Friendly service, and great coffee. Not overly crowded like most other Starbucks. I especially appreciated the staff holding on to my wallet that I accidentally dropped outside of their shop. Shout out to Kashondra for going out of her way to contact me and make sure that I got my wallet back! So, this review isn't for starbucks in general - it's for this specific one. I come here with coworkers pretty often when it's nice out for a post midday caffeine fix. It's frustrating whenever we go here because they NEVER take names and you don't know when your drink is ready as there is always a line and there's always 10 people waiting for their drinks. Drinks are never bad but you always grab the wrong one. There are definitely better coffee shops in the area. read more

I've tried several times to get the stellar service that I'm used to from Starbucks at this location...it just ain't happening! Walk in, call in, I find the service to be extremely slow, and my drinks have been served VERY sloppily. There has been no attention to detail as it seems my drinks are often thrown in a cup (I paid particular attention this morning) and spilling over. I don't know what else to do after speaking to the staff and management except to go 2 blocks out of my way (that's funny all by itself ) to another Starbucks. NEXT! read more

I am a Starbucks addict. THIS IS THE WORST STARBUCKS EVER! The staff is awful, I go here daily, as does everyone from my office and at least once a day, usually more than once, they screw up our order. There has not been one day that they get my , or my colleagues coffee order correct. EVER. There is this one older guy who works there who is a TOTAL A HOLE! He screwed up one day and went off on me over it, and I was there meeting a client, I was appalled, I haven't had time to call the DM but I will be soon. I would love to give this location 4 stars, but the friendliness of the staff here is so random! Sometimes I go in (I work down the street so I go in at least 3 times a week) and I'm greeted right away and other times I have to wait 3-5 minutes to have someone even look in my direction. For $3.50 (minimum for a latte) the service should be more consistent. read more

Used to be good, but I had some bad experiences and this morning just sealed the deal - I will not go back. I ordered a hot green tea, I stood there and then finally asked the kid who helped me, who said "you get it over there" (pointing to barrista) so I stood there and then the barrista called an iced green tea, when I said I had ordered a hot green tea she said "they give it to you at the register, they probably called it and you weren't paying attention". The lady at the register tells me the tea is there at the register and I get to the office to find I have a hot black tea. I understand you are busy and I understand mistakes but you lose me when you tell me it's my fault for not paying attention. read more

what an amazing place to be at... the coffee is sooo heart warming and leaves you smiling with each sip. Great local joint to hangout with buddies for a quick drink and talk about stocks and the arts.... My one buddy called it life changing ... This Starbucks is conveniently located near Firecakes on Hubbard, so one can pick up a doughnut and then a drip coffee from Starbucks. Firecakes has drip coffee, but no seating area. I came to Starbucks on a Saturday evening and found the cafe was empty. I was surprised because of the prime location, but this means I was able to get a table near the window and could people-watch while enjoying a drink. read more

interesting architecture, friendly service and nice seats. I was happy to hear the background music wasn't very loud. So far so good. Now the bad: I purchased an Odwalla drink that was out of date, and they didn't remove the others that were also out of date. They did let me replace it. The bathroom was in an awful condition. There was littler, dirt, and the toilet tank cover didn't match! I expected better than this from Starbucks. read more

This place is always jam packed in the morning when I come in but I never have to wait in line long. The cashiers do a fantastic job in moving people along and getting orders taken care of quickly. The only reason that I am not giving the fifth star here is because when drinks are handed off it is a little confusing. If you're asking for my name when I order, shouldn't you call my name when my drink is ready rather than shouting the order multiple times and having multiple people try and pick up said drink.. Honestly that is the only grievance I have. These employees are fantastic and you can tell that they have fun with their work! read more

I've been coming here every morning for about 3 weeks now. The lady at the register is always on her phone when I walk towards the register, I have to wait for her to finish whatever she is doing so she can take my order. Even then, she has an attitude and seems bothered. I wish I knew her name so I could write it here. Today she placed my drink on the pick up counter carelessly and it knocked over. At this point, I will never come back to this Starbucks thanks to her. I would rather walk an additional 10 minutes to another Starbucks to avoid this type of service. Maybe she should stop working the AM shift and work PM's. read more

morons!.. the staff here pays no attention and literally hears what they want to hear regarding orders. 3 tall coffees, two of them with soy milk became three grande red -eyes with a shot of hazelnet. it's like that SNL skit where Marcia becomes Amorfa... shar shar.. only i'd rather be the butt of an SNL skit than be served sub-par coffee by these muppets.. the guy then uses my debit card to scratch his forehead.. so i'm going to have to spray it with purel to get his forehead lard off my coffee.. i wish this place would burn down and get replaced by an intelligentsia.. read more

Yes, they are nice, but they need to wipe their tables more often! So sticky and gross.

When possible, avoid this Starbucks in favor of the Merchandise Mart location three minutes away. In comparison to Merchandise Mart, this location is slower and the staff more error prone. read more
