    2/3 full drink for 6.50
    Sabonn D.

Went through drive through this morning and spent 6.50 on a brown sugar espresso that wasn't even close to full!? Why i spending so much money on a drink that's 2/3 full lmao.

Birthday iced tea and a cookie! Don't judge me hahaha!

its my local Starbucks :) Love it because its pretty close to the house. I go in for my passion iced tea, unsweetened :) Friendly staff, its clean :) Its a small one, but I think most of them are. Nice place. I like it. Its a typical Starbucks, but this staff is friendlier than most :)

kind of long, but this is my first ever real review that i felt obligated to add. i went through the drive thru today and ordered my drink this way "venti hot blonde espresso with hazelnut," i wasn't sure how to order it so that is what i said. the girl over the intercom asked if i would like some creamer in my drink, so i said yes. maybe what i ordered didn't make sense, but i didn't receive an explanation that it didn't make sense. i proceeded to the window and paid and tipped as always. she handed me my pup cup( which i ordered last minute because i forgot to order it in the drive thru, so kudos to them for being nice and getting it for me), my boyfriends drink, and then she handed me my venti drink. it was in one of the espresso shot cups so i was a little thrown off. i said "i think this was supposed to me a venti" she kind of looked at me funny and said "uhm... okay." grabbed my drink, poured the little shot cup into a venti cup and handed it to me then walked away without saying anything. i was extra thrown off because that was not what i was expecting. a not even quarter filled venti cup? she walked away and didn't come back to the window for probably a minute, which doesn't sound long but it felt long with a line behind me lol. when she finally came back i said "im sorry i think i ordered a drink...?" and she said i ordered three shots with creamer. i asked her if she could maybe put creamer or something in it to make it a drink. keep in mind i was NOT mean and not trying to be annoying, i was just confused. she snagged the drink out of my hand, rolled her eyes, and said "whatever i'll just fix it." which just genuinely made me more confused and frustrated. she then came back at me kinda harsh asking if i wanted milk or creamer and i was still confused to i was deciding when another girl with curly hair (prior girl who was very distraught with my request had a pixie cut) interceded and actually did a GREAT job explaining to me what i ordered and why they handed it me. she gave me another option to fix the drink and offered to pour in a cup, make it a latte, and even put some caramel drizzle in it to make it cute. she was super sweet, kinda girl and im glad she was able to help me. i get that they were probably busy and stressed. i worked in customer service with food for three years in high school and get how annoying people can be. i just wish she was a bit more mature about it. but i LOVE the girl who helped me last. she was great :)

Convenient and hut like with a drive thru. The outside seating is sparse but the drive thru is quick. I go here often whenI am crunched for time and they have always been speedy. Bonus, have yet to get a messed up order here :)

The first review, yeah! This really surprises me because this is a busy street going towards Boise. Really friendly and fast service and my iced latte was spot-on!

Love this place I used to hate coming here because their customer service was terrible and my coffee tasted burnt idk what happened but I have been coming here for the past 3 months and it has been amazing every time! Amazing customer service every time I have came and the workers look happy to be there whatever changed makes me def wait even through the long wait lines and the best part of all is after my awesome experience my coffee is sooooo yummmmmy I can taste it! So yes def after giving it another chance it was absolutely worth it! I'm a loyal Starbucks customer again!

Pros: barista was friendly and the place was very clean. Internet worked well and was fast. My drink I ordered (I always get the chai tea latte) was delicious as always. Cons: someone else accidentally took my drinks so I ended up having to wait extra while they made me a new one. Not necessarily Starbucks fault but still a little frustrating. Also they did have a small wait in line to order (about 5 minutes) which wasn't horrible.

    Sumatra... Boo hotel coffee!
    Sam P.

When you travel on the road, I don't know about you but I'm always looking for a little something familiar in the morning. Ok, I couldn't stand the coffee at the hotel, so swung on through for a cup of Sumatra! This Starbucks was right on the way. I went in, it took 3-minutes for someone to get to me (not that anyone was in line ahead of me, just they were messing with a couple of baked items for the Drive Thru!), and I was out. -1 star for the prolonged wait time. Ahhhh Starbucks... What did I do before you?

    Thank you Amy!
    Terri T.

Amy thank you for your super sweet gesture this morning. Your thoughtfulness brought a smile to both of us! Thanks again for taking the time to be so kind!

Even when this place appears to be busy via drive thru, they still manage to get drinks out fast and accurately!

Thank goodness for living in a rainy city ..I had prepared all my life for this moment. When we…read morearrived, it was absolutely pouring, and being from the Pacific Northwest, we didn't think twice about waiting in line .As soon as the rain let up, though, the line grew dramatically, so we were glad we had stuck it out. The bakery itself is small, but the display case is anything but. It's packed with beautifully crafted pastries, each one more tempting than the last. Honestly, everything looked worth trying. We settled on the Rose Croissant and the Lox Croissant Sandwich, and both were excellent. The rose croissant was a standout with the rose flavor delicate yet present in every bite, which is rare for floral pastries. It never became overpowering or faded into the background or tasted artificial. The true star of the meal, however, was the lox croissant sandwich. It was absolutely stellar and one of the best savory pastries we've had in a long time. The coffee was just okay, but that was fine because the pastries completely stole the show. The staff worked quickly despite the steady stream of customers. There is a bit of seating both indoors and outdoors, although most people seemed to be taking their orders to go ,perhaps because of the weather. If you're visiting, come for the pastries. They're absolutely worth the wait.

If you're like us and like specialty coffee flavors like salted caramel, lavender, honey, etc., this probably isn't the spot for your coffee fix. That said... the pastries are absolutely worth the visit! Everything we tried was beautifully made and delicious. Just a heads up: it gets very crowded and busy, so I'd recommend arriving early or going in with a little patience. It's not typically a quick grab-and-go stop, but the pastry treats make it worth slowing down for!

Two enterprising young women are owners of this gem of a popular West Bench neighborhood gathering…read morespot that they created in what was an old dump of a 1950's era strip mall space and funded in part with crowd sourcing. Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

Quick take: Yes, decent espresso…read more Coffee Snob Version: First some background to be fair. I buy and roast my own beans and tried beans from all over the world. I have an Excel file full of roasting profiles per bean with what worked and what was less good. I tend to like African and Asian beans. I have use the same Breville machine for 15 years, drink espresso and espresso based drinks exclusively. Yes I would consider myself a coffee snob. I live around the corner from here and have meant to come try them for a while. I was sick a few weeks ago so missed two roasting Fridays, I roasts every Friday and ran out of my own beans. As you know if you are reading the Coffee Snob version, Sbux disappoints, so hey... perfect opportunity to try here! What to try... curious to know about their beans, I ordered a Dopio and an Americano. The Dopio lets me experience just the bean, the Americano what it tastes like dilluted, the flavor can change a bit. The Americano also tells me how much water they add. I tend to make mine with equal parents espresso and water, there is an actual name for this that eludes me at the moment. What was odd was that as they pulled the double espresso shot, there was an unusual volume of crema on top, I actually saw the Barista dump some of the crema off before pouring the remainder in my cup. This is caused by a few things but beans that are too recently roasted is a primary cause. Freshly roasted means usually need at least a week to off as the carbon dioxide in the beans. All that crema was likely CO2 relates, so if anything would have made the shot undrinkablly bitter... And the Barista seemed to know this! I have had beans that needed a month to stabilize. One day it's sharp and bitter, as if by magic, the flavor has changed entyrly and is wonderful! The flavor of the Dopio would tend to support this as it was on the sharp side. That sharpness came through in the Americano which was full to the brim. The fix is simple, I add a small amount of whipped cream and swirl it in. When I get a less than ideal roast at home, this is the fix. I'm certain milk based drinks, cappuccino, breve, etc would overcome this easily. Will I go back, if I am out of beans, definitely, but now I know to add a bit of whipped cream!
