I recently had the opportunity to meet my Yelp OG bud at this Starbucks where we spent an hour plus catching up and solving all the world's problems. This Starbucks is pretty large and the environment is brightly lit. There are long picnic style tables as well as some smaller round tables. There is also a drive up window for those on the go. I also really appreciated that they really keep this location very clean. Beverage and food options is typical Starbucks. My latte' and banana bread arrived hot and warm! Their dedicated parking lot is pretty small so it may be optimum to park in the adjacent strip mall lot. read more

Mmm Starbucks! It was good! We wanted a soft drink and stopped here on our way home- I got an iced grande Matcha with almond milk and it was gone before I got home! It was a fast stop- device was cordial, we used the drive thru so I have no clue how the inside of the shop looked like but it all seemed neat and clean around the outside! What's not to like? The drive thru is still efficient and accurate, especially when I use the app. Inside, drink pick ups are still at the far end of the counter, which can cause a crowd of people standing in the small place waiting. It's not the best set up with the space. The store is good for working. When I've walked in, the atmosphere is calm, not loud. This store tends to have a large staff working, larger than the average store I visit. Perhaps fewer employees are behind the scene here? Regardless, they work together well. They rarely step on each other's shoes. read more

This is by far the cutest Starbucks. I can't wait to experience the inside. I can imagine what it would be like, considering seeing the outside with the palm trees. But this review is about the drive-thru. The young gentleman at the window was so sweet. He brightened my day from the moment I heard his voice when I ordered. His voice was upbeat; it made me smile. After, I drove around to see the face that matched the happy voice. He was still smiling, handed my drink through the window, and made sure to tell me to have a great day. Now, here's the catcher: this time, I ordered a small Iced Pecan Crunch, and it was so exceptionally good that I wanted to kick myself for not ordering a large one. read more

Austin's temperature dropped down to 27 degrees this week. There's nothing better than a hot cup of tea on a cold day. Therefore, I decided to drive by Starbucks's for a quick cup of tea (mint medley) and oatmeal. For my oatmeal, I normally have two packets of nuts and no berries, no sugar. It was nice and thick this morning. Usually this Starbucks has a long drive through line, but today was an exception...quick and easy...less than five minutes. The cashier was very friendly and personable. This was one of the older Starbucks in town, but did not disappoint. I would recommend Starbucks if you want a quick drink and bite to eat. I really like this Starbucks because it is nice inside and they are always well stocked. Their only problem is getting in and out of the parking lot. If you're going to dine in, it's better to just park out in the shopping center parking lot. If you're going to drive-thru, be ready for lots of foot traffic and very sharp turns lol read more

Went here a few days ago and have gone about 2-3 times same week before that and I can truly say that each time I have gone the staff has been super kind and friendly! I love that they write little words on the cups, they always have a smile, and make my complicated drink so GOOOD it definitely makes a difference when your drink is good and staff is great before a work shift. read more

This Starbucks gets pretty packed during the day. The windows are nice and there's a ton of natural light. Lots of indoor seating with outlets almost at every table, but not a good variety of high seating. All the tables are low tables. Options for outdoor seating. Bathrooms were relatively clean and spacious. Drive-thru street is one way, but encountered several people who went the wrong way so be careful! read more

Why would Starbucks need another review? You already know what you get here. But this Starbucks is one of biggest Starbucks in Austin, and they have a great drive-thru. Most Starbucks in Austin are small and have no drive-thru. Other than space and having a drive-thru, the other really impressive thing at work here is their mastery of the logistics required to serve so many people so fast. Having an app and a recognized brand will only get them so far. Their drive-thru orders are so smoothly executed that I've never had to wait long for anything. Allendale really relies on this place to get moving every day. As a remote working environment, I choose them when I want guaranteed warmth, parking, and a guaranteed electrical outlet. Our local Austin shops are amazing when the weather is right --which is just about all the time. But most places aren't set up for cold here. And the local places sometimes aren't designed with many outlets or parking. Today my battery is low, and it's cold. I had my pick of a ton of parking places close to the building. The busiest Starbucks in the area, with a usual 30 minute wait in the drive-through. The staff is impressive, in keeping consistently upbeat and delivering customer service. Automatic 5 stars because that's a talent and a feat in itself. Inside, it's loud like any other Starbucks, but surprisingly calm and spacious- the sort of place you'd like ti stop and relax. I tried visiting this Starbucks about a year ago and it was closed due to staffing issues. I'm really happy to see that they are fully staffed now and that the employees are also absolutely wonderful! I recently stopped in on a Tuesday for their Tuesday July promotion of 50% off cold beverages and ordered a cold brew with chocolate foam after the recommendation of an employee. I was torn between two options and ultimately ordered the chocolate option based on her testimonial of having made it before it was even a menu option. That being said, the beverage was promptly and delicious made, the store is clean and well organized, the drive-thru was moving quickly (although I opted to walk in), and the employees here were all wonderfully friendly. This is my favorite Austin Starbucks from when I used to live in the area and even though I've now moved to South Austin, it's still my favorite Starbucks to visit! read more

I was on a road trip getaway weekend and ended up stopping here on my way to a museum. In Houston,every time I order my drink with light cream, they fill whatever size cup halfway with cream just about. So when I went to this location, I tried to be REAL specific about LIGHT cream. I have to hand it to them, the cashier made the note and also talked to the barista to make SURE it was exactly the way I wanted it. Consider me impressed. Reason #3 I'd move to Austin. Spacious location with a wide range of seatings options available from large tables, to couches, to comfortable lounger chairs, to high tables. Service was fast and friendly. I also like their little joke customer of the month board where they highlight a ridiculous request someone had. I'm surprised to see this location is rated as not a good place to work, there are plenty of sizeable tables and outlets, the music isn't too loud and it isn't overrun with people to the point of becoming a noise issue. The only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because there's usually a really nice person working the drive-thru. I placed a pickup order through the mobile app. I went into the (nearly empty) store to pick it up and stood at the pickup counter. I could see one of my drinks sitting there, but the other wasn't ready even though it was ready for pickup about 10 minutes prior. There were 4 employees working. None of them greeted me, acknowledged me, or even looked me in the eye. The two ladies were making drinks for another inside customer, but there were two guys literally just standing around goofing off. One was playing on his cell phone and the other was standing around twiddling his thumbs. I could see the drive thru line from inside - there was no one in line. I stood there for a few minutes and finally said I was here to pick up my order and that I saw one of my drinks, but the other one wasn't there. That's when one of the ladies chimed in to say "oh, we don't make nitro drinks until you come to pick up your order." Okay?! Well, I'm here! If anyone had even taken a second to acknowledge that, you would've known to make it! I have worked in customer service my entire life It is SO SIMPLE to just look someone in the eye and acknowledge them instead of texting, goofing off, and completely ignoring someone for several minutes when it isn't even remotely busy. I don't typically rate chains but I have to give a shout out to this particular Starbucks location. They. Are. Fast. Like what Starbucks should be fast, like back in the day fast. There are so many in town where I find myself shouting at my dash, and sometimes I'm one of two cars in line! But not here. AND if you dare to go inside, they actually serve you promptly rather than every single car first (this has happened to me). This review is probably biased, because I LOVE THE STAFF AT THIS STARBUCKS. Believe it or not, this is the BUSIEST STARBUCKS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. It shows, too! The drive-thru line can be comically long. I'm talking, who has 20 minutes to wait in their car for a latte, long. Be we all know how these basic people love their Starbucks. They were also bringing product in 10 minutes before close which was strange. I sat in my car for a bit to go to a different Starbucks, then I saw someone order through the drive through!! I called and asked if they were closed again, and she said "well we close in 2 minutes" and I was confused cause everyone in the store said they were closed 15 minutes before. Pros - Nice build-out/space. Comfortable furniture. Ample power outlets. The drink quality is consistently good. Ample parking. Music at a mercifully reasonable volume. Cons- This store does not keep consistent hours. Information on the web says they stay open until 9:00 pm. They are open until 7:00. Over Christmas/New Year's holiday, the lobby was closed 30% of the time with a handwritten note they were "short staffed" taped on the door. The drive-through closed at different hours, shy of 7:00 many nights as well. The staff is overworked. I was greeted this morning by a sullen gal "We'll get to you as soon as we can.." Not, "Good Morning" etc. A fair smattering of homeless folk in-store loitering. The drive-through area is unkempt, littered with trash and boxes. read more

I frequent this location often as it's so close to work but after today I will have to rethink this location. My mobile order was placed at 9:06 and my arrival was 9:12 in the drive thru line. I let them know I'm here for a mobile order and they state it's not ready yet which is fine and understandable but then the employee says I have to go around and get in line AGAIN because she states she couldn't have me just waiting at the window. At this point I'm so confused because this has never happened before there have been times when drinks are made on "the fly" at the window when an order is incorrect so I was thinking it was odd she asked me to drive back around for my drink. I could understand had there been a line of 10 plus cars waiting but it was slow and there was only 1 person behind me. What would have happened had I of ordered at the speaker and not online? Do you no longer take orders at the speaker because technically that would cause a back up too since the drink isn't already made when they just placed an order? Makes no sense! read more
