Okay. I REALLY recommend this one. I actually prefer this to the Roseville location. First, super friendly customer service. Second, the vibe is really lively (there's a really pretty pop of blue) oh and don't get me started about the natural lighting. COFFEE- was so smooth and my avocado toast had a really cool spin with some sort of savory jam. Pretty good place to get some work done!

Fourscore coffee is my favorite in downtown Folsom! Their pastries are always delectable and the coffee drinks are well-made. They are also nice and friendly there as well. A few weeks ago, I tried their toffee chocolate chip cookie. It's not my thing, but it was pretty good. The cappuccino was perfection as always.

On a Rainy day my wife and I came here to spend some time relaxing before having dinner at the Sutter Street Steakhouse! The ambiance was warm and friendly with the ladies at the counter being very kind! Their coffee is smooth and not bitter and we really enjoyed the pastries that we ordered. Parking can be a challenge especially on the busy days when Sutter Street is busy! A few students were at their computers studying which made it a chill environment! We will be back! By the way, my bride says the Chai Latte was one of the best she ever had and that she wants to get again! That's a big deal because my wife does not throw out compliments like that flippantly!

OMG OMG OMG so exciting to have a coffee shop in old town that actually opens WHEN A COFFEE SHOP SHOULD. Ridiculous that prior to this you couldn't get a coffee anywhere down there before 8am. Good pastries, the latte was sublime, the staff warm and welcoming, and situated right by the Sutter street Steakhouse, it's easy to find. Plenty of parking in the parking garage right next to it, if you can't find street. I spied a navy hat for the USS Lincoln, which I am guessing is the reason for Honest Abe being the theme.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, smooth coffee, and the best quiche I've ever had--no joke!

The coffee here is always great and has been high quality, and the location in old Folsom is excellent.

I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. The room we sat in had a beautiful cherry tree draped in cherry blossoms as well as a cute neon sign, perfect for pics, as well as comfy chairs, a love seat and a table as well as a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight. There's another room on the left side of the cafe but I didn't have a chance to check it out since we left to get lunch at Belly. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. I'll have to try the cherry blossom and banana drinks in the future! They have private shared parking with a bunch of other businesses; I found a spot easily on a recent Saturday morning. Thank you!

Food deals include half off all appetizers ("smaller") and tavern pizzas (flabreads). Specialty cocktails, wine, and beer are discounted a couple dollars and well drinks are nicely priced at $6. We came around 4:30pm and there was a lot of seating available. The hostess was welcoming and our server Evelyn was great. She had a chill and pleasant attitude and was very efficient with our requests. Kitchen was quick to bring out my poke nachos, and our combo pizza and chicken wings came within 10 minutes. My husband had to send his lemonade back because it was carbonated, but they fixed it right away and it was perfect. The poke nachos was stacked high with crispy wonton chips and diced raw tuna with a spicy aioli sauce throughout. The buffalo chicken wings were sauced just right and still a little crispy. I heard the server tell another patron they can do bbq sauce or naked if you do not want buffalo sauce. The flatbread pizza wasn't as crispy on the bottom as I'd like (probably because of all the toppings) but the edges of the crust were good with a nice chew/crispy ratio. Overall, food was delicious, and at half off, definitely worth it, Since there were only a few patrons in the restaurant at the time, it was fairly quiet, but I've been when it's packed, loud, and lively. Iron Horse Tavern is always a good choice for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and especially for Happy Hour!

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!
