It's not super easy to find! Dahlonega has lots of interesting twists and turns and back alley shops and some shops blended in so well with other places, that a random door opens up to more unique experiences. So, that's how we found this place. We were waiting to get our names in for Bourbon Street Grille, and this random door behind us boasted wine tasting. I thought it was just a one room deal behind us. When you see the door and the shop, you'll fully understand. If you like wine, this is worth it and a MUCH better deal than the Wine Festival (which is what we came for). It's not a big place and technically only has about 8 seats at the bar for tasting. Thankfully, it seemed all the festival goers didn't know about this place (bc it's totally a Harry Potter hidden type of deal) so we got 4 seats. The kids roamed around the shop while we tried wine. The flights are $12/$16 based off the wines you want. They have white, red, blended and rose. Oh, check in on Yelp and receive one free taste of any wine (I used mine)!!! I did the Rose, Merlot, Vidal Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and the Petit Manseng. Loved the Merlot (had a spicy after taste) the most! Then the Pinot Grigio. The Petit Manseng is their strongest wine but was my least favorite. However, I tasted the Trillium from someone else's in our group and LOVED IT. We ended up buying a bottle of Mtn Harvest Red plus the Apfelwein (the lady described it so well and made us want to get a bottle). I can honestly say I had such a buzz from the flight that I stopped drinking when we went to go eat. The wine was really good and certainly hit, so be careful! Totally worth checking this place out, if you can find it!!!

The winding drive up to the vineyard is breathtaking, and the views only get better from there. Treat yourself to a wine tasting, then enjoy an authentic Italian meal at Trattoria di Montaluce. Had a fabulous dinner with girls. It was their first time experiencing the wineries of Dahlonega and Monteluce was our 3rd stop. So glad I decided to make a reservation to assure that we would have a table for sunset. The hostesses were very accommodating and kind. The sunset was absolutely stunning and the patio was very relaxing. Our meal was good but not great. Pretty pricey for the quality of food. Everything we ordered was tasty but nothing tasted amazing. For apps we had Focaccia Bread and Salads. Entrees: Salmon, Ribeye, and Pork Belly Tacos. Some of us split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and that was very yummy. Looking forward to a return visit to try Trattoria downstairs!

Frogtown is a very nice venue with the seating area overlooking the vineyard. I'm not exaggerating over it being very nice...the view almost looked fake but it was very real. They serve their wine flights as full glasses so if you have had a day full of wine tastings and you decide to stop here, I hope you are staying in the area, lol. I didn't get to try any of the food.

You'll come in after you park and then go straight to the building and there's a huge bar top area but there's a dining room area all around so you probably can rip this space out because there's plenty of seating. I was trying to do the flight so that I could get a full taste of what they have and they have multiple options. A lot of them are reds though, so just keep that in mind. If you don't like the dry reds, you may want to check for something else but they do have plenty of options. What I liked about this one was that the flight that I ordered was actually a full glass of wine and not small tastings. I got a full perspective of what it would look like to have a full glass. Just know that the wine will get you there lol. It's okay. Three glasses of wine over a good view, you can't beat that. They have an indoor, like I mentioned, but everybody was actually sitting outdoors on the patio area. The patio area was covering the view of all the greenery and all the vines and the backdrop of being in nature. It is a really good view. Everybody there was super cool and very helpful when we talked to them about that and they gave good explanations to the specific whys because if you don't know, you don't know. You check the pictures and you know what I mean but it's a really good view so I would definitely give this a shot!

It was easy to find with plenty of parking, and although it looked like they were preparing for an event later that evening, everything was still open and running smoothly. The property was clean and well-kept, with live music set up and playing outside, which added to the atmosphere. We ordered at a counter. I chose the sweet selection and my daughter chose the white wine flight. Each flight included four 2 oz pours and cost $60 total. We were informed there was also a food truck on-site. We tried the pimento cheese dip and hummus platter--both were enjoyable, though a bit pricey (I don't recall the exact amounts). The vineyard has a large covered patio as well as another seating area with sun shades. Most tables were occupied, and several guests had brought their dogs, which added a relaxed, welcoming feel. While I enjoyed the overall experience, I did find the wines and food a bit on the expensive side, especially given the bottle prices listed on the tasting menu (ranging roughly from $36 to $75). I didn't end up purchasing any bottles for that reason. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a nice way to spend Father's Day. I'd consider coming back again--possibly in the fall, and bringing my dog next time.

You'll come in and park and you'll have all the views of the greenery and the grapes, which is a really nice setting. Came in and there were some people at the wine bar and they immediately get to work. They were talking about the wine specifics and they were super friendly. It ended up ordering a flight and you get to pick several flights from the menu and they'll bring it to you. Now the flights were not specific so you could pick anything off of the menu, just about. You didn't have to stay within a certain range but there were a couple of off-limits ones. That's not a big deal because they had plenty of options. I stuck with the dry reads and they did a really good job with those but there are still plenty of options for everybody, quite honestly. There's an inside and an outside to it but I ended up staying inside by the bar in the corner just to check out the scene. There were plenty of people coming in and out just to buy wine as well because they have wine for sale obviously. It was really a full-service operation there and everybody was so friendly. It felt like it was a family-oriented situation there. Overall the experience is pretty good. I don't have any complaints about it and if you're in the area you may want to stop by. I mean this overall because everything is really close together within a couple of miles so you might as well lol

When driving up to the venue I was confused because for some reason I don't remember driving up a long winding road, but then again, last time I didn't drive so there is that. Three Sisters is a very electic place, set on a wide stretch of land with plenty of grapevines. The staff was nice and explained each of the wine choices. They had quite a few sweet options so for those that prefer a sweeter wine, this is your place. I did the $25 wine flight which is more than enough to get a good feel for what they offer. I tried their Georgia Port as my closer and it did what it was supposed to do. The property is worth a visit if you are in the area.

The view of Mt Yonah was stunning, the setup of the place was cool, and the ambiance of their inside/outside area was nice. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back! (And bring my water bottle with me lol)
