Right off the freeway, in the middle of nowhere, I hadn't expected much of this Starbucks, but there it sat in the middle of nowhere, a grand oasis. The restrooms were sparkling clean with many stalls--even the urinal, I am told, had it's own stall. The dining area was spacious and pretty. All the tables were still forbidden for now, but I imagine that they would by relaxing to sit at with my family for a quick caffeine break on our way to SoCal. The staff was friendly, and they made my Caramel Macchiato smooth and unburnt tasting, which has not been a trend for the last several times I've ordered that drink. We usually wait until Tejon Ranch to take a break, when we would be tired and anxious to get the drive over with, but stopping here made the drive go by more quickly. And there's a McDonald's conveniently located on the way back to the freeway for a Happy Meal for the littles! A win for all! read more

One of the better Starbucks I've been to in a long time. First of all there's plenty of outdoor seating second of all there's tons of parking and third of all the drive-through doesn't have a crazy long line. At least not at lunchtime on the Sunday I was there. Bathrooms? Yes! Ladies and gentlemen, separate bathrooms, plenty of stalls and sinks and hand dryers. Definitely a cut above your typical Starbucks bathroom. Some of the landscaping needed weed pulling and general trash picking up but I would give this place five stars and go out of my way on my typical 5 freeway Dr. to stop here. Came here looking to get egg bites 5 min before they closed. The bartista took the two cars in front of us order. Once it was our turn, hence no other car behind us. She decided to close and refused to assist us. Had the car in front of us not taken so long to place their order, we would have been able to place our order. This place is such a safe haven! It's huge, always super clean, with plenty of bathroom stalls and places to sit. It's right off the freeway so I always find myself stopping here on my long drives from Norcal to Socal (and vice versa) for coffee and a break. Stopped here on a road trip and ordered an ice coffee with oat milk. The milk was clumpy and settled on the bottom. I went up to the counter to ask if it was suppose to be like that. The barista Valerie looked at me looking clueless and asked "Do you need something?" (While she is standing a good 30 feet away from me--she didn't bother to walk to the counter where I was). I asked her if the oat milk was suppose to look like that and she stared at it and said "I guess so... yeah it's suppose to look like that". Then she offered to make a new one after me telling her that I've never gotten an iced coffee where the milk looks like it's coagulated. I got my new drink with soy milk instead this time. I would not come back here for 2 reasons: 1. Their customer service is horrible. I've never experienced customer service like this at any Starbucks. Valerie either hates her job or needs more training. 2. They don't quality check their drinks before giving them to customers. My iced coffee had lumpy milk settled on the bottom. We just left this Coalinga Starbucks right off Interstate 5 and neither if us are happy. My favorite is a coffee Frappuccino. I like the coffee because it's not overly sweet. But this one is sickening sweet and I can taste vanilla. They even made me a new one with an extra shot and it's still BLACH!!! The BF also doesn't like overly sweet so I was surprised when he ordered a Cafe mocha. But it's NOT sweet. And you can taste plain cocoa..you know, the bitter stuff you accidentally spooned straight into your mouth as a kid? BLACH! Quick stop at this newish Starbucks with a huge indoor seating area and a drive thru in Coalinga. Drink boards and food offerings are the standard. My drink wasn't made right despite the cashier asking me which was too bad. Luckily I am flexible as I didn't taste it till I was back on the road. Bathrooms have multi stalls and are pretty clean. The location has plenty of parking and easy in and out to I-5. We'd definitely stop in again and give it another try but I'd taste the drink before leaving next time read more

You will wait forever for your beverage at this location. If you do mobile app, none of the beverages will be made together. Instead, one will spit out and you will wait for half an hour before the next will come. Even if one out of four is Hot Water with a Tea Bag. There's a McDonald's and an Arco at this stop. If time matters, either will suffice. If the beverage matters, it will take less time to drive to the next Starbucks up the highway. read more

This was by far...the biggest Starbucks I have ever been too! Lol! It was huge! Sorry I didn't take pictures...I just woke up from a nap.. lol. The restrooms had like 8+ huge stalls, there's so many indoor and outdoor seating areas. It did take us a minute to find though. It's hidden behind all the gas stations...behind Baja Fresh! It was clean and all the staff were friendly. My kids were bummed that they didn't have their usual items tho. We need more starbucks like this! read more

When I checked in to see if my order was still in place, I was met with poor customer service. The people behind the counter continued to chat and giggle before they made my drink. I'm on a road trip, headed to L.A. and needed emergency caffeine. McDonalds coffee wasn't going to cut it. I made a pit stop at this Starbucks after fueling up at Chevron next door. There were literally 3 staff cleaning and wiping when I walked in. The place is spotless. I'm talking sparkling clean. Coronavirus stands no chance at this Starbucks location. As for my drinks... I got the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher and it did not disappoint. They didn't skimp on the berries and only 1 scoop of ice just as requested. I also ordered my faithful Nitro Cold Brew which I'll save for the final 70 miles which are brutally boring. I'm caffeinated and ready to go! read more

I've stopped at this Starbucks a few times in our travels back and forth from the Coast - and every time it has been a great experience. The place is always clean (especially the restrooms) and all the people that work there are have been nice and very pleasant to us. I don't judge a business by the way people look or if they are having a bad day now and then. We all have bad days - and judging a business by the way someone looks is a very immature way of thinking and expressing your thoughts. My drinks have always been what I have ordered - and people have to realize that in today's market - most places have to deal with what they are able to order when supplies are available. If something's not right, ask for another and explain why - don't be demanding on why it's not right - I'm sure they have to make them according to certain guidelines and measuring - so they actually may not know why something is not right. I actually feel sorry for that "perfect" person who likes to show shame and blame on someone's body figure and to use that as an excuse for a terrible and uncalled for review on a business - Please reread your review because you were showing the same attitude you blamed on the barista at the time - or were you having that bad day also? I was excited to see a new Starbucks open up at the Harris Ranch exit on the 5. It's a nice break from gas station or McDonald's coffee. The interior is massive and has much more of a lounge vibe than most other Starbucks. Sitting here, there is no way you can feel cramped because the chairs are far apart, and because the chairs are cushioned, they are much, much more comfortable. Everything was squeaky clean, and the service was very friendly, but also bored. There was a total of five customers who came in, and the baristas looked desperate to help somebody. I knew this Starbucks would be disgusting before I even walked in. It's 7:30 and there are smeared fingerprints all over the glass door. The bathrooms just as filthy. Yuck. And the icing on the cake...not a single employee wearing gloves. All three of the employees working are pouring drinks and making sandwiches. I've seen them touch multiple surfaces.
