Starbucks with a drive through - Amazing. Speed of drive through at this Starbucks - Tortoise-tastic. I order a very simple drink (Iced Quad Venti Latte, sometimes non-fat) pretty much every time. I don't recall ever getting my order wrong, except when it was obvious they switched the order of the orders and I was handed the drink for the car behind me. That has happened more than once, though not recently. I did try sitting inside one day, hoping to make a phone call and kill some time. Unfortunately the background music and AC were so loud there was no way I could make the call. Overall, I recommend it only if you're driving by. read more

This is seriously the slowest drive thru ever. It doesn't matter if there is one car in front of you or 6. It will take forever. Even if you're the first and only car, an iced coffee will take an ungodly amount of time. Once a car pulls in behind you there is no exiting the line if it's taking too long. I had to be in line for 17 minutes with a screaming infant in my back seat I was unable to soothe because I was trapped and couldn't run in and apologize, grab my coffee and go. 17 MINUTES! read more

This location is perfect for me when I need an emergency caffeination, right on 1A on my way to work. I don't stop often, but when I do they are super fast and friendly. This time I was hauling Mom to a doctor's appointment. She's a little on the lactose intolerant side, so we decided to try green tea lattes, soy style. We can vouch for them!! A. The set up of this place is capital A, Awkward. You walk in the door and are faced with the "pick up" counter. Walk around the counter to place your order, then walk back to where you started to pick it up. Ok, fine...but when there is a line, the line wraps next to the pick up counter. Very confusing. It's a huge building and definitely not utilized to it's potential. B. Service. SERVICE. A company thrives or dies based on it's SERVICE, especially a chain. You know the product, so you expect a smile to take it above and beyond. I would have been happy with a smirk, a nod, anything? No? Ok...well..I'll just be on my way... C.They had run out of the spinach and feta wrap that I wanted, so I decided to get the chicken sausage wrap. Now, this is NOT this location's fault, but when the sign says "egg white and chicken sausage wrap" what I am expecting to get is a wrap with egg whites and chicken. They were there...and they invited mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, and cheddar cheese to the party! Who knew?! I didn't mind because I personally will eat anything and it actually made it better, but what if someone had an allergy? Or simply didn't like mushrooms? There was no sign anywhere. I did a double take at the sign and yes, the other wraps and sandwiches tell you EXACTLY what is on them, but not this one. Overall, my iced coffee and wrap weren't worth the frustrations! read more

Worst Starbucks EVER. I am SO frustrated this morning. I started going here a few months ago as I was over Dunkin Donuts coffee and its equally inconsistent coffee/poor staff in my area (winthrop/revere/east boston). Anyway, back to Starbucks, over the course of the few months I have been going here my drinks have consistently been made incorrectly or just plain not what I ordered. The first instance was about a month ago, I ordered a grande iced caramel macciato. As I am driving away I quickly realize this is not a caramel macciato, I mean it is, but something is wrong. I realize they have used peppermint syrup in place of caramel. Really? I go back in and explain. The boy at the counter finds this humorous. I asked him what would have happened if I was allergic to peppermint?? He asked me if I was and I replied, "Well, I am still here.. so clearly not." Also, not the point. How about we just make my drink correctly. I have driven away from this Starbucks drive through many other times over the last few months with the wrong drink and not had time to go back in to have it fixed. Just this morning, I ordered a venti pumpkin spice latte. I drive away and realize that my drink is less than halfway full! It is so frustrating. I paid for a venti! I have never had these things happen at any other Starbucks in any other area that I've lived. Why can we not have good service/correct drinks in this area?? I will not go here again. read more

The staff here needs a talking to. There was one person ordering in front of me when I arrived. That person then left the counter. Oddly, so did the barista taking orders. Then a different barista (from the drive thru area) slides food on the counter in front of me. Never said what it was, or called a name, just placed it down in front of me. I took a step back to let someone come and take it, finally the person did. Roughly 1 min later, the barista, who was supposed to take my order, and was not doing anything else except rudely and loudly talking to his other employees, finally asked for my order. I ordered and got my drink quickly from a barista actually doing his job. While the barista was trying to do his job, the barista that took my order again started talking loudly to his other employees about taking 20 shots of expresso. I stayed here for about an hour to work, and during this time still though this loud talking barista was very inattentive and rude. read more

Was so happy to see that there was a Starbucks near me so I wouldn't get stuck going to Dunkin Donuts. Yes, I guess I'm one of the few people around here who isn't a fan of Dunkin Donuts. Sorry, but my brother worked at Starbucks for a couple years, and I got hooked on that free pound of coffee a week. I like that this location is drive-thru and that they put stickers on your cup that tells you exactly what you're getting, unlike most other Starbucks. The only thing about this place is that they only seem to have soy milk half of the time. I hope whoever does the ordering catches on and orders more soy milk. read more

It had a slightly rough start but now it's great. Very friendly staff and they are getting the drinks right! Unlike many new Srarbucks, this one has breakfast sandwhiches. Convienient drive thru, open very early (4:30 am) and a lot of room inside for a city Starbucks. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of sofas, they only have standard tables/chairs. read more

Love this place, although the general manager was out on leave the staff kept it together. They are friendly and very helpful. The coffee is awesome but when new staff is there it might taste off. There is something very wrong with the work flow here. Only go if you have the day off and can wait a fairly long time. The drive through is very slow even if you are only a couple of cars back. Inside ordering is not much better. Only one of two registers is ever open and the one who takes your order and money is also the one cooking your food. He/she leaves the register to go cook your breakfast sandwich. Not very efficient and maybe not so aesthetically pleading to have the one handling the money, handle the food. It seems like there are a lot of employees wiping counters, filling ice, but not so many taking care of customers. Most are not very engaging with the exception of Jen. She is a ray of sunshine. I used to go here every day, but not any more.... maybe once every week or two because it's too frustrating. Oh... and the parking lot is a nightmare because it is so small. A small parking lot is not their fault but it's all the more reason to crank up the speed of customer service to keep things from backing up in the lot. Oh... and there is a very common problem... them running out of food. Now I don't order a sandwich, assuming they have it... instead I ask, do you have any___ today?
