I come to this starbucks almost every morning and get a coffee. but today this new girl was there "Pamela". I had one of the worst experiences i've ever had in starbucks. the employee that took my order, pamela, was extremely rude from the start. glaring at me, giving me attitude, and she didn't even give me my change back. but the part that completely crossed the line: while talking to another employee who was making my drink, Pamela stuck her finger into my drink, licked her finger, and tasted it. I watched it happen. That is a major health and sanitation violation. i was shocked and disgusted. This location seriously needs to address this behavior because it's unacceptable and unsafe. i've never had an issue until a new girl shows up and thinks it's okay to try my drink and then give it to me. read more

I went here every morning and afternoon for my black tea and iced matcha and protein box. I have frequented thousands of Starbucks in 7 states or more. This staff is THE BOMB. This Starbucks looks like it considered social distancing/Covid-practice enforcing and then gave up halfway. There aren't very clear markers on the floor for people in line to stand. Luckily people were distancing themselves. The tables/chairs are moved out of the way and there is plexiglass at the counter, however the male barista who was making drinks was wearing his mask under his nose. Pandemic aside, this Starbucks was understaffed and disorganized. There was a line waiting for drinks and to order, and only one cashier and one person making drinks. There's a Starbucks in the Safeway in the same lot, so you may have better luck there. read more

Went in today and saw their prices are still ridicules for what you get. I just got a small regular coffee. Still can't fix it yourself. So I had to keep going back for more sugar packets the coffee was so bitter. Six packets later the coffee was still awful, so bitter I threw it out. read more

What a disappointment. Management fails here currently. worse than the limited POSTED hours, they are closing 4+ hours before the posted updated pandemic hours. I'm pregnant and walk in, knowing Starbucks is my safe stop for a restroom and a white tea. I was rudely scolded "You know there's a pandemic, we can't have bathrooms open!" Humiliated and now physically in pain, about to wet myself, I scurry across the parking lot to the Safeway to find some relief and a safe place. Standing in line at that Safeway Starbucks, I was told by the three line customers that this location is well known for poor service, and the same experience I just encountered. Hey lots of bad reviews but our experience was just fine. Prompt service, good coffee, clean toilets. We have been stopping at the Olympia Starbucks near st martins but the new and improved version is more crowded, much more traffic and , if headed south, a big pain to actually find, park and get back on the freeway. You can not count on this Starbucks being open during their advertised business hours. I drive between Portland and Seattle on a weekly basis and this is the third time in a couple of months that the store has been closed at least ten minutes early. A kid sitting outside the door warned us that it was "really busy in there, like really, really busy!" I think there were about 3-4 people. Apparently he was not from Seattle where a line of 10 is normal. I disgress, the girl had to ask me how to make my coffee. Barista training FAIL! Still, she was helpful in helping my non-caffeine consuming companion pick out a beverage to suit. Oh! But I went to the bathroom here and the bathroom was kinda icky. I give this starbucks one star for their consistency in products, but their staff is far from friendly. I'm used to the more up beat staff who actually look like they're making an effort to work aside from one of the girls there. I could describe most of their female staff as pretentious, snooty, and inconsiderate which doesn't qualify for good customer service. I was very polite in saying please after my order requests, said thank you when I was handed my items, and I was greeted with a response of silence. I'm not sure if they frequently get not so nice customers, and maybe that's why their so off putting and bitter, but still not acceptable in my book. I stopped by this starbucks this morning around 11:50am and I walked out around 11:53am. There was a full staff behind the bar and yet the line did not move an inch. This is my third experience here within the last month and the survey says that the service is slower than a slug. 54 dollars in lattes under one order. They made a mistake by giving me a green tea latte instead of gingerbread Bc they changed baristas half way through completing the making of my order. The vet tech who the latte was for was unimpressed by the green surprise she got when trying to enjoy a gingerbread latte. I returned the drink after my call to the veterinarians office and all they did was make the drink correctly...no "have a drink on us" coupon or anything. Really the worst service I have ever experienced. I actually love Starbucks and frequent locations in Seattle and Portland whenever I can. But when I am in Centralia, I make sure to go without. The barista who made my beverage got angry after I politely told her that she had made my drink wrong, and then she proceeded to make it wrong again with a very rude look on her face. The place was pretty much empty and the staff was still short and unfriendly. They also rang up my drink wrong and charged me for 1 too many shots when I tried to point it out to her without being rude she just made excuses about how different places cost different amounts. I get that, but when it's exactly the amount of an added shot you'd think she'd double check. Then they also made my drink wrong. I get the same drink twice a day everyday so I know what my drink tastes like. Not only that but when my drink was done the barista rudely told me that I could grab a straw on my way out the door instead of just telling me they were on the condiment bar. Terrible service!! Passing thru on my way to Oregon And I remembered there was a Starbucks off this exit so I stopped to get my usual. I had stopped here a couple months prior and did not have a good experience so I was apprehensive about going here again. Contemplating waiting till I saw another sign for Starbucks. However I decided to give them a second chance. I get up to the ordering spot and I had to repeat my drink order 3 times. Immediately I'm like great, not again. I Get my drink and I could tell it's the wrong right off the bat based on the coloring. It was a mocha frap instead of a Carmel. I pull out of the drive thru so I'm Not holding up their line and I proceed to park. I taste the drink anyways to see if it's something I can live with so I don't have to be a pest. However it was horrible and I couldn't wrap my head around paying $5 bucks for a drink that was A. Wrong and B. Nasty. So I went inside to ask for a remake. The guy seemed annoyed with my request but too bad. I work hard for my money and at $5 a pop I should have the drink I ordered and it should taste right. I waited 8 minutes for my remake and it was still horrible. Instead of complaining I just left as now I was running late for my work thing. I wouldn't recommend anyone stopping here. This is the only Starbucks I've been to that has no idea how to make coffee. Every single time I've been here they either make my drink less strong than I pay for, or completely mess up my order. The customer service of some baristas is awful, they are uneducated on coffee and how to prepare it and they either are rude in the morning or just flat out have an attitude that make me go to the starbucks next door at safeway which has excellent customer service. I will be going there from now on. There is a reason this Starbucks has two stars. read more
