We were coming through Durango on a road trip on Christmas and NOTHING was open. Luckily we stopped by the one place that was open and this Starbucks was absolutely delightful! Susan & Chloe whipped up an amazing chai latte and hot chocolate while being enthusiastic and wishing us a merry Christmas! Chandler took our order with efficiency and complete knowledge of the menu while Elliot cooked up our entire breakfast order and it was delicious ! They were out of croissants so I'll have to come back!! Chloe & Seth we're cleaning up the dining area and making sure that all of the guests had clean places to eat! Deja was running the drive through but still had time to wish us happy holidays ! I've been to a ton of Starbucks and this one was extremely special! Visiting family here in Durango. There are many cute coffee shops in this little town. But if you know me, you know I'm a Starbucks devotee. It's like coming home. I'm not sure how long this location has been open, but most of the baristas are new. There is indoor seating and I've enjoyed sitting and enjoying my beverage inside. There is outdoor seating located behind the building, away from the street. If it was warmer I'd be sitting out there for sure. There is even a gas fire place. Love this location and recommend coming here. Everyone has been so friendly!!! read more

The attendant at the cash register was rude and uninterested. I tried to order an iced coffee but was told that they were out, and she would not give me a cold brew or similar drink for the same price. My friend's order was lost, and she had to go find out what was going on. The interior of the store was quite nice but the service is obviously lacking. read more

This is the friendliest and most helpful Starbucks team I've ever met! I was in Durango for a few days and they remembered me, were so helpful with all my drink requests and even answered questions I had about my stay in town. I had to review this Starbucks because of the clientele and slow service because of the clientele, I am guessing. The place had zero adults in it at the time of our visit, mid afternoon. But it was crowded with teenagers! I am guessing they came from the GOAL high school across the street. We had to wait for a lot of drink orders to go by before we got ours, and I could swear we placed our order before some of the other teenagers who arrived after we did. There were not enough staff to handle all the orders, there seemed to be only one woman making the drinks and one person taking orders at the register. But at least we got an education in teen culture that afternoon! Watching how they act and dress and behave in a public place. Most were quiet and pleasant, some absorbed in their phones, some too young to have phones in my opinion. But it's definitely a teen hangout for some reason. Wish I knew why. Just curious, that's all. They seemed like pretty nice kids. read more

Brand NEW! This Starbucks has a drive thru which is going to be super legit for people heading up to Purg in the winter (hot coffee or tea for the road anyone?). The interior is pretty nice; quite industrial looking if you face the street but more cozy looking when you face the register. Only one bathroom for ladies (and one for men) located in the back on the right as you walk in. Staff is super friendly and there are a lot of people working so your order should come out quickly! Plenty of parking and a nice patio area outside for summer :) read more

Slow and disorganized. Waited in the drive thru for ten minutes for 2 small hot chocolates ($6.37). Paid the person at the window who then wandered off past what turned out to be my cooling drinks sitting on a counter. Eventually someone else picked them up and gave them to me, lukewarm and missing the whipped cream I asked for. I'm a Durango resident, this will be my last trip to any Starbucks in town. read more

The interior was very nice, but the first drink I got was as lukewarm as the staff was. I sent it back, and they remade it, but remade it totally wrong. As a matter of fact not sure what they did, so I just tossed it after drinking one sip. My husband even said it was nasty. Soooo, I won't be back to this location. read more
