I frequented this Starbucks's drive-thru when I worked in the area. I received great service and drinks every time. The staff was always polite and friendly. They never once messed up my order. Sure, some days had longer wait times than usual but nothing to be upset over. The inside is small, but I've only gone inside once or twice. It was clean and organized. They had a decent selection of food. If I'm in the area, I won't hesitate to stop by. The location is great. It's in the Kroger Marketplace Shopping Center, but closer to the main road (US 19/Hwy 400). Very accessible. read more

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews and low grades. I understand if a place doesn't offer a particular flavor drink. This location is alot smaller than a average Starbucks, but to give a two star isn't fair. The service was great and the drinks was prepared exactly how I asked. This is not the first time that I go on this store, and they don't close the lid!!! The girls on the window usually don't even know how to process Apple Pay. Been banker for 8 years and I tried to tell her how it works, she won't even give me a chance to explained even while I was doing the Apple Pay she was rushing me!!! Now I have to walk into my doctors appointment like this. The worse part is that this very same station keep having lack of training. All she was telling me was "you can get free drinks - what is your name?" AGAIN rushing and rushing. I told her back even more furious - " this is not about money lady!!!!! STOP and teach your staff the proper job that you are charging costumers for it!" she not even once apologize to me still. PRIDE HERE. THAT my friends tells you where the lack of attention is coming. So so so disappointed! This Starbucks is my quick stop into work, my special treat on Friday mornings. This Friday I was especially looking forward to my egg sous vide. I ordered all of this at the drive-tru.. just letting everyone know.. I didn't have a problem with the girl taking our order.. but the guy who was making our drinks.. oh my gosh! I asked for LIGHT ICE!! And what did he do?? He frickin' stuffed my cup with ICE! It was like I was only drinking a small sip of my pink drink! Not cool, man! So it's like I'm paying frickin' $4 for a small amount of the pink drink! This Starbucks has always been the best one around, out of all the ones I've been to (in both Florida and Georgia). Today what put them over the top was I asked them to surprise me with my drink, they asked if I had any preferences, and then they got me what turned out to be the BEST drink ever! And it's something that I never would have even though to order, so I'm super happy! But really, they have always had great customer service and I could not be happier that they are my local Starbucks. FORGET THE COFFEE, GRAB A PIECE OF THAT DELICIOUS BANANA BREAD! I am not sure what a typical Starbucks should look like but this one is very small and basic. However it is very comfortable with a small upholstered seating area, booths and a really long elevated farm table. I love the elevated table as it sits right in front of the counter where you can easily watch the action. I've only visited Starbucks a couple of times but during the first visit, I fell in love with their banana nut bread. It is fresh, moist and melts in your mouth and today was no different. My drink of choice is a simple cup of hot water, (clean and filtered). I appreciated them doubling my cup since the water was very hot, (just how I like it). As I mentioned, I was able to sit up front and watch the action. I notice that once the drinks are ready, they are simply placed on the counter and your name is called. I think that it would be better if they waited until the customer actually responded instead of walking away and just having the drinks sit there until customers have to ask for them. Customers don't always respond immediately because the employees don't speak loud enough, customers are engaged in conversation or otherwise distracted or they could be in the restroom. Employees should be more cognizant of this and act accordingly. Just sayin! When out shopping, Starbucks is a nice place to run in and grab a treat as it is easy in and out and you have the option of using the drive-thru if you prefer. This particular store is located just outside of Kroger, before you reach the Dawsonville Outlets. They have a cute patio right out front which will be a hot spot once the weather starts to warm again. Check it out! read more

It is Starbucks. It's the same model as all Starbucks. The downside they don't have the clover brew here if your use to that at other locations. The coffee is usually what you get at other locations. I do love the cold brew and noticed that some people add too much water but there is a girl early in the morning, talking like 530am who makes it great. There is inside and outside sitting. The outside faced the parking lot but heck it's a nice day I will still go sit outside. Overall it's what I expect from the chain. The employees are local and nice. The coffee over roasted so I tend to drink more lattes and flavored mixes here, but UAT what they want you to do. read more

I am a pharmaceutical rep and do a lot of Starbucks runs for my offices. I go to a lot of Starbucks around the whole state of Georgia. My coffee orders are usually pretty big. 5-20 coffees per run. I had an order of 12 coffees and the Dawsonville location smiled and took on the challenge and they were happy to do it. Some Starbucks and employees don't have that enthusiasm. Needless to say they finished the coffees in record time and still do to this day. Truly the best Starbucks location in all of Georgia if I were to be completely honest. read more

We accidentally hit one of the cones,(because we couldn't see it because of the sun blocking our view) and went to put it back when some old hag that worked there came to proceed to yell and scream at us as well as the people trying to help us put it back. If you register a Starbucks card and obtain gold status by utilizing the points system, those $6 drinks jump down to $4 drinks. Coming from a former starbucks employee, and a current Starbucks employee at a different location, our experience today with this store was very unprofessional. After ordering a Frappuccino with no whipped cream, and getting whipped cream (also an incorrectly made drink), my boyfriend who is currently an employee went in to get it remade for me. The Frappuccino didn't have any coffee base which makes it undrinkable. Most of them were rude (with an exception of 1) and obviously annoyed that they messed up the order and had to remake it. It's not very hard to follow the instructions that are printed out on the cup and I know that mistakes happen, but baristas shouldn't give customers attitude for making a mistake when it isn't the customers fault that it happened. read more
