For a generic corporate coffee shop located in the lobby of a giant office tower, it never ceases to amaze me how slow and inefficient this place is. They always have 5+ people working and yet it takes forever to get anything and no one seems to know what anyone else is doing. This is the International Place location. Well...it's a Starbucks. It's a thankless task because you expect a certain standard from their coffee and atmosphere. Stepped in here to pick up a mobile order shortly after lunch. My order was ready quickly and the location was very clean. Perfect to sit and enjoy your beverage of choice and get work done, check your emails, etc. read more

The Starbucks was nice and clean. The drink was very fast to the order that I have requested. Good two entrances into the restaurant one through the main road in one through the hotel lobby. It's quite warm as it was outside very cold. Sitting in to just re-warm with a cuppa coffee was a great idea. The lighting structure is a little unique but very creative lead designed for the space. Great atmosphere and not very crowded at this time around 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. As always love a Starbucks when needed. read more

On Monday, January 6th I went to the Starbucks in front of 125 High Street for a coffee and pastries. The barista that took my order wasn't paying attention to what I was saying and got my order messed up. She gave put the wrong type of syrup in the drink, I kindly asked her to put the correct type in, I even mentioned that she didn't have to remake it. Just add the syrup on top. When I got back to my office, the drink was immensely sweet and I could only have one sip. On that day, the temperature was about 20 degree C. I decided that I would return on a warmer day to voice my opinion and concerns. Today, January 9th I went back, I told the barista what happened and his response was "Ohh". I ordered another drink and pastry, but while I was waiting for my drink - his response bothered me. I went back and told him I needed a refund for that day. He explained to me that no one would do such a thing, completed discrediting what I said. Eventually he gave me a $4 card, and to be quite honest, I think the card is empty. While I was waiting for my new drink, the barista called out "Kersten", I had to ask if that was my drink. Turns out the barista that I complained to, didn't even get my name right. Service at most Starbucks locations is pretty good, the service at this location is fantastic. The only things that can make your latte taste even better are when it is made with love and care and delivered with a smile. Geez that was corny. Sorry. The store is clean, the employees are friendly, the drinks are made correctly and quickly. Note that they close pretty early on the weekends. read more

The service at this location is amazing. They've seriously got the friendliest group of employees I've ever encountered. Not only that, but they actually went to the trouble of emailing me on Facebook when I left my wallet in there because I was too busy talking to my friend to pay attention to anything. Beyond that, everything is always made well, and if it isn't, they fixed it and handed out a coupon for a free drink next time. They also had a coffee party for one of my co-workers once and that was pretty awesome. We got to drink as much coffee as we wanted for like an hour, and they had treats for us! read more

This is my Starbucks of choice before I head into work. The staff is always in a great mood and service is very smooth and quick, even when the line to order reaches the front door. I will admit that I have had a time or two that my coffee somehow did not make it to the counter and had to have them make me a new one, but they are always courteous about it and each time have given me a gift certificate for a free coffee of my choice on my next visit in. Very sweet of them to do even though I do not expect it, it is much appreciated. The staff will remember their regulars and greet new faces with the same common courtesy, which will make you become a regular yourself in no time! +3 stars - They are open (for limited hours) on Saturday when I have to work +1 star - the entire staff is friendly and patient with me when I can't decide +6 stars - I had the best earl grey soy misto of my life here. We are going to ignore how sad my life is when this earns so much love for me. Round down - 10 to 5 Bonus points - they do promotions here frequently. I have two of the iPhone cases that charge on the Starbucks tables and have probably tried just about everything fo' free. read more

Pluses.. this location is in my bldg and (most) staff are great and very friendly. However... ever since they remodeled this location and redid the line - the service is painfully slow (in an already crazy busy location!) I am absolutely not a fan of the remodel. They also seem to have a great deal of new employees who are just not as friendly as the people who have worked here in the past. And to continue my whine-fest.. the new bakery goods are overpriced, pretty to look at, and not worth the caloric intake. The stuff they had before the fancy bakery stuff was much better. I still love this location, will contjnue to spend too much on coffee here, but still think the upgrade is a downgrade.. read more

The baristas (including my "BFF Barista," Ben) at this Starbucks are the best. They tolerate seeing me, listening to my random quips about nothing, and ever changing drink order at least one to two times per weekday. Even better, they support the Greenway (where I'm working right now) and help out a girl when she maybe forgets to refill her Starbucks card and doesn't have any form of cash on her (not that I have ever had that happen). Oooooooops. Most importantly, your drink is right EVERY time. I have yet to see a drink sent back, even when the line is out the door and the work day is about to start. I have yet to encounter grouchy service. LOVE IT! read more

It seems like Starbucks and organization go hand in hand. You've got to give it to them, the regular + express line is good customer service. And this place needs it, it is C-R-O-W-D-E-D!! I ordered a vanilla SOY latte. I see that they are steaming with a container labeled "MILK" - - I say, I ordered it with soy, the barista responds..it's soy. I taste it..and sure enough it's milk. I had to get back to work, so no time to make a fuss...but this is a big ISSUE..what if I was allergic to milk??? Anyway, I have about 3 other Starbucks to chose from, never coming back to this one. read more

Decent little space. The staff moves quickly like an oiled machine and they are fairly pleasant given the type A clientele of the financial district. There are a reasonable number of chairs and tables. The bathroom, however is dim and grimy , and poorly located right next to the counter where fulfilled orders are delivered. read more

One of the friendliest and most efficient Starbucks I have ever been in. Because of the location there is a line but barely anywhere actually sitting and eating/drinking there. Mostly everyone gets "to go" so it's a good spot to work if need be. read more

Okay, so I readily acknowledge that yelping about a Starbucks isn't the usual BUT I have to shout out the caffeine pushers at the International Place location. I've been working down in the Financial District for almost two months, with thrice weekly stop-ins at this Starbucks. The barristas (if I'm reviewing the 'bux, might as well go whole hog with the lingo) are incredibly friendly--I never get my usual anxiety as I struggle to get my Grande Light Iced Non-fat Skinny Vanilla Latte order off my tongue (mhm, and that folks is why I'm still single...). But the Yelp review inducement came last week, when I had placed my order from the back of the line but, upon reaching the register, realized that my wallet was, uh, back in my cubicle. I sheepishly leaned over to the barrista and asked if i could cancel my order, because I am a dumbass. The barrista just smiled and said "Next time," while grabbing my cup and filling my order perfectly, as per usual ayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnd cue *5 stars*. read more

My Job recently moved so this is now my go-to location. My experience so far......I miss the old crew/location in 101/75 Federal Street building!!!!!!! the staff here is not friendly, they do not get you know you, and most of my orders have been wrong thus far. I typically get soy milk in my drink, ( side note, it is overpriced and there should not be a charge for a substitute due to an allergy) on a few occasions, I was charged for the soy milk and did not get soy milk in my drink, the worst part is I didn't realize the error until I was already on my way back to my office across the street/ another building. $5 down the drain. I also typically ask for no foam in my drink ( its takes up valuable space and I want every drop of this overpriced Soy milk in my cup) I've watched the Barista scoop the foam out of my cup (good thing) and then put the cover on without topping it off with more soy milk (bad thing) I feel cheated when you hand me a cup that is light and effectively half full due to your laziness. I cringe thinking how ineffective they must be with the mobile orders........ read more

This starbucks is great. Always very efficient and the best staff. They all stand above the rest but by far the best guy is Evan. He knows his customers by name and remembers my drink anytime I go in there. He has even chased me out the door to tell me my drink wasn't made right and that he'd remake it right away!
