Love this location. They have great staff and have so many regular customers that I find it amazing they can remember my basic drink order.

I honestly DO like this Starbucks. It's in my hood, when I worked nearby, I was here at least once every workday, and most importantly, my BF and I used to hang out here on the patio in our early dating days. Ah yes...the patio. The reason for my 3 star review. (I was actually wavering between 3-4, just out of loyalty's sake.) Back in the Summer of our young love, we spent many a happy hour on this patio. The people watching is great, just an overall fun and relaxing experience. So, last week when we had a chance to go in together and grab a beverage and muffin, we were most excited to go back and sit at 'our table.' Give the patio some love, Starbucks! The tables and chairs were terribly scattered (and not just like patrons had gotten up from them...like they were just randomly tossed about.) We had to grab two chairs and pull them to our table. Trash everywhere on the ground....:sob: it was just sad. The reason why (I figured out) is that there was NO TRASHCAN out there....ummmm....WHAT?? So you have to go back inside to toss your trash (which we did) but really, an outdoor patio seating area should always have a trash can. That is really my whole rant, and maybe we just caught it at a bad time, but the patio used to be our fave thing about this place. Service is quick, baristas are friendly (and remember your order when you are a frequent customer. ) An outdoor garbage can and an every now and then check to the condition of the area would make this a 4-5 star review. read more

I love my neighborhood Starbucks. The baristas are top notch, and get to know you and your order. Always ready with my mobile order when I'm in a rush. I like the no drive-through, since all of the SBUX with drive through a feel rushed and busy. This one is relaxing and a great place to park for a while and work. The parking lot stinks, but it's also right next to a pretty decent lunchtime Mexican spot. Can't go wrong! read more

Friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. Fast service too, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my coffee. This is one of the better Starbucks locations in the city. I often come here to study and the atmosphere is decently conducive. The music is usually jazz/blues and is played at a not-too-loud volume.Also, if you get here in the evening, the place is full of UT students working on their assignments. It has all the usual drawbacks of Starbucks, with it being a soulless chain, having mediocre coffees, and terribly uncomfortable chairs. read more

Starbucks and Austin are mostly all alike and this location is no exception. Things to remember: - always spell your name to the nice person who will scold themselves to give you your mix. - smile. - have you cash or card ready when you get to the counter. - if your drink is popular be ready for some hunger games. - once the drink has been retrieved, please move to the side so I don't have to move around for my caffeine. Great service and great food and drink!!! The croissant was amazing and my Frappuccino was one of the better ones I've had. The brunette waitress gave great great great service and we had pleasant conversation but unfortunately I don't remember her name. All around a great experience. I love this Starbucks. It is near my house and doesn't have the feeling that it is a chain coffee store. The staff are super nice. I come here a couple times a week to get coffee before a long day at work. The parking lot is kind of hard to get into, but I don't mind because they are always quick and courteous. read more

i don't do starbucks. there i said it. but i do have friends that are fiends for their coffee. this starbucks is close by so i stop in and pick up gift cards here once a year. every single time i have ever been inside i get this amazing, blessing of superb customer service....just for buying a gift card. that deserves 4 stars. the staff here also introduced me to an interesting lemonade fruit punch drink that was really tasty. too bad i can't bring myself in this establishment on a regular basis to try it again. only once a year starbucks....and that it still too much. i still harbor feelings of guilt for buying those damn gift cards. read more

Quick exchange and pickup here for a customer. Two girls at the counter, she finished working with a customer then proceeded to talk to other employee. Wasn't until that girl said did you see that woman walk in did she greet me. Yeah, we can be a little kinder honey! We even both have glasses and are plus sized women. Let's be sweeter Starbucks! I love Starbucks, but I hate this location. The tiny parking lot that has about 20 slots available are shared among two other restaurants. This is a very tiny outdoor sitting area but it has two sets of table and it's located right in from of the parking lot, so no decent conversation can be happening while sitting outside. It doesn't get better when you're inside thought. This tiny location is always packed with students who live nearby, so don't think that finding a seat is a easy task. Once you do get a seat, don't expect to chat with your friend because the tiny location makes it noisy. The only good thing that comes to this location is that there is a Wells Fargo and post office nearby, so it's only good god a coffee run, nothing else. read more

I want to be nice for the wonderful staff at the counter who are Always friendly and nice to kids (that's the 2 stars). BUT, this is my least favorite Starbucks in all of Texas. The baristas are not nice, the service is crazy slow, they've screwed up my mobile order on more than on occasion and the seating stinks. I try not to go here if at all possible, which is hard when I'm dropping kids off at school and about to get on Mopac to get to work downtown. I just want a nice Americano to sip while sitting in traffic. Is that to much to ask? Apparently, it is. read more

I'm not a huge Starbucks fan, but this one is near my kids' daycare so I stop there some days. They put plenty of chocolate in the iced mochas, which is all I really ask for. They have a pretty nice patio area and no drive through, which I also like. Just driving past the SB on Anderson makes me stressed because of all the lazy people polluting in the drive-through lane rather than going in, so this one is much better for me in terms of low stress. The barristas are pretty nice too, though that's usually the case at SB. read more

This location has the great local neighborhood feel, its small but has a nice size back patio. There is no drive thru but you can tell that its more of a come and hang out spot compared to other Starbucks! read more

Quick, consistent service. The baristas are helpful but not overly fake friendly. Even though it's not a drive through it's still an easy place to pop in and out to get your morning fix. However, imo not a super relaxed atmosphere for hanging out, as it can get very crowded and loud. All in all, still my favorite sbx in the hood. read more

Very pleased. The English man there was quite fast in getting all the orders out. They don't have drive through so he knows people want to be in and out. In, Order, bathroom, drink, out. All within ten minutes, and it was full house. read more

Wow. Just got out of Starbucks at 10:25 and writing this review 5 minutes later. Unbelievable service. The young lady at the register was very helpful taking my order and even remembered my name in spite of the 100's of people they serve daily. I accidentally made a mistake when ordering and the barista was kind and fixed it without any issues. Great service from top to bottom and will definitely be back! read more

Just another Starbucks. Mediocre coffee, high prices, yuppie patrons sipping on lattes while loudly typing on their Macbooks. All that aside, this is the closest coffee place to my apartment, the employees are very nice and are always extremely polite and they always seem to get your order out extremely quick (although I do usually just order black coffee). I also appreciate the fact that when I'm trying to waste some time I can take advantage of Starbuck's relatively fast wifi connection. I'll continue to come back...mutliple times a week but really nothing outside mediocrity here. read more
