I like this Starbucks. They are close to my job and my gym. I usually go and grab something on the way to the office. I am not a coffee drinker, so I mostly am into their teas and pastries. I love the London Fog. I use the mobile app and so my food is usually ready when I walk in and so I can grab it and go. I seriously forgot how much I despise this location. The 4 years I was a customer there, it was always the same. It takes forever to get through the drive-thru, the drinks are NEVER correct and the food is cold. I stopped coming here over a year ago. Today I thought I would be nice and bring coffee in for my coworkers and didn't have time to drive to coffee scene. Sure enough.... sat in the drive thru for 25 mins., almost just left without getting my drinks I ordered, but my boss said it was okay that I was now going to be a few minutes late. I get my drinks and sure enough... the hot drink I ordered is iced, the unsweetened tea I ordered is so full of sugar I gagged taking a sip and my sandwich was cold in the middle. On top of it, the garbage new lids for the iced drinks enabled one of the drinks to spill ALL OVER ME when it tipped slightly in my cup holder. Seriously this is the most overrated franchise there is, but this location specifically needs to get it together. I will never stop here again. read more

I come to this location because it's close to where I live. The service is incredibly slow. It seems when I come anytime after 10am I can expect to wait 30+ minutes in the drive through. Today I waited 35 minutes in the drive through for my drink and this is the norm. I came by on Christmas Eve and ordered inside and the place was so dirty and service was slow as molasses. The baristas at this Starbucks are always peppy and chipper, which is exactly what I need when I'm on my way in for an 8am class. This Starbucks is conveniently located down the street from Methodist University. I love that this location has a drive through which makes it convenient when it's freezing outside and you don't want to get out of the car. Peak time is always in the morning. So be prepared to at least expend 10 mins for ordering and waiting cause the lines can be long. My one star dock is that they tend to run out of my favorite items at this Starbucks: Tomato mozzarella paninis, Madeline cookies, and veggie egg bites. So be prepped to have an alternative snack you may want just in case they are out. read more

I know they're usually fairly busy due to the location but good gravy... whether you go inside or are in the drive thru it's going to take a long while for you to get your order. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is. Perhaps I just have the misfortune to always hit this location when everyone is ordering s complicated drink or maybe it's just this location. The drinks I get here are decent most of the time. I usually like to order from my app then pick it up. The service isn't always the best so it lost a star from me. The service I got the other day was pretty great. The lady at the window asked me what my favorite farm animal was. I like to see they are having fun with their job. I try to avoid going to this location whenever I can but it's the closest one to my house so it's convenient for me to come here sometimes. I think I've only had one good experience in terms of my order being right and them being relatively quick. One time at this location I had to get my drink remade twice for them to get it right and I didn't even modify the drink. Today I had to cancel my drink order because I was going to be late for work. The person on bar did not seem to be working with any sort of urgency. I wish I had actually timed it but I'm pretty sure it took her 5 minutes to make one drink because she kept turning around to talk to the barista behind her and then talk to another barista over the headset. Even after she finished the drink she held onto it and resumed her conversation with the barista behind her before calling the drink out. I looked at other reviews for this location and speed of service seems to have been an issue for at least 3 years! They get an extra star for being nice though. Recently started going back and it's even worse than before. Today I mobile ordered 5 items, only 1 was available when I arrived almost 30 min later. The only beverage that was ready & available was poorly made and returned.
