I did mobile order ahead of time and I'm glad I did, the parking lot was small and the drive thru line was long. We had to park in the lot next door and it wasn't super easy getting into the lot either. BUT the staff was super friendly, the store was clean, my drink was perfect and ready when I arrived. Just your clean, friendly Starbucks. I know not every business in a chain is the same, but in this case I felt like this was your average Starbucks. It's clean, there is a good amount of seating both inside and outside, and the workers are friendly and efficient. When I was pregnant I avoided caffeine so I really just needed somewhere to sit for an hour and work. This was the Starbucks closest to my event and I don't feel bad popping a squat and taking up a table in a Starbucks for an hour or more. I tried the egg white sous vide bites and a siggis yogurt. Neither blew me away, but they did the job of giving me a healthy snack. I actually didn't realize that you get two egg white bites with the order. For $4.45 it's a little expensive, especially since I actually own a sous vide so I could probably make these at home, but I am happy that they have a protein heavy option so I didn't have to eat carb. Even their protein box has carbs in the form of baked goods and fruit! Overall, this place gave me exactly what I needed, protein and a place to work. That's why I'm a fan. read more

In one of my drinks there was a hair in one of drinks I got, he was half way drinking it when he saw a string of hair in it, it cut us off guard since they are always clean in there but the hair was in there. I was greeted upon entry, and my order mistake (my own fault) that I made at a separate location was amended free of charge at first request. The partners working genuinely tried to make conversation with me as I waited, and were lovely and competent. I haven't been to the inside of this Starbucks because of everything going on right now, and the drive-through line is insane I don't like it at all, but I can't dock them a star for that. The service has always been stellar, and the tea I've been getting from here has been made really well each time super happy. I won't speak on the coffee here as I have not had it at this location and some Starbucks make the drinks really well and some do not at all. The Starbucks on Manatee Ave by the Riverwalk is pretty awesome! The employees (majority) that work there have been amazing and SO Sweet! The young man with the green hair is absolutely on point worker, so kind. The young girl (Ana?) is the absolute sweetest! She is always smiling and so chatty with every single person that comes in. This is the only Starbucks that made me pay to fix my ice coffee. Usually I order an iced coffee with cream&sugar and it comes out perfect. Let me start by saying I LOVE STARBUCKS. However this location today was so disappointing. They couldn't figure out how to enter my order. I didn't order anything complicated. My order was an Iced Venti Mocha Macchiato with coconut milk. I am LACTOSE intolerant. Got that squared away. Get up to the window and they hand me a grande. They remake my drink, which is great. I pull away. I get to work I am halfway through my drink which was ok. It had a ton of caramel in it which I said not to do and I didn't notice that they remade it with MILK. There was so much caramel and mocha that I didn't notice until my stomach started twisting in pain!!!! When someone orders a drink with MILK ALTERNATIVE there is a reason. If I had done something offensive, I was not aware but scowls and curt manners of the female staff sure gave the impression of acrimonious feels for an unknown reason. They did have a flooded floor maybe they were irritated dealing with that. Terrible customer service, don't go to this one if you have a choice. I placed a Mobil order at 10:54 the app said it would be ready at 11:05. When I got there to pick it up I waited by the pick up area. I didn't see my drink or sandwich so I just stood there and waited. No one acknowledged my presence, it was truly like I was invisible. I saw them working on drinks however none of them where getting placed at the pick up area. After waiting 10mins and not seeing my drink or food I walked back to the order area. At this point 2 employees said the would be with me in a minute. I was there 5mins before I got to speak to someone. At this point I asked for my Mobil order that was placed 20mins ago. They directed me back to the pick up area. I said I've been standing there for 10mins and no one acknowledged me. The barista walked down there and said " oh here is your drink, it been just sitting here." It was behind all the plexy glass and equipment where I couldn't see it or just grab it and go. He offered to rewarm my sandwich since it was now cold from sitting there for 15mins. I walked back down to the order area where the blonde barista that was working the sandwich area said "no we can't rewarm that it will over cook it and it won't be good." So I asked for a new one. She said no and said it was my fault for not picking up sooner. So I argued for another couple of minutes. The stare down and attitude from this employee is unacceptable. I understand they are busy and short staffed which is why I did wait so long before making a scene. They should have been apologizing for ignoring me and been happy to remake my food since it was their fault for ignoring instead they were blaming me as if any of this situation was my fault. read more

I know there are a lot of Starbucks around sarasota and bradenton now. This one has some of the nicest baristas by far. I come here all the time on my way home from work,so I always do the drive thru. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. The drinks are always made great and the service is speedy. I have been here to stay for awhile as well and the inside is always clean and cozy. The only thing that wouldn't be 5 stars is sometime they have the delivery truck parked on the side and it makes it a little cramped getting out of the drive thru.
