A little more time to check out the QR code menu would have been nice considering it was my first time but luckily one of the featured drinks was the Toasted Marshmallow latte and that sounded good to me so I went an iced one of those. Although the staff were very really friendly and it was a nice ordering experience the drink was just very underwhelming. I had heard that 7 Brew's drinks tended to be on the sweet side so I was expecting it to be heavy on the syrup but the toasted marshmallow flavor ended up being very faint. The latte just tasted more like sweetened milk actually. I couldn't really discern much of a coffee flavor even. I wonder if the medium iced option at 24oz just has more likelihood of being not as strong. As I was waiting for my drink the breve section did catch my eye. I might stop by again and get a small one of those to give the place another chance but at least I know for now that I haven't been missing out on too much.

They lean on the sweeter side, and because of the strong spice blend (lots of cinnamon and ginger), the aftertaste ended up feeling a bit like ginger/scallion aromatics to me. It's definitely an acquired taste if you're only used to standard coffee or espresso drinks, but it's very interesting to experience. Top-notch service and a lovely atmosphere overall. Even though the traditional spiced coffee flavor profile wasn't fully for me, it's a wonderful spot if you love spiced drinks or want to try something culturally authentic!

I know it wasn't the employee's fault BUT there is no way to get out of line once you have your drink (far left line) so if there's an issue, everyone waits. That being said, you can get your drink fixed before you leave the line, but then you're the "a-hole" that holds up the line. Overall I love 7 Brew and I'm hoping they tweak the customer service here to become an all star establishment.
