I like this place. It always has a trendy cool look. Recently inspired by green. Their green mermaid and green accents here and there. Cute! There snacks are cute as can be too. Sure wish I would have taken a pic of the cake lollipops. Different, special, and magnetic (if you know what I mean). I do tend to pick different cold and hot coffees. Always happy with each choice I've made. Light Caramel Latte this time. This spot is always busy - you are lucky if you get a seat. I'm at a Starbucks all the time. I frequent this one the most often because of convenience. Majority of the workers are nice and polite. They are fast with their drinks, and the patio is pretty good to sit outside. I always get a plain coffee or ice tea, every blue moon I'll get something "fruity" (sugary and sweet). It always taste good. Consistency is key! Inside the café I think the seating is awkward. They changed it recently and it's a bit better, but I prefer to be at the Crestview location (sorry, no hard feelings.) read more

Starbucks: Well known for the green logo and coffee. And somewhat fast. Accessibility: It's located in the Mall Road Shoppes, which is quite accessible right off the bat. But you have to watch your feet if you're in a wheelchair. This may seem to be a problem that only I have, but no...seriously. Be careful. Price: It's Starbucks. You get what you pay for, people. And you're paying for actually, not so bad service and pretty decent coffee. Experience: Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They don't bat an eye at the most complex order, and could probably do the simplest with their eyes closed. To be honest, maybe they DO. Small store, but comfortable, and free wi-fi which is win when you need to do some work, are having a lunch meeting, or just want to surf the web with a hot cup of joe. Overall, it's a 4/5 for me. Being Starbucks, the drive thru line is expected to be long due to the amount of orders they receive a day. As much as I understand this, I don't expect to be waiting at the window for 20 minutes waiting on one drink. Though this has been the case many times. Again, I understand they are very busy, so I cannot give a bad review based on just this. The times I have gone inside, I have been rushed. Yes, it is busy and they want to get people in and out. However, you still have customers to treat with respect, as I have caught attitude with some employees who have rushed me out. I give three stars, because the drinks are usually pretty well made! This is my go-to Starbucks for this reason. They're cake pops are fantastic as well! read more

Little confused the way some people are complaing here. I have been to a ton start bucks and other coffee joints i don't care about wait or the seating or store front really you're complaining about the store front none of that has anything to do with the coffee and every time I go here there coffee is perfect not to hot or cold and the taste is dead on I go to this store every morning before gym and never had a complaint about the COFFEE lol the store front really people!!!!!??? read more

If you are looking for some quick coffee, this is not the place. It took almost 15min to receive my frappuccino and that was after I reminded the barista that I was still waiting on a drink. While standing in line, I also noticed them get somebody else's drink order incorrect and the barista just dumped it out. I'm not sure if thats policy, but that seemed very wasteful. You would think offering a free drink to someone in line would make more sense. read more

The barista at this location was AWFUL. I went in with my friend and she was hitting on him the whole time, which didn't bother me if she wasn't so rude to me as well. He got his drink right away "made with love" meanwhile I waited while customers who came in after me got their drinks and people in the drive thru got theirs as well. When my drink eventually was ready the barista didn't call my name she just held my drink up and shook it to get my attention. There are plenty of other Starbucks around here to go back to this location. read more

I have NEVER seen people treated so rudely at any establishment ever like the way these Starbucks employees treat their customers. They are mean, loud, sarcastic, condescending on EVERY occasion I have been in the building. I do not know how this is still a successful business. Also The coffee is undrinkably disgusting. They seem to have a really high turn over and are always training someone when I come in. I know people have to learn their jobs...we've all been new somewhere before...but its like they don't staff extra people while they're training new baristas. They expect the trainer to hold the new person's hand and still go quickly making all the drinks at normal speed. They can't do it...plus every time I go to this location my drink doesn't taste right. Its not a hard drink at all...nothing crazy and complicated. By the time I get it I've already waited 15+ minutes and don't have time to wait even longer because I have work. Every other location gets my drink right every time, even the small one at my school, but this one just can't seem to nail it even though they tell me they put the same amount of flavoring in it...they don't. The workers are always pleasant so that's nice...but the taste of the drink and the wait time outweigh that. For a location set right in the middle of Florence you'd think it would be a little better :( if there were another location so close to my work I would definitely go there instead, even if it were a little farther away. read more

Always great coffee. Staff is always willing to make (great and delicious) suggestions when I am looking to be adventurous. With this location in such a prime spot, be prepared to wait for your drink, whether it be at the drive-thru or inside. They always get my drink right and provide service with a smile. read more

BAD Starbucks location. There were 6 or 7 employees inside, 4 were talking, 1 or 2 at drive-thru and one who was taking the orders and making all of the drinks. Waiting several minutes inside as I watched this craziness. The manager should be aware that the team does not work well together at this location. read more

The service was slow and unorganized for having 10 employees working. The story was busy but only because the employees were slow and looked confused about what the should be doing. One employee spilled a drink and then when i asked for a rag to clean it up they ignored me and then refused to give me one. They were very off putting and snotty. read more

My code didn't work, a cashier assumed it was bc I just signed up that am and it needed to be 48 hours. Regardless, there was nothing on the invite to state this was a stipulation in my messages on the app. They would not honor. I pushed and finally they did. Bad customer service. I love Starbucks and pick up a coffee almost every morning; but I have to admit I've recently been stopping at the new Dunkin's instead of here just because of how slow this one's gotten. I totally understand that this is the only Starbucks with a drive-through in the area, but I've been through many SB drive-throughs and this is the slowest one I've seen. It often takes around 20 minutes to get my coffee, even with a shorter line. Granted, my order is always right and it tastes great, but there has to be a better way to up the flow and get people in and out. read more

I put in an online order for a peach green tea and a grilled cheese. I picked it up and got in my car and then I took a drink of my tea and it had lemonade in it and barely any peach. I took it back in and there were about eight employees back there and three were at the counter talking, not about work, while I and another girl in front of me waited. I then finally told a guy what was wrong with my drink. He handed it off to another girl and she said to me "oh sorry I just didn't read it all"... that's part of the job sis. She then hands me my new drink and I think it was a guava green tea u sweetened, not at all what I asked for. They were out of straws so I asked for one and she said "I'll go grab one" she takes two steps and starts talking to another girl. A minute later she turns to me sassily and says "what are you waiting for?" And I said "a straw...". And she goes "OH DUH. Then hands me a straw. Then I discover she made it wrong yet again so I drove to the target Starbucks where they kindly remade it correctly for me. That whole thing took about 45 minutes so after that my grilled cheese was cold! Terrible experience. read more

Over-priced coffee is a very honest statement... I ordered a venti pike place adding two shots. The cashier kindly charged me for the order and filled the cup with pike, passing it to another barista. He looked puzzled at the drink asking the cashier what it was while she had moved on to the next customer. There the drink remained on the counter as I watched two customers who followed being served their drinks. I told him that I had ordered a venti pike with two shots. He grabbed the coffee from its last state, topped it off with coffee and handed it to me. I explained it was to also have two shots. He replied saying I added them earlier and forgot about it. Upset about the service, I took my coffee and left the station. Let's try some honesty guys - I was a little bothered by the delay but very upset I had just been served a lie with room for bs. I've tried a number of times to give this location a real try, but every time the service has been poor at best. To make matters worse that on their best day the coffee was quite lack luster. On Dec 30th I stopped in Starbucks on Mall Road in Florence around 4:30 pm. Vanessa the worker slung One of the three drinks I ordered all over me. It covered my pants and my brand new ugh shoes my daughter bought for me. Never apologized, never gave me anything to clean off with. Then the same girl hit one of the workers that had her arm in a sling and being rude in front of customers. People were walking out. It truly is one of the worst Starbucks. read more

We are in the process of filing a complaint with the City of Florence heath department about this store after our experience here today. Word of caution: DO NOT GO TO THIS STARBUCKS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DRINK WIPED WITH A FILTHY RAG THAT THEY WIPE THE FLOOR WITH!!!. The girl MARIE who made our drinks was beyond verbally abusive and rude to my husband and I. Worst service ever. She also refused to give me her managers name when we asked politely asked for it. I emailed corporate because she is giving the company a bad name and turning customers away and they should be made aware of it. Other customers saw what happened and were shaking their heads. Thank you SOLOMON for helping us and stepping in when your co worker was so obviously out of control and couldn't control her emotions and stop slamming drinks!!! This is 1 of the nicest and coolest SBUX I have ever visited, loved the store format. Very welcoming and friendly and had a warm feeling about it. The drinks and the service is just the usual like at most Starbucks. My reasonings why I dislike this location is the parking lot and the size of the building. The parking lot is way too busy with only like 4 parking spots (which are usually already occupied). There are so many people waiting for the drive thru the line wraps around the whole building and it's a hassle to get out of the parking lot. In the building there is very limited places to sit inside. Do not come to this location if you need a place to sit down and work/study, as you may not find a seat. As for the bathrooms, there's only one bathroom for each gender. There's always a line to use the restroom. To end on a positive note, the outside patio is really nice and they do make delicious drinks. read more

The drive-thru at this location is always packed. But, with a little one, sometimes the wait is my only option since going inside with a toddler would be a huge hassle. The coffee is hit or miss. Some great, some terrible. Last weekend I had a terrible experience, but before that, it had been great. Even baristas can have bad brew days! read more

Terrible. Always out of the low fat turkey bacon sandwich and the drive through is RIDICULOUS!! Pick up the pace already!! There will be no one inside, cars are backed out into the street and they're as slow as molasses. I can't find another Starbucks with a drive through that's close to work. Otherwise, I would avoid this drive through like the plague. One day when the line was blocking traffic the girls were joking around on the intercom and slipping in coy phrases like "i love you" to see if customers would notice. GET TO WORK!!!!!! Another time, she mistook my "non fat cappuccino" for a "non fat" frappiccino. That's all I order at any drive through star bucks in the tri-state area so I dont know how she messed that up.
