After ending up in Naperville on a random errand, my partner and I decided to find a place to grab some coffee and spend some time playing a tabletop game (why yes, we do carry some around just in case we find a good spot to play). We found Arwa on Yelp and decided to check it out. I do love the ambiance in this spot. The music was excellent - Arabic covers of many different genres, half the fun was trying to see which of us could guess the song cover first. I also really appreciated that the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at a regular volume, no trouble hearing each other at all across the table. The seating is all comfortable, seats with actual cushions (big fan of that, so many coffee shops have hard uncomfortable chairs) and the tables are plenty big enough for two people to share some drinks, food, and a small game (or some laptops, books, insert whatever you're relaxing with). The folks working there were nice. My partner wasn't sure which of their specialty coffees he might like since we'd never been there before and were unfamiliar with them, but they offered to give him samples of four different ones so he could taste them first. Everything he tried was really good, he had a hard time choosing! I went with the Biscoff latte and it was perfect, not too sweet, perfect balance of milk, flavoring, and coffee. The bathrooms were also super clean, if I lived nearby I'd definitely see this as a great work from home spot! I wish I lived closer so I could go back more often, but if I'm in the area again, I would love to stop in again and spend a couple of hours here!

This was my first time coming here, well trying Arwa in general. I have yet to try the location closest to me. I really liked the decor inside, I guess Middle Eastern coffee shops are still new to the Naperville area by Fox Valley. I can tell from all of the Asian and white girls lining up to take pics with the decor. There are so many by me in DG/Lombard/Bolingbrook. Service is very friendly. A lot of parking. I ordered a pumpkin spice cheesecake, Dubai cookie, and dragon blood refresher. I really enjoyed how smooth and creamy the cheesecake was. The cookie was not bad, they will heat it up for you. Dubai chocolate is usually rich, the cookie you have to take your time eating. The drink was very good. I wouldn't mind ordering it again. Prices are fair and similar to others.

We stopped in a for casual breakfast at Arwa. They recently opened on Route 59 and I love all the diverse options of food and drink in south Naperville. I don't have to travel far for Yemeni coffee, and so many other yummy spots. In just the strip mall alone where Arwa is located, you can get bubble tea, Korean food, Indian, Vietnamese, donuts, and Uzbeki food. Talk about an international line up. I am a huge fan of cardamom, so I ordered the sand dune latté (honey, cardamom, caramel, vanilla, arwa spice blend, whipped cream). My husband ordered the palm latté (white chocolate, date syrup), and we shared honeycomb bread with cheese, drizzled with honey. The interior is a gorgeous white and neutral/warm browns and these built-in archways along the walls. It feels warm and inviting; and everything was pristine and curated. They have a pastry case full of delicacies (cheese bread, zaatar bread, dubai cookies, tres leches milk cakes, rose cardamom milk cakes, and more). In addition to offering matcha lattés, they had some specialty drinks like a spanish latté, pistachio latté, and biscoff latté. Really creative flavors that you won't be able to find at just any cafe. It was a lovely cafe to check out and I highly recommend it. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Arwa was a really fun experience. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, fun yet sophisticated, and the drinks were on point. We just went super late, so we didn't have access to every selection, but what we did select was great. I enjoyed a Sand Dune Latte and it was delicious! Lots of fun photo ops here too... the people behind the counter were super nice and kind, and quick to help. They really looked out for our wandering toddler!

My very first time trying this coffee. I was in a rush and It took a bit longer than anticipated and it was a bit more expensive than I'm used to paying however, the service was top notch and the coffee was smooth and tastes clean...can't really explain it. I'm a Dunkin girly..still enjoyed this. I had a pour over with a couple pumps of vanilla and half and half. The environment was clean, beautiful and welcoming. I'll be back to try other options!

Ordered a Yemeni latte (iced) and the tres leches milk cake. Yummy but a bit pricey at almost $16. Ambience is very nice and clean inside.

I really like Arwa in Bolingbrook, so it was a nice surprise to find this new Naperville location when I went to pick up food from Kabob King in the same plaza. This Arwa isn't as big as the Bolingbrook location, so it doesn't have the same level of decor. It feels kind of plain (for example, it doesn't have the extra room with artwork like in Bolingbrook), but it uses the same color scheme. It was empty when I went on a Saturday around 1 PM, but I doubt many people know about this location yet. I ordered a hot Yemeni Latte, which was very good. Delah Coffee serves their drinks so hot that I have to wait a long time to drink it, but the temperature was just right with Arwa's drink. I also really like the cream puddings at Arwa, but I avoided the temptation this time. I'll have to try it some other time. Service was friendly. Pricing, as with all Yemeni coffee shops, was high. It was close to $8 with tax & tip.

So, I'm a weekly Whole Foods shopper, and I notice things between stores. Like, this store has a…read morelot more 50% off sandwiches, guacamole, cut fruit, etc when it's getting close to the expiration date. This is a great buy but you must remind the check out clerk, because they forget to look for the stickers. What I do not like re this WF is the bread/pastry aisle. They expect you to get your full loaf of bread, cut it in their bread machine, and put it in the bag. No, thank you. People are using their bare hands to take out the loaf, and it's not hygienic. When I ask the person behind the counter to select and cut it for me (since they wear gloves and are selecting the bread from the clean side), they are more or less helpful. Some seem annoyed to be asked. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $5.50+ a loaf, you should be able to cut it up for me. I don't want bread people have touched or to use a machine people have their bare hands all over. Their half loaves of bread are a scam. They do not equal a full loaf but two cost more than a full loaf. WHAT? I guess I feel the same way re pastries and cookies. People put their bare hands into the glass shelves, or maybe, use a sheet of the thin paper, if it's available (sometimes, it's not). That's just gross, and they've doubled the price of these things. I'll just buy prepackaged pastries, thank you. Now, on to grapes. Do not just buy the grapes in the bag. Here, they act like they're being hygienic by pre-packing all the grapes, but all they're doing is hiding the older grapes that are detached with the newer grapes. Shake out that bag, and take the good ones. My insider tip. :)

Love doing pickup here. They have so many healthier options. Usually if I have to schedule a later…read morepickup it is ready within an hour of me placing the order and I just have to pickup by the end of the day. Their empanadas are also good! And usually there are a ton of sales.
