Something just happened to me. I placed an order in through the app they went in at 8:11 was ready I went to pick it up at 8:15 I went through the driveway they didn't answer it. Where are you place your orders I went to the window. The girl was cleaning with a vacuum. I knocked on the window, and she just said no with her head. I was calling on the phone and went to the door on the entrance and I was knocking and they were three people there workin they were just looking at me and laughing. The baristas were friendly upon entry. After placing my order, the pastries came out quickly. My drink came over 10 minutes later. My cup with tea bags sat and sat while coffee drinks were prepared. I ordered a honey citrus mint tea. While waiting, I watched them work. She put the hot water in, then was ready to steam the lemonade. There was less than 1 inch in her pitcher. I am not a fan of Starbucks or any coffee shop. First, I dont drink coffee. Second, never understand why people want to hang out at a place like this? Third, have you seen the prices! I love this Starbucks because they have a drive thru location, which is all I need! Perfect for my early morning runs! Once in a while I will grab a slice of cake or something sweet, always fresh, never stale!! My friends and I visit the area at least three times a year and stop at this Starbucks every morning because frankly, it's the only option. We've been using the mobile app the last few trips and it's worked out really well to keep us on schedule. This trip was no different and we used our apps to pick up our favorite morning elixir. The coffee was fine each day although my flat white on the last day tasted more like a cap. The service was consistently mediocre as well. I don't expect too much when I pick up my mobile order but I do assume that my existence will be acknowledged by someone behind the counter and it was not. So I'm at this Starbucks right now, and though they do get points for cleanliness, temperature, and speed/accuracy of our order, there are two serious offenses to this particular branch. First, I grabbed a bottled Frappicino from the cooler, made my purchase, and took a few sips. Then I saw it. The expiration date. The bottle expired a month ago! I promptly brought it to the counter, tried to exchange it for another, and the next bottle was also expired! The cashier did refund the drink and also allowed me to exchange for a new, fresh Frap. However, this associate was trying to blame the error on a whole expired case, since she 'just restocked the cooler' recently. Seriously frightening if they're not checking dates. Hopefully the milk and syrups are current. Next, and really the issue is just with this individual 'barista' previously mentioned, she was sitting outside before her shift, smoking in front, and discussing personal issues with a customer who clearly could have cared less. These personal qualms involved jail time and alcohol--not exactly what I want to want to hear, but not really my business if your uniform's not on. However, she started her shift, and is now dropping f-bombs and other curse words while behind the counter. We can hear her, it's disruptive and unprofessional, and I'm positive others are irritated by her discourteous demeanor. Starbucks, I'm a loyal Gold Card patron, and still will be, but please be a little more discerning in your hiring/training process. Not a terrible choice if you want Starbucks coffee. But the whole experience could be 1000 times better. This place has gotten my order wrong. The workers do not seem to be paying attention. NEVER GO ON A THURSDAY EVENING! I went there and was studying and a group of maybe 50 men and teens came and all But sat on my lap, opened their portable chess mats, and started playing chess. I was looking around like what on earth is going on, but as per usual no one in a Starbucks tries to act like there is a world outside of their book. It seems to be a regular group, and they seemed to be oblivious of my curious looks as to why one man sat down directly next to me, while another person sat across from me, And they proceeded to play chess in my workspace. I was so confused as to how they expected me to continue quietly reading and studying with whatever the hell they were doing right in my face. If I can give it a zero I would. Made a mobile order and arrived to pick it up. Yes they are busy and short staff. That was not my issue. I stood there ten minutes and no one a knowledge me. People before me and free me received their order. When the last person came and gave her name he started working on hers. So unless you provide your name on a mobile order that's when they work on it. Whats the purpose of mobile order if your going to work on it when someone arrived. And if that's the case shouldn't you ask when someone comes in and specially waiting over 10 minutes after my estimated time pick up. I just want and requested a refund. I think she was a manager had no remorse or anything. Sad thing is I was so chill and didn't make a fuss. So does one have to make a scene to get respect and at least a apology for the miscommunication. I will never visit this location. I really hope corporate looks into this and train employees not to ignore clients especially when standing there for over 10 minutes of pick up. I was so angry how they handled the situation. I hate to give a business this low of a rating but unfortunately this is justified. The first time I went here and ordered a mocha, it wasn't good. It tasted chalky like something that you would find at a gas station. I would have given this place three stars because of that. However, the second time I came here and ordered a mocha again, it tasted like watered down milk. No mocha taste (or any coffee for that matter) at all! It was so nasty that I couldn't finish it and just threw it away. I give it one star. People are nice but they don't know how to make coffee. There really aren't any good coffee shops around that area. If you want some great coffee, go to Peet's. It's about 15 mins north of this Starbucks but WELL WORTH IT. read more

Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with this location. My order wasn't made properly, and didn't taste that good. I used the mobile app, and used the same order I use at my regular Starbucks, so I know I didn't order incorrectly. In general, the flat white I ordered wasn't as good as the location off Boughton near The Promenade. I went inside for my mobile order, due to a line at the drive-up. After waiting for a few minutes, and seeing someone get their order which was placed after I entered the store, I asked someone about my order. They brought it to me immediately, as it was already made and waiting by the drive-thru window. They were busy, so part of me understands, but the company has this program so customers like me can hop in and out quickly and not have to wait. They need to pay more attention to people coming in and walking right to the waiting area for their order. I won't be making any effort to return to this location. read more

It's frustrating when you feel like you have to take a sip of your drink before you pull away but you do. It's an investment and for $4 I want what I want.
