Usually this place is slammed, especially between 7-8 AM when I typically drive by. However, it was pretty chill when we stopped by for some kid fruit smoothies, an Americano, and an oat milk latte. There were about 4 cars in line but we had our drinks in less than 10 minutes. There is also a few tables and a walk up window at this location. The Americano was interesting. I asked for sugar free vanilla syrup and they loaded it up. Tasted more like artificial syrup than coffee. I think people come here for the sugar filled sodas and teas, and maybe not for a great cup of coffee. Nonetheless, the service was still good and we got what we asked for. The latte was better and the kids smoothies were a great value. They also hooked us up with these awesome buttons (pictured)! Overall a great experience. I'm not sure if this is typical for Dutch bros as I said, I'm not a regular, but we were very disappointed. One barista was friendly enough, but the other didn't seem very pleasant and appeared to be running late, rushing in just before my mom and I walked in. Not the welcoming I had hoped for. The bagel sandwiches were just as good as I remembered, but the coffee was just okay. The flavor was a little dull and tasted more like cream and sugar than coffee. The shop is still nice and clean, but it doesn't feel like the cozy place I usually look for in a small coffee shop. I'm definitely bummed because I visit this area from SoCal often, and this used to be one of my favorite spots.

I saw pics of celebrities like Terrance Howard and Jeremy Renner sitting on the quaint little bar stools inside. Roasting House has officially entered the coffee chat room! On my first visit, I saw that the Iced Brew special was Carrot Cake. Um? Only my favorite cake! I had the best timing and hit the jackpot! Of course that's what I ordered. It was delicious! The decor is absolutely adorable. It's like a beautiful Victorian feel to it. It has beautiful furniture, pictures on the wall, and they have coffee, jewelry for sale and other items. Additionally, they roast their coffee beans on-site with a large vintage roasting machine towards the back of the shop. The place definitely has an elegant, antique-like ambience that fits perfectly with VC. They also serve various baked goods, bagel sandwiches and other breakfast items. I hope they'll continue expanding their menu in the future. They occasionally offer drink specials, and I always enjoy trying them.
