Busy busy location. Parking can be a bit tricky with all the tourists. They work quickly. They repeat your order to you to make Dre they got it right in the drive thru. I'm tired of the inconsistency at Starbucks. Sometimes it's great. There are a few employees there that are great! Great customer service and then there are a few employees, who I will Call the "snippy" employees....days that the snippy employees are there are the days the drinks are the most inconsistent. In the photo I asked for extra Carmel drizzle a there was barely any, this is what I've come to expect when the drink says "Carmel drizzle" not when requested for extra. My husband and I came in last Saturday and both got two caramel macchiato's one had a ton of caramel drizzle and the other barely had any when we had requested extra on both. Today, I would have gone in and brought my drink back in and had them remake it, but I felt uncomfortable when I saw a large dog off leash, Enter the store. It's hard to continue to spend $20 dollars on 3 drinks when only half the time I'm happy with My purchase. When you pull up to the window and aren't welcomed at all, just given a total, it really feels like customer service is suffering here. I understand that cold weather, staffing challenges, or a rough morning can slow things down, and I was patient with the longer drive-thru line because of that. However, the interaction itself felt dismissive and rude. There was no greeting, no offer of a straw or napkins, and no basic courtesy that helps make the experience feel human. Starbucks has always been known for connection and friendliness, and this visit felt underwhelming compared to that standard. It honestly left me feeling a bit bummed out, which is disappointing for a place I usually enjoy.I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because small moments of kindness and attentiveness really do make a difference. We haven't been here in years once they stopped the cool lime refreshers..but I needed to go in as I m looking for a specific cup..I was actually surprised as to how it was laid out now after the last remodel..the sitting area is so much smaller and where they sell the merchandise as well..the drinks are still good but still overpriced . Service was super fast ! There was a long line wrapped around the building, it's a coffee shop in the morning it's to be expected, I was only in line for 8 minutes! I experienced an extremely poor level of customer service by an employee on Wednesday July 22, 2020. I was in the drive thru lane and had been in the lane for about 10 minutes. I was the next car in line to order. The time was 1:54pm when An employee placed a sandwich sign in front of my car stating the drive thru closed at 2pm. There were no cars behind me. I asked the employee if I was going to be able to order. She said no because they closed at 2pm. I said it's 1:55 and I'm the only car (one car with one person in the car). I had 4 devices that read 1:55 pm. She said sorry we close at 2pm. It was not 2pm and I was the only car being blocked by the sign. There were no cars behind me. I hope Starbucks was closing early for customer service training because that store is in dire need of it. . I will not be back to that store. There are other coffee shops in the Foley area. This Starbucks is so aggravating.. anytime they have any special holiday items or limited edition items they are ALWAYS OUT! And I mean like even when they're just released the first week they already don't have any. The last time I went here I asked for the sugar plum danish they weren't going to have it because the past five times I went they told me they didn't, sure Girl at the says they don't have any and I say, are you gonna be getting any back in and her response was no probably not, while the items were literally still so recently re-released!! We were In the area shopping and after gorging ourselves on pizza, my niece and I wanted a cool coffee drink as opposed to a warm one. I ordered a mocha Frappuccino..no whip. It was spot on, my niece ordered an iced caramel macchiato with extra vanilla. She thought it tasted different and I stated to her maybe she needed more caramel instead. Being from Houston, I'm used to not being greeted with a smile and a "hurry up, order and get out of the way" attitude. However, I'm in Foley, AL and my experience was GREAT! Mrs. Donna smiled and said hello when we walked in the door, while she was helping the customer in front of her. She took our order and was just so nice. While I was putting what I am sure is too much sugar and creamer for most people, haha, Savannah was cleaning and sweeping and greeted me and we had a lovely chat. Went here to study. Generally a good time. Three positives and one negative. + A lot of seating, not much crowd on a Thursday morning + Very friendly baristas + Plenty of parking. Even if it were busy there's probably 20 spots right next to it. - Slow on pouring my drink. I've worked at Starbucks previously, and it took longer than I expect at a busy Starbucks; this place was slow and it took a solid three minutes. I have been going to Starbucks for a very long time. I just wanted to voice my opinion on something I do not agree with. I ordered a Grande White Chocolate Pumpkin hot coffee. 4 pumps of syrup goes into a Grande I asked for 2 wht chocolate and 2 pumpkin which equals 4. I was charges an extra .60 cents for "extra syrup" I mentioned to the barista that I should not be charged for extra syrup if I got a total of 4 pumps of syrup vs 5. She said that thats how has has to do it because when she puts in pumpkin spice it charges .60. So I paid for something extra when I didnt get extra. She could have just charged me for single flavored drink and wrote both on the cup. I would not have been charged extra that way. I realize that its only .60 cents but when your paying for 5 plus dollars for a coffee its rediculous. I just wanted to voice this sonthe problem can be fixed so people wont be over charged for drinks. Overall the starbucks was neat and clean and my drink was good just overpriced. Might be the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. There were at least 6 girls behind the counter, 4 of whom were talking (loudly) and not working. The worker making my drink was moving slow and busy singing to herself while I had to wait and wait. She was nice, just not working efficiently. My food got cold while I waited for our two simple drinks to be made. Very disappointed. Just give yourself extra time if you plan on going in.
