We had an early morning meeting in Fontana, and we dropped by for a quick bite and coffee. This restaurant was clean and the staff was cheery. We shared their breakfast sandwich: bacon, egg and cheese on an English Muffin. This came out of the cold case and heated up for us. Considering its cold/premade start in life, it wasn't too bad. The egg wasn't overly cooked (keep your expectations in check, and at least it wasn't only egg whites) and the bacon added some beneficial richness. Service is good however when it comes to the drive-through I have said and waited for 20 minutes to get my coffee that's ridiculous. I have to admit their pumpkin spice. Frappuccino is way beyond better than Starbucks but the wait time it's easier to go to Starbucks and there's always an issue with the credit card machine or to even cash out your points or use your app. I have missed a lot of coupons, free promotions because their machine is not working and the nearest Coffee Bean isn't real alto. I'm not gonna drive 10 to 15 minutes. Customer service is great. The girls are working hard. I just wish the management would work on the drive-through wait time but the location is always clean. That's my only complaint. I will definitely come back when their machine is working and there's no one in line. I will recommend it if you have been tried it. I got here at 11:19 am and I'm now leaving at 11:37 am. I walk through the front and they see me there but don't acknowledge you're there so I'm waiting about 2 minutes just standing there before someone comes to take my order. Mind you .. there was no one in line but me, store wasn't even full and the drive through was not full either. I wait awhile and get one of two drinks ... they forget about my second drink until I can finally get someone to make eye contact with me to ask about my second drink. They made that one pretty fast and then place it on the counter with no straw. At that point I reach over to get it myself because the last time I went they did the same thing and had to wait another two minutes to just get a straw for my drink. I don't know what's going on with this place. I'm a local and my husband and I enjoy our coffee once a week but we might need to go to Rialto or find another coffee shop. It's constant with this store. Moody looking baristas, long wait times, forgetting orders, and then don't even ask about their system. It's a coin toss to know whether it's going to work or not. This location is always a hit and miss sometimes a really good sometimes the coffee is off. One thing that stays consistent is our time in the drive-through. It's ridiculously long. Everyone here is really nice no complaints about the employees. HOWEVER, I come here quite a bit considering it's the closest to me and 99.9% of the time they say they aren't accepting the mobile app. It's very inconvenient because I have money on my app and I have to now go out of my way to add my points from my receipt. This is my second time visiting this particular location. I like how they keep the noise to a minimum unlike Starbucks. The customer service was great maybe because I had the shift supervisor ring me up. They do have new Matcha drinks - Reg latte, iced mango matcha latte and the cookies and cream. This was my first and last time visiting this location. I sat in the drive through line for a total of 36 minutes. When I finally arrived to the window I observed a man( Aidan) who looked at me and continued to stand at the window and fidget with the white papers that hot food usually comes in, mind you he was not taking orders on the intercom, just standing at the window, fidgeting. I observed the barista behind him continuously preparing drinks. There was a drink that had already been sitting on the counter behind him. He looks behind him, then looks at me, then walks away from the window. He then comes back to the window and at this point he has still not opened the window to say anything, and continues to stand there and fidget with the papers. I didn't order anything hot, he's standing at the window, I'm confused as to why he is not expediting the window if he's working it. When Aiden finally comes to the window it has been a total of 5 minutes that I've sat at the window (after sitting in the line for 30 minutes) he doesn't apologize for the wait he tells me my total. I ask him if the drink is ready, he then proceeds to tell me that the drink, I observed sitting on the counter since I pulled up to the window " is right here". I then ask him. If my drink has been sitting there the entire time why would you not expedite the window? He then tells me that there is an issue with their POS system for the drive thru and that he has to use the one at the counter. This makes absolutely no sense. I ask him why would you not come to the window and explain that to the customer or great the customer since we are sitting here waiting and he tells me a simple sorry. I hand him my card he goes and charges me and is back within 30 seconds. He hands me the drink( which is a frappe) if you're unaware of what a frappe is like when it has sat for a while it's no longer a frappe it's a just a regular drink without ice atp and to add to that the cup is filled half way with whip cream.( it was a large) This place has terrible customer service and I feel bad for the people that were ahead of me( I could visibly see the woman who was in front of me in her car was upset as well as she drove off) and the people that came after me for visting this place and dealing with this terrible customer service. This was an extreme missed opportunity with customer service and service all around. Simply greeting the customer and explaining the circumstances either on the intercom or at the window would have went a long way with my experience. read more

I usually would go to the Rialto location where the customer service is up to par, and they make my coffee taste good, but again, I decided to try this location because it's closest to my house. Upon arrival, my order was taken through the drive-through, and I had no problem waiting. As I understand, I'm not the only customer who is ordering coffee. I get to the window. The girl wearing a beanie has an attitude. She tells me my total doesn't greet me, and I'm a little confused because I just pulled up to the window. I don't know this person. I don't expect a grandiose greeting, but I expect to be treated with kindness as a paying customer. She closed the window, and I waited for my card and drink. She hands me my drink and card and closes the window. There was no hi, and we'll get that out for you right now. I'm a barista at a full-service restaurant, and I understand that it gets stressful, and sometimes the orders don't stop. Still, it is part of your job description to be kind and greet customers (even if you don't mean it), and I believe that if you cannot handle that, you can leave. I don't know why she had such a bad attitude or if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but it's uncalled for and rude. I also firmly believe that it reflects poorly on the manager and the company because if you hire these people, you believe they can adhere to the job description. I am not quick to give a bad review to anyone, but I am not pleased with this location. First of all, I love CB. Their coffee drinks actually taste like coffee, and they have a great rewards program. However, when I come to this location, they often say that their system is down, so I can't get points. A few weeks ago, I tried to get my points by manually entering my purchase information on their website. It didn't automatically go through, so I had to contact customer service and send a picture of my receipt and wait. After all that, my points finally showed. Then, I visited yesterday, and gave my phone to be scanned, which she did--or pretended to do-- but my points never showed. I didn't realize until I got home that I never got that "Thank you...leave a tip" message that always pops up. Also, by this time, I had thrown away the receipt, so I won't get points for the two drinks I had just ordered. Businesses have loyalty programs so they can keep loyal customers, but this location doesn't seem to understand how it works. I often stop at this location when I'm grocery shopping next door, but I won't be back. I'll stick with the Rialto location. read more

i try not to come to this location too often since they never put enough of the powders- not of matcha EVER or any of the flavor additives to the coffees- and today was the same. i ordered a cookie butter ice blended (i never order my usual matcha from this location) and unfortunately they forgot to add coffee and they didn't put enough of the cookie powder, so i essentially paid $7 for a cup of oat milk and ice. the service is always okay but truly could not be a worse coffee bean location- they also charge like a dollar more than either rancho location read more

My daughter's drink was made first and I waited for my drink while the baristas who took my order was also making drinks just looked at me. I thought my drink was taking time to steep as it was a tea with boba. Then another barista asked me if I was waiting on a drink. I said yes, she made it. She handed to me and I wanted to make sure it was the correct size. She answered with an attitude. I am glad I didn't leave a tip ahead of getting my drinks. Tipping culture is getting out of hand. I love this coffee bean. It's conveniently located right off Sierra lakes parkway in the Ralph's shopping center. I usually get here earlier enough that there isn't a crowd or a long line in the drive thru. Every drink I get here is delicious. This store primarily handles drive thru orders it seems. Unfortunately I was a walk in and just really wasn't all that pleased with the time it took to both place my order, watch it made and receive it. The gentleman who took my order was cheery, chatty and very friendly. He was great. The folks making my drink were my issue. Their movements were extremely slow, sluggish and the workers appeared upset and fed up even. Watching them make my drink, they were very lazy. They didn't pay attention to measurements at all and I wish they had. My drink was a bit off in taste and it also tasted as though their tea had been over steeped. It was far too bitter. So, overall, I wasn't too thrilled by my drink but I was even less pleased with the experience.
