I came here and ordered the "Fireworks Frappacino" via the mobile app. It only took a few minutes to receive my order and the staff member kindly informed me that my order was ready. I sat down for about 20 minutes to enjoy my beverage. There's a decent amount of seating located inside as well as outlets. Before heading to Nene's we had to check some emails and do some work so stopped into this Starbucks. Ordered a few ice drinks. I have to say the iced drinks are pretty nice though boy they are a bit pricey. There's a cool couch here for seating but a bunch of other tables and seats available. I believe the washrooms required a lock code to get in case you were interested in using it. I think I saw somebody walk off with a roll of toilet paper when I was writing up an email! A nice cozy spot to get away from the rain. The seating was a little unconventional -- they had a few different spots to sit but was still limited. The drinks were really great. Adding vanilla sweet cream to anything makes a difference. The employees were nice and polite but we had to wait a little for our drinks even though it wasn't as busy when we ordered. read more

I had to walk out. This location is a hot mess. Today at 9:45 am they were blasting heavy metal music, 1/3 the seating taken up by people eating food they brought in. It's near a soup kitchen (I volunteer there) and people are brining in food they get there and sitting. Horrible atmosphere. Service not up to what Starbucks did. My regular order has gone from $8.50 to $11.87 in 18 months. I'm out. read more

Visiting this location as a stop fir drinks when I go to restaurants in the area or to acupuncture in Gowanus. The staff is always chipper, drinks are always correct and ready when I arrive. Comparing the experiences before the pandemic and now, it seems as if the service here is even better, which is a welcomed gesture during this tough time. We just moved into the neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised with the new Starbucks. Normally we fight tooth and nail to get our coffees in Washington heights. Place our order 15 min before and still end up waiting 10-15 more once we get in. Now, if we need a morning coffee (who are we kidding with the "if"), we order it in our apartment and it is waiting for us to pick up before jumping in the subway. The space is great. Clean with a lot of places to sit if you are so inclined. All of the staff we've interacted with are very kind and attentive. Comparing the two locations is like night and day. Work's Starbucks is crowded small and understaffed for the volume that it is dealing with. I'm very happy to change my morning routine and buy here instead. read more

Wonderful, clean establishment right next to the subway. Only feedback is that the mobile pick up is not as efficient as the 11th street location where they put out on the counter the finished drinks. That way customers can look and see and pick up. Instead here have to wait for a busy barista to take time to come over and read out names or have to bother them about whether order is ready. read more

Nice location, but they blast the music way too loud for a Starbucks. I was just trying to relax with a coffee before a morning subway ride and had to leave because even after asking them to turn it down twice, the speakers were still blaring way too loud for any kind of relaxation. And we are back with another Yelp review I like this Starbucks it isn't as crowded as I thought it would be, they have pluggers to charge your phone or Mac book like in my case. I needed to charge my Mac and thankfully Starbucks helped me out in that, they have plenty of chairs and me and my boyfriend bought the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Venti Frap and it tastes really good! This Starbucks is near my job, and the staff is always lovely. However, as another reviewer pointed out, the music is always Way Too Loud. At 1:00 on a weekday, people just want a place where they can have a chill mid-day break...it's not a bar or a club. sometimes it's too loud to even browse my phone. I've actually left with a headache a few times, and find that I'm going in less and less often-which is a shame. read more

This is one of the best Starbucks I've ever seen. It has all the basics for a good location: clean, spacious, has plenty of outlets, etc. But this one is even better, because it has plenty of natural light, very friendly staff, and even free samples. It's probably a small to medium sized Starbucks with about 25 seats. Plays music loudly like any other Starbucks. Has one clean bathroom.

I'll admit I wasn't thrilled to see a Starbucks opening in the neighborhood as we have a lot of great local coffee spots. But when it's 5am on Saturday and you need to start your day, the alternative is a 24 hour deli and they can be hit or miss for a cup of coffee. Service was good (I just got a drip coffee) and another customer already set up shop with what looked like a warm breakfast sandwich so appears they have employees willing to work right away. read more
