Mercy cupboard always closed and locked here.

This Starbucks is a larger space with a drive through. There are only a few tables though, and the old merchandising cupboards now store production supplies instead of Starbucks merchandise. The place always seems empty and over-staffed. I'm assuming their drive through business must keep them busy. There's a second location less than a mile away - I'll never understand Starbucks and their store placement strategy. There's no logic to it. I dislike that the music is played at such a high volume. It's impossible to sit and chat with anyone. There is an outside seating area but it abuts the 410 so it's loud out there, too.

13 min for a quad is unacceptable. Normally I'm a pretty relaxed customer but was a bit on edge today due lack of sleep thanks to two 10 year old boys and a slumber party. Walked in, wait was average , order taker person was cordial, placed order and waited. Was average busy for this Starbucks, 3 people deep in line, drive though packed, etc. coffee bar looked like a tornado hit it. Wife gets her order 3 waters and some over complicated latte thing that requires the baristas to milk a cow and heat the milk with gluten with free heat. 13 min later I mention to wife I still don't have coffee. She attempts to get barista's attention with little luck. (Barista appeared to be very cranky, or annoyed?). Finally wife gets baristas attention, quad is finally made, but is sent back because.......there is too much coffee. (I think this is a bit much) Anyway I finally receive my quad...13 min late. Edge is coming off....might need another quad soon as I'm headed to an event for 200 pug's (oh and the 10 year olds are coming)

Seriously the fastest and most accurate at orders of any Starbucks I've ever been to.

Andrew at the drive-thru window was extremely rude. He cut me off every time I was ordering something. Drink was good, however.

I was east of Puyallup on a Saturday morning and thought, "Hey, I'm going to find a bakery I've…read morenever been to!". A quick search found Fika, very promising ratings and I'm partial to Swedish baked goods since I spend time in Sweden every year. Fika is located inside Farm12, a huge complex that even contains a school so, why not a coffee shop? When I arrived, the line was a good 30 feet out the door. Even more promising. After 20 minutes, I made it inside and got to look at the extensive selection of pastries and more. All of them looked pretty good though the only nod to Swedish baking was a cardamom bun (and one tart that also contained cardamom). The rest were standard baked goods and a few specialties for the month. Counter staff (Finn) was very helpful. I ordered a Farm12 mocha, almond croissant, and the aforementioned cardamom bun. The mocha was well made, perfect temp, and tasty. The cardamom bun dough was underproofed, dense, and gummy. Good flavor and looks. Almond croissant was buttery and flaky like you'd expect. I personally prefer my almond filling added after baking as it doesn't moisten the inside as much. Overall, this is a good addition to the area, nice people, seems well run, and handy if at the nearby park and trail. Just don't go in thinking Swedish in any way.

The maple grown sugar had a much bigger air pocket compared to the strawberry where the pastry was pretty flush to the jam inside. Both had great flavor. I couldn't tell you which I preferred since they're so different. I also got a morning bun which was a little hard when not warmed up. It had a little citrus flavor to it. Service was quick for ordering the pastries and no drink. I did come in when there want a line so that definitely helped in the wait time.

Every-time we come we see her talking happily with others then when it gets to us she's silent and barely interacts with us. We witnessed her snap at an elder customer over not having ice. As someone who works in the coffee industry this would never be aloud at my establishment.

BEN'S ESPRESSO: A NAME SO PERFECT IT MAKES OTHER NAMES QUESTION THEIR CAREER CHOICES…read more Let me tell you about the sheer BRILLIANCE of naming your coffee establishment "Ben's Espresso." The audacious simplicity! The raw courage to just put a guy's name - not just any name, but BEN - right there in front of "Espresso." While other cafes are out here with names like "The Daily Grind" or "Beans & Dreams," Ben just walked in and said "Yeah, it's my espresso joint. Deal with it." The apostrophe in "Ben's" - PERFECTION. The way it curves like a coffee bean that's achieved enlightenment. That tiny punctuation mark is doing more emotional heavy lifting than a barista during morning rush. It's saying "This is Ben's place" with the confidence of someone who knows exactly what they're doing with horseradish pudding. OH YES, THE HORSERADISH PUDDING. Let's pause our name appreciation to discuss this crime against traditional dessert expectations that somehow works so well it makes me question everything I know about dairy-based foods. It's like if wasabi decided to go to culinary school, dropped out, and then achieved its dreams anyway. The way it simultaneously clears your sinuses and soothes your soul is nothing short of supernatural. But back to that name - BEN'S ESPRESSO. Three syllables of pure naming nirvana. It's like if Shakespeare and a coffee roaster had a baby and that baby grew up to be really good at naming things. The understated confidence! The bold declaration of ownership! The casual dropping of "Espresso" like it's no big deal! Their horseradish pudding arrives like a fever dream you never want to wake up from - creamy, punchy, and somehow making perfect sense despite everything you know about pudding saying it shouldn't. It's the kind of dessert that makes you want to write poetry, but your sinuses are too clear to focus on metaphors. I've started a weekly appreciation circle where we just stand around saying "Ben's Espresso" in different tones of voice while eating spoonfuls of that magnificent root vegetable pudding concoction. Sometimes we cry. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes our nasal passages achieve transcendence. The name is so perfect that other coffee shops have been seen adding unnecessary words to their names out of sheer intimidation. But you can't compete with perfection. You can't compete with BEN'S ESPRESSO. You especially can't compete with a place confident enough to serve a pudding that feels like a gentle face punch from a velvet ghost. Five stars for the name - its minimalist perfection brings tears to my eyes. INFINITE stars for whoever looked at horseradish and thought "You know what this needs? To be pudding." I've started a support group for people overwhelmed by both the simplicity of the name and the complexity of their signature dessert. We meet weekly, our sinuses clearer than our thoughts. P.S. I heard someone suggest they should add more words to their name, and Ben himself just silently slid them a bowl of horseradish pudding. No words needed. Pure power move. P.P.S. The horseradish pudding doesn't just sit in a bowl - it LOUNGES in it, like it knows something about the universe that we're all still trying to figure out. Note: This review was written while experiencing what I can only describe as a religious experience involving both the perfect simplicity of the name "Ben's Espresso" and the paradoxical existence of horseradish pudding. My sinuses have never been clearer, and my appreciation for apostrophes has never been stronger.

This place fell off. I don't know what happened to it. I…read moreremember it being delicious, but I brought an out of state friend here and I was so embarrassed. Positives: I love that there are sweet and savory crepes so there's something for everyone. I love that they have seasonal drinks so there's a funky flavor to try out and not the basics all the time. The batter of the crepes are really eggy, which I love. Negatives: What happened to the sweet crepes?? They used to be filled with caramelized apples or some fresh strawberries with paste or strawberry and rhubarb. Now 3/4 of the sweet crepes HAVE NO FILLING. I paid $13 for a crepe with just brown sugar as a filling.... guys, this is a rip off. The sweet crepes had options of brown sugar filling, powdered sugar filling, maple syrup. This is a joke? The only one that had fruit was the strawberry Nutella one and Nutella is usually a flavor palate for kids. I was SO disappointed. I ordered a small banana bread latte and ended up having no banana bread syrup in mine so it was just a regular latte, I should've said something but I was basically already done with the experience when I realized I paid $22 for a basic SMALL latte and some batter with brown sugar. My friend got the pumpkin chai and that was really good, I do have to say. It's cute but not worth it at all.
