I like the overall design and look of this Starbucks, inside and out. I image frequenting this place as one of my favorite locations in Fontana. Same great tasting Starbucks coffee and treats! I tried the White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew for the first time while visiting and it is a winning drink to order! I recommend it. At this location, It looks like there is a walk up window to order a drink, yet it's hours of operation are not clear - except maybe after the inside seating is closed after a certain hour. Moreover, this location seems to draw a lot less riff-raff thanks to the outlets being blocked off with no electricity to plug into for a phone charge or camp out with a laptop. I went to order a food item and a cup of hot water and the fiasco that occurred was absolutely ridiculous. The drive thru attendant initially refused me stating the water was "too hot" and that "it would just evaporate." I was perplexed and then just asked for a child's temp hot water then, with a resounding no from the individual. Gobsmacked, I then tried to order a tea with the bag separated in order to attempt to comply with their restrictions. They then proceeded to say I could order "a normal water or an iced water." I then explained I needed this water to warm up a bottle of formula. I'd run out and needed it desperately for a crying baby. Wanting to just give up, I offered to purchase a hot tea, whatever flavor that was cheapest, just to get by. He then caved and allowed me to get the cup of hot water. It should not have taken so much to give me a water. Upon arrival to the window, the initial attendant refused to serve me and had their coworker step in. They apologized, I said thank you, but was really uninterested in pleasantries. I complied to their rule of "no free waters" which was ruled out sometime last year or so. All I'm saying is water costs them next to nothing, and for a $20/hour paycheck you really shouldn't restrict water to someone, regardless of temperature. Baby is thankfully fed. read more

Drive thru review. I came here one time on a Wednesday morning. Ordered two iced drinks and two breakfast sandwich items. The drinks were made to perfection! I have no complaints there. The breakfast sandwich was nice and warm and cooked to perfection, you can tell they have new machines; I don't know how but if you've been to many Starbucks places like I have, you know when they have new appliances - it reflects on their drinks and food. From the moment we ordered to the time we picked it up, the customer service was great! The lady was friendly and kind. I liked that they have a sign asking that you have payment ready prior to getting to the window. I'm sure this helps efficient and quick payment process, especially when the line is big. This place feels secluded, just because the normal colors aren't on the actual building. It looks new and the windows look nice. This Starbucks store needs improvement on their service. This is my third time going to this Starbucks and they have consistently messed up my order and all 3 of them employees in there always have an attitude. I ordered a iced venti matcha with strawberry cf and a venti icewater. The barista then keeps asking me what cookie and how many cookies wanted, asked about 3x's. I keep repeating "no cookies" I didn't order a cookie, so a different employee gets on the drive-thru speaker and asks "so do you want to a cookie or not"? And I politely repeat no cookie just the 2 drinks. They take my payment give me my latte and close the window. I'm still waiting for my ice water. One of the Baristas opens the window and asks "what else do you need" and I said I'm just waiting for my water so he rolls his eyes, returns with a small water and I tell him thank you but it was supposed to be a venti water. He disappears and another barista comes and just gives me a dirty look and hands me the water. I would say that this is one of the better Starbucks locations in Fontana. There's a few others nearby, but they tend to be more busy in the drive thru and the inside. I staff was so friendly and welcoming. I placed a mobile order for a Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso on the app and I walked in less than 5 minutes later. The drink was made quickly and accurately. The brown sugar syrup is so good. I have been to Starbucks locations where, despite it being almost completely empty, I would still have to wait 10 or more minutes for my order. At this Starbucks my order was already on the counter waiting to be picked up when I walked in. The interior was clean and not very busy . They have a few tables for you to enjoy your coffee in store. This will most likely be my go to Starbucks location from now on. read more

So my typical order from Starbucks is a blonde quad over ice in a venti cup. 2 pumps white mocha and vanilla sweet CREAM. Not sure why the sweet cream always gets mixed up with sweet foam. I order from the drive thru. I emphasize on the word cream because I know it can get mixed up. He repeated it back and it was correct. I pull up and get my drink to see it has foam. So I tell the batista girl that it's wrong and if they can remake it. My nieces work at a Starbucks location my sister was a manager. I know how rude customers can be. So I ask politely. She looks at the cup and reads the order. She says we'll it says on here foam. I say well that's not how I ordered it (with a smile). So she grabs the drink and says so you want cream? I'm like yes that's how I ordered it originally. Instead of making a whole new drink. She just tops off my existing drink with cream. Completely diluting the coffee. As you can see in the photo the cup is 80% cream/white in color. I called corporate and they generously repaid me ($15 for a $5 drink) but it's the inconvenience of it all.
