The place is pretty cozy, and has a nice relaxing feel thanks to the living room shelves and plants. There is a large table, some bar seating, and scouple of small tables. Staff are friendly. Looks like a mom (no pop) place. Coffee here seemed a bit watered down. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. They also sell some basic sandwiches and drinks. Not sure how fresh the stuff is. The person behind the counter let me know that it was more of a superfood thing, so I was going to pick something else entirely but they offered to make me a matcha latte with coconut milk if I wanted a similar flavour profile. I really appreciated this attention to detail! And the latte turned out sooooo good :) Another item I'd recommend for summer is their affogato!

The 0.5 docked from 4 stars would be because I was severely underwhelmed by the hot chocolate, not only it was scalding hot when I got it but it wasn't super rich or flavourful (a bit watered down to me). However, I would come back to try more pastries! I've had their cannolis previously and enjoyed them but this time, the limoncello puff blew me away! There was a spectacular amount of cream inside and it had a rich tartness unlike a regular lemon pastry (what I can assume is what limoncello tastes like despite having never had it before). The light glaze on top was sweet to balance the tart and it definitely has to be my new favourite cream puff in town
