbrowns and obviously we didn't read totally but we knew it said hashbrowns and u said no and charged us for toast... she replies he said he wanted hashbrowns and toast u only get 1 and it's not my fault u didn't read In a very snarky attitude .. I said ur right but a good waitress would of said "did u know the hashbrown is inside the omelet, so not to have us order something we were already getting.. and we did ask u and u said no so you really need to learn ur menu too... she extremely snarky attitude told us to have a good day and walked away... at this point I'm so pissed I couldn't ask for a manager but after I calmed down I did try to call only got voicemail and I left one... let's see if they call me back. read more
