They were quick with the order when even ordering in person. Both employees were friendly and attentive to detail. I ordered a blonde roast and they even asked to make sure it was okay to have a Christmas blend. Honestly it's been awhile since I was willing to review a Starbucks since it's nothing out of the ordinary. I love this location! Yes, for the coffee, the pastries, and the breakfast sandwiches. But I especially love it today because I sometimes get the wrong cookie crumble at the other Starbucks, and I wondered if I had forgotten the drink's name because it would be more of a mocha. But today, the nice girl behind the counter asked if I wanted the mocha or caramel. Then it hit me: it comes in two different flavors. She saw the ah moment on my face and smiled, explaining that it actually comes in two flavors. I thought, by golly, that was the sweetest thing. She could have been like the rest and didnt care which one I ordered since I didnt say which flavor because I honestly did not know it came in two flavors. But nope, she was not like the other ones. Now, another reason I like this one is that it sits right in the middle of a huge walkway surrounded by stores. I can sit here, have my coffee, relax, and people-watch! Line is always pretty long here and it's your typical Starbucks location in most malls. I went here to grab a matcha frappuccino while shopping here @ HPO and saw that Smoothie King was closed until further notice. The wait is not too bad depending on how long the line is and the matcha frappuccino was perfect enough w/ a good matcha flavor. This will be one of my drink stops next time if Smoothie King is still closed. read more

This Starbucks at the 290 Outlets is usually crowded regardless of time of day. This location is on the mobile app, so I always order ahead, which saves a ton of time from standing in line. The employees I've encountered here are always fast and courteous. There are two restrooms and they're kept pretty clean for the amount of traffic they go through. Have not had a bad experience here and applaud them for their consistent customer service. read more

Starbucks is one my favorite place to get a cup of coffee! But today, I stop and think that the service will be great as usual! Yet, but it's the case and it's one of insulting moment! 1. Asking for triple blond shots over a grande cup. She gave me a small cup. 2. Cream was not available at the corner for customers! When I asked for a grande cup. Ana responded as we only provided this cup. When I asked for some cream. While she poured the cream for me and said " fresh Vietnam coffee on the boat huh!" I just responded " uh huh!" and walked away! Her remarked was so insulting for a Vietnamese person like me! I saw multiple people in line frustrated with their crafted beverages. The baristas seem to get very frustrated very easily. We were going to order drinks for the whole family at 7 pm but my mom went to the bathroom and my sister sat down for not even 5 seconds and Kayla came and grabbed my sisters chair and said you need to move u can't sit here with no explanation. Seeing at least 4 other people sitting down so my sister asked her why are they allowed to sit and not me and she started laughing saying they were employees mind you it was 2 elder ladies with shopping bags and 2 kids on laptops with drinks. This is your standard SBUX. I must say that I don't quite see what's the whole hoopla is about the La Boulange baked goods. Anyway, the only thing that makes this location pretty special is the fact that it's open before any other store in the premium outlet. Hence, you have a place to hangout and observe other shoppers hilariously trying to open doors to stores that are not yet open for the day. Sip your coffee. See people walking up to a store not yet open for business. See them trying to open the door but end up with a confused look. Slight chuckle on the inside. Yes, that's kind of a jerky thing to do. Almost all new workers between now and previous posts. The service is great during the week and store is well kept however, on the weekends they're order, direction and communicating could be better. Often too much is going on behind the counter and could have more flow when making and serving drinks. Very kind workers though and everyone seems to keep busy on their job and pays attention to other workers and customers. Love the hours! ***The straws, stir sticks, drink stoppers, etc, are kept behind the counter for sanitary reasons and can't be put out on the condiment bar. On my usual drive between College Station and Houston, this stop is a must. What can I say? It's your usual Starbucks experience. They DO have a drive-through which is quite efficient, and they do have the option to come inside and chill for a while. They don't have as much merchandise as other stores, but they always have plenty of the discounted items. YAY! So, if you got to have your buzz, this would be a great stop! read more

I counted four workers. 3 were semi working and the fourth person was in the open door room chit chatting with another person (not dressed in uniform and was pregnant) if you want to chit chat, please do it off the clock, when there's no line or go to a room and talk. There was a person in front of me who hasn't order, then me and then a family behind me. No workers acknowledged us in line instead just slowly worked in their own pace. Unprofessional. This is absolutely the most inefficient Starbucks I have ever been to. Keep in mind, I am typically very forgiving when it comes to customer service, but this Starbucks was a wreck. Drinks come out randomly, the staff are so rude and poorly trained. They honestly need to just close this place down. They just stack the orders in no particular fashion and wait for somebody to pick it up and do the job. There was waaaaaaaay too much ice in our venti Caramel Macchiato and my mom finished it in less than 5 minutes. My mom got her drink almost instantly, and we had to wait another 15 (just for a mango black tea). The barista also snatched back the drink and said "oh I forgot" and put a blob of caramel in the middle. When we went to go ask for my drink, we saw that there were just 8 cups stacked on the counter untouched and they just said "it's coming". It was a Sunday before noon and they were not extremely busy like I have seen them before. There were no excuses for this shop. If you don't like your job, quit. If you're too lazy, you don't need to be working. I honestly have no idea why Starbucks would want to put their name on this coffee shop. I'm a Starbucks regular and this location is just not up to par. Every time I have been in here, it is beyond filthy. The floor sticky, tables full of trash and the trash can by the sugars/creamers is always overflowing. Seriously? Get it together. I always get the same coffee and it as fine, staff ok. But really, that is quite disgusting. I usually go to the spring Cypress/290 location but I live in the area so I frequent the outlet mall and stop by this location here and there. This location sucks! The employees do not acknowledge you when u are there. It is especially frustrating when u use the Starbucks app so u don't have to wait so long but even then I still have to wait every time bc instead of putting the drinks out for u so u can get on ur own they put the mobile orders aside and u have to wait for them so u can ask them to get it for u.
