    Huge spacious Starbucks seating area.

Starbucks food is Starbucks food. Nothing wrong with it. Service is quick and easy! Food and drinks out in less than 5 minutes, this may be due to location or volume in this store but still, great efficiency! Ambiance is very much aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The way the sun hits the interior works well with how everything is set up. The interior colors are warm and cozy. Nice layout and spacing of the furnitures. Wish we had Starbucks like this near our colleges. Cute date spot as well. Shoutout I5 for having a nice Starbucks like this for a quick break during a long roadtrip. Will always stop by this one moving forward! Bookmarked!

4/19/25 2 black iced teas ordered in drive-thru ordered with Stevia. Moved quickly and worker was nice! Paid for order and wished a good day! Great Black iced tea and mother really enjoyed hers! Great service too! Highly recommended!

I mean, usually a Starbucks is a Starbucks. But this one is a great spot on the drive between SF/LA. Clean, spacious, and fast.

4 stars for ambiance and ample space to rest or stretch. First off, yes, it's busy, but the bathrooms here are clean and there's more than one. There is plenty of space to walk around and stretch your legs. If you want to sit down, you can bring your charger and charge your phone. They have outlets in every corner of the room. The line is long and we had to wait a few minutes for our order but we didn't mind. The employees were NOT "Starbucks friendly people" and they aren't wearing black either, but maybe because this is a quick stop for most people.

For such a busy Starbucks location on the middle of I5, the drinks, the cafe ambiance and the customer service was fantastic. They let me customize my order without rushing me and the order came out within 5-10min. It's also so neat and clean! Great place to work or take a break on your road trip :)

The cleanest Starbucks I have seen and the staff is super friendly and hospitable! A haven on the highway!

This is a really great Starbucks! It's right off of 5 and next to an Arco, so you have all your bases covered. There are plenty of stalls in the bathroom, and it's clean and well stocked! The Starbucks itself is huge with lots of seating. They get through the line fairly quickly, and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. None of us ordered any complicated drinks, so they were perfect. Definitely a good stop to make on your next road trip.

Nice stop when traveling the Los Angeles, San Francisco I-5 corridor. Lots of seating options in an expansive space. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

Literally an oasis in the desert. No really, there's no metaphorical embellishment here: Coalinga needs more mainstream food and beverage establishments and this Starbucks is a very welcome addition. Previously, to get decent coffee one would have to trek to "downtown" Coalinga proper. Now, that's changed for passersby. Its location is strategic and about time; right off the i5 about halfway between SF and LA. It's near Harris Ranch which, like it or not, has EV charging stations galore (just don't buy gas near the 198 and i5 it's pricier than you'd imagine). Aside from quenching the thirst of a much needed coffee drinker, Starbucks here on Dorris in Coalinga is notch above most others I have been to. This could be because it's newer and spacious inside--I'll be frequently visiting since I stay at Harris Ranch often. It's very clean. Bathrooms were clean and larger. The staff were friendly and drinks were within expectations. I really hope other businesses figure out this is a great spot to set up shop.

The bakery is part of the country store, which sells such random housewares and souvenir-type stuff. They have a chocolate truffle case on one side and the other side, the pastries and desserts. The pastries looked delicious and I got a few to try. They also have bags of day-old cookies for a good price. Eclair 4/5* I'm not a huge fan of eclairs with the soft fudge on top instead of the hardened chocolate. Taste wise though, it was a good eclair. The cream isn't overly sweet and the eclair itself was a light dough. Napoleon 5/5* If there's something Harris bakery does right, it's flaky pastries. Surprisingly, this Napoleon stayed crispy the entire drive home and survive even in the refrigerator the next day. Many others I've had usually get soggy, but these layers of puff pastry stayed crisp to the end of every last bite. The cream was fluffy and not too sweet, and paired perfectly with the ripe strawberries. Banana Cream Pie 3/5* I love anything banana and just had to get it when my eyes landed on the perfect swirl of whip cream covered in chunks of buttery crumbles, atop a neat little mini pie. However, the pie itself was too mushy. The crust was soggy, with the smoothness of the banana cream, soft banana slices, and rich whip cream, everything combined was too much mush. It was also too sweet. I did enjoy the crumble on top though. That was the only saving texture. Strawberry Cream Horn 5/5* Wow these were so unexpectedly delicious! The horn is super flaky and delicate, filled from end to end with a light strawberry cream. On top, bits of dehydrated strawberries were not only beautiful but added a nice tartness and texture, contrasting with the silky cream. This was a great upgrade on your classic cream horn. Chocolate Chip Cookies with Walnuts 3/5* Nothing special. They tasted better the longer they sat out because they were crisper. I prefer my cookies to have sea salt for that good balance of salty and sweet, but these cookies were just one noted. Next time, I have my eyes set on this towering cake they had on the counter and of course, take home some of those yummy cream horns.

Highly disappointing to see the Country Store as of late…read more We have been going to Harris Ranch for as long as I can remember and I am 52 years old. It feels like our home away from home as we go back and forth from Northern California and to visit our family in Orange County. We always LOVED seeing the store and its unique gifts that filled the entire place. For some time, there looks to be maybe a quarter of what they used to have. So sad... I used to come and find a lot of my Christmas gifts for people during the holidays. This past Christmas, I went in and the place looked desolate. I was confused and wondered if I missed it all? I don't know if Harris Ranch is not doing well, but it really looks like they're struggling if you look at the empty feel of the store. We just left the shop now on our way back down to Southern California and once again shocked and highly disappointment. It was bad.. I really hope that whatever happening there gets better so that the store can return to the gorgeous shop that it once was.

Review for the resort and the restaurant incoming!…read more Stayed with the family for a night on our way to Southern California as we were in need of respite after crushing Bay Area traffic. The room was very clean, and solidly appointed for the price (under $200 with AAA discount). In the morning we took a swim in their gorgeous swimming pool. It was an early morning because he had to get back on the road. But, if I were to linger it would be right next to that pool or that awesome horse shoe bar across the lot at the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome. I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was a very tender piece of tenderized steak and the gravy was lights out $29.95. Kids had the "little cowpoke" which was a pancake, bacon slice and an egg for $8.95. The pancake was tasty and the bacon was a large cut (I had to get my Dad tax in). Only downside was the avocado toast (but who would order that at a roadside cow restaurant?) My wife would! HA! It was $18.95 and she felt like she was being punished as it was just a single slice of bread with avocado and two poached eggs. She was really hoping for a larger portion for the price. Overall, it was a really solid 5/5 experience. We left something in the room accidentally and the front desk called us before we even noticed. They said they'd take care of it and we will cruise by on the way home to grab it. Really awesome customer service. For a resort in the middle of nowhere I get no real complaints. I mean it smells like poop outside but there's like a million head of cattle down the road so that makes sense. Also, no foul smells in the hotel or restaurant. They do a good job keeping it out.

Eventually, I went in and asked for a refund because 30 minutes is too long to wait for a drive-thru order from a "fast food" establishment. Today, there was literally no one in the drive-thru line, so we figured it would be okay since it's the only place to stop. Also, I hopped out of the car to run inside to use the restroom and there was hardly anyone inside either. Well, we were wrong. Same story. Went through the drive-thru and were told to wait at spot number 1 for our order. After 10 minutes, and after 2 other cars parked next to us got their orders and left, we figured we should go ask for an update on our order. They claimed they had already given us our order already, which was curious since we didn't have it. They gave our order to another car parked in a different numbered spot. They didn't apologize at any point for the mistake. We asked for a refund and left. It's really unfortunate because McDonald's breakfast might be the only fast food indulgence I'll allow myself while on a roadtrip.Their fresh hot hashbrown are my favorite but after experiences like this, it's highly unlikely I'll return.

Our food actually came out pretty decent. It was hot, tasted fresh, and was put together better than I expected considering how busy it was. The kitchen seemed to be holding it together. But the front of the store? That was rough. The dining area looked like it had been hit by a hurricane. Tables weren't cleaned, trash was building up, and the straw/soda station was sticky and messy. There were a lot of people standing around trying to order. The manager was loudly telling customers they wouldn't be served for a while and should just use the kiosks. That didn't exactly calm the crowd. There was confusion, frustration, and a pretty tense atmosphere overall. Bottom line -- good food and an easy app experience, but the front-of-house operations and cleanliness need serious attention. With better organization and some basic cleaning, this place could be a lot better.
