I've spent time at this Starbucks in the past, but my mother and I stopped in this Starbucks earlier today, Easter Sunday. I stuck with one of my tried and true orders, a hot peppermint mocha, while my mother tried one of the new items. Well, when she really didn't care for it, Patrick the store manager, not only made her a replacement beverage, but assured her that he wanted her to be happy with her drink and if they meant him making another for her, he would. i waited for over 15 min for my mobile order drinks to be ready. Not one worker asked me what i was waiting on they preferred to just stare at me as i stared back at them. they messed up 3 other customers orders in the 15 min that i was waiting. they didnt even have the common sense to put the name stickers facing outwards so that customers dont have to touch other peoples drinks since we are going through a pandemic. i finally was done with waiting and looked at the cups to find out that my order under the name madeline was put with someone elses order named carla so please explain to me how carla and madeline are the same name. the idiots working couldnt even give me an explanation on how dumb they are. read more

I order from this starbucks as it's in a very convenient location for me. I just about order the same drink every time I go, through my app or my friend will buy me a drink. Very Berry Hibiscus Lemonade - the lemonade is left out nearly every time. If i'm there, I'll take a sip before I leave but it's frustrating when someone else offers to get this drink for you and it's wrong. This location sucks. The majority of the staff here (there are two particular people who are GREAT) are miserable working there and express their distaste in their career choice by giving an attitude to seemingly all customers who aren't regulars. This attitude of course, is extended to me and my girlfriend as well all the time. A particular team member, who I believe is named Tom, an old white guy with glasses seems to writhe at my presence in his vicinity at the counter, ruining his quality of life - and easily lets me know in a condescending tone that despite my smile and greeting I put on as a normal functioning person, that he wants me to order my shit and get out of his face. I seem to get the same behavior from another older woman, probably in her sixties with glasses who works at this location as well - however I seem to get slightly better results when barking my order at them like they're dogs. They seem to not want to give you any time of the day unless you know exactly what you're getting, and speaking it in a loud, authoritative tone. With that being said, the drinks here are top quality and they listen intently to your drink customizations. Maybe if whoever is working the counter were prescribed mood stabilizers, the experience during the first half of every visit wouldn't be so abysmal. read more

I am writing to inform my fellow Starbuck's customers about an experience I had last week at their location in Carmel, NY on Route 6. As usual, I stop by this location in the late afternoon for a cup of coffee. On this particular date, I was short on cash so ordered a small eggnog latte. The tab came to $4.61, but I only had $4.60. The douche by the name of Harris, wouldn't allow me a pass on not having the penny , and wouldn't sell me the coffee without the penny. So I ended up charging the $4.61 to my credit card. Not one to pass up an opportunity in the interest of customer service I asked another employee the corporate store #, and Starbuck's corporate customer service #. Once connected to Starbuck's customer care center, which did not take long, I explained my situation. They were more than taken aback, and almost fainted. I explained I was not looking for any compensation, etc., just wanted to let them know what kind of asshole they had working at their store. In summary they showered me in Starbuck gift certificates, and were more than happy that I brought this situation to their attention. So next time you visit Starbuck's in Carmel, NY make sure you ask for Harris. His rudeness may even bring you good fortune in gift certificates. HDK read more

My sister who struggles with anxiety and other issues went to this location and was treated so terribly by two male workers who laughed at her and also said "finally a normal fucking order" after someone ordered after her. They also walked away from her while she asked for change and then told her to use her card instead. Extremely unhappy with the service at this location. I used the mobile app to order a Strawberry açaí drink. I got the notification the drink was ready and showed up to an EMPTY CUP!!!! The guy told me he could make me a different drink or refund me, I told him to refund me. The whole point of using the mobil app is to SKIP the lines. Why would I order a different drink and wait for it to be made when I ordered ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait. On top of that, NOBODY had the decency to notify me that they couldn't make the drink I ordered and when I called regarding this they claimed they did when I literally only got the notification that my drink was "ready", well it sure was because it was only an empty cup!!! I now have to drive all the way back to Carmel, where I do NOT live, just to get my money back. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Great Starbucks location and great employees. Always feel welcome and comfortable, and it has been a big help on my way home from overnight shifts nearby. My order has almost always been correct and prepared quickly. Mobile is best when it especially busy because if your waiting in line it could take awhile. But that's any Starbucks these days. I generally go to the Starbucks in Yorktown heights but I was closer to this location today. I want you to keep in mind that I NEVER make negative yelp reviews and I do not complain often. I noticed the time was 9:20 but seeing as though the store closes at 10 I knew it would be more than enough time to enjoy a latte with my friend. Once we ordered our drinks with the barista the employees were being rude and making snarky remarks regarding the time and the store closing. As we were sitting there drinking the latte it was 9:53 pm and the employees were making us feel uncomfortable and rushing us. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Heard about the Cold Buster on CBS where they stated this drink -designed to help with colds and sore throat's-was available at Starbucks by asking for it off their "secret menu". I called the local Starbucks to pre-order one. I was dressed down by the young lady when I asked for it. First she asked me for the recipe. I told her it was on the Starbucks website and secret menu. She told me she knew nothing about it. I was a little surprised that she would not be proactive and go to her own cell phone and Google it which anyone can do from any Internet connected device. It's located in a small little strip mall in Carmel and seems to have steady traffic, but otherwise seems to be on the quiet side. I can say that as someone who is constantly sleep deprived, I have been to numerous Starbucks locations, but this one has to be one of my favorites. I have never gone in there and had bad service. Their staff is nice, and they make my order the best out of the three local Starbucks'. This is perfect for someone who doesn't get much sleep and needs coffee 24/7. When I Drink my coffee I need it to hit the spot and they do that perfectly. So thank you Starbucks, for keeping me from falling asleep while I do the boat loads of homework I have.
