I was visiting a friend and she recommended this place so we got take out and both got The Wrap (mine with onion and bacon), an iced oat milk latte, and the lemon poppy loaf. Everything was SO good and reasonably priced; the wrap was the perfect size for us. The avocado in the wrap had a slight lemon-y flavor that worked well. I really wanted to like this place. I have been there 8 times in the last month since it is on my way to work. 6 of the 8 times it has been absolutely awful. They get my order wrong, they are rude and it's always a different price for the exact same order. Today was the absolute worst. I ordered an iced vanilla bean drink. I love the coffee here. However, service can either be good or bad. You never know what you're gonna get. Some days the coffee comes fast and some days it takes them 10 min to make a coffee. And I would go early in the morning in the drive thru at 5 am with no cars there yet and no customers inside. Some days I would order ahead and my coffee would still not be ready 30 min later even after receiving a text that my order is ready. Today, I ordered 30 min ahead and I ordered three drinks. They forgot to make one drink so my husband waited but saw that no one was making a drink and they were all standing around. Like 10 workers doing nothing so he spoke up and they realized they all forgot to make the drink so my husband had to sit there for another 10 min. Too many workers and no one working. I would still continue to come and grab my drink but please fix the service. read more

Road trippin from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and I noticed KLATCH when we pulled into a nearby gas station. In Las Vegas, one of my favorite cafe's, Salt & Spoon, brews Klatch coffee!! I know this because I specifically asked due to it tasting so good! There is a drive-thru, but I decided to check out the inside of the cafe. Pretty spacious with a decent amount of seating. There's a wall displaying the bags of coffee beans for sale. I was tempted to buy, but I'm rarely a barista at home. ;-) I settled on a Cold Brew and asked for half & half. I was a bit disappointed as I could barely taste coffee. I mentioned it to the kind lady behind the register, that it tasted watered down, and asked if they could just add a shot of espresso; She obliged, which made it a tad stronger. Perfect! We also ordered some sandwiches: Turkey Bacon Club and Turkey Pesto Panini. Overall, it was just a "meh" for us. A bit dry and something I could make better at home. We will try something else in the future, like their breakfast options. I really wanted to love Klatch, as much as I love the cup of coffee served at Salt & Spoon. I went through the drive-thru early in the morning and there was already a long line. It's clearly a popular spot. Their coffee is solid, but I usually go for their dirty chai tea latte. Their dirty normally comes with two espresso shots, which gives it that kick I need. The interaction was quick but the guy working the window was extremely nice and personable. I absolutely love coming to klatch, I've never had a bad experience until today. So I ordered a couple of items I got oat on tap, Crème brûlée latte , a tea and couple of pastries. Everything came out expect of the crème brûlée latte, I waited there and I asked one of the baristas if this was my drink because they just had a latte sitting there and no one else was inside the store. I just wanted to make sure. He replied and said um yea that's what you ordered. So I was annoyed, it was kinda rude. When I took a sip I knew it wasn't my latte because I always get it. So I told the other barista and she said no that's a vanilla latte, so they had to remake my drink and I waited another 5mins. and the barista who I encountered with earlier just looked and rolled his eyes. A guy named Miguel (I'm not 100% sure that was his name, but I know it started with an M) took my order, and he was so kind and genuine. I've tried multiple items here before--the coffee, matcha, and breakfast items--and everything has always been really good. But what stood out today was the interaction. I was having a pretty hectic morning, and while taking my order, Miguel took the time to have a conversation with me. It may have seemed small, but it honestly helped more than he probably realized. It was a reminder to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy the little things in the middle of a busy day. Great food and drinks are always a plus, but great people are what keep customers coming back. Amazing customer service, the cashier I think her name was Elena was super helpful and so nice. This was are first time going trying Klatch coffee and would defiantly get it again, I was really surprised on how good there coffee actually was I was glad it wasn't regular boring coffee flavors. Tried the lavender latte from Klatch Coffee and it was absolutely delicious. The lavender flavor was smooth and perfectly balanced, not overpowering or artificial and paired so well with the rich espresso. It was creamy, lightly floral, and just sweet enough. You can really taste the quality of the coffee, and it felt like a special treat rather than a novelty drink. I've been coming to Klatch on Fontana Drive almost every day for the past five years, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful it's one of the reasons I keep coming back. Recently, though, I've noticed a change. The employee who often helps me, Alejandro (his name tag notes), seems distracted and unfocused. He'll ask how I'm doing and then walk away, and his tone sometimes sounds annoyed or frustrated when taking my order. My eldest daughter made a comment to me and said the Patio Special drink from Klatch Coffee sure is pretty good. I agree with her whole heartedly. I've already been to 3 different Klatch Coffee locations (Chino Hills, San Dimas, Rancho Cucamonga). I wondered where else are they located. Light bulb! I remember there being one on the 15 Fwy on the way up to the Devore area. Luckily, on a Friday night, they close at 8:00 PM per Yelp so we were on our way. Upon arrival, it was hard to see them because they are kind of hidden behind the Del Taco/Shell gas station. There are trees blocking their building. Anyway, I ended up driving through, around, and behind the Shell gas station to get to this Klatch Coffee in Fontana. Surprise, surprise... they have new hours so they are closed Mon-Sun at 7:00 PM, but drive-thru is still open until 8:00 PM. Whew! So happy! We went through drive-thru... it's drive-thru menu is not as elaborate as the menu inside because we were looking for the Patio Special drink and we didn't see it. Anyway, they do have it and that's what we ordered plus 2 Cinnamon Twists (not heated up). I don't care for my twist to be heated up because they get soft and I like my twists on the crunchy side. Both drink and twists were delicious... smooth and light & flaky, respectively. You can't go wrong with them. They are our go-to items at Klatch. Staff was super friendly and pleasant. Thank you so much for the you know what! We appreciate the good humor and you laughing with us. Service was very quick. Exterior was in top shape and clean. This location is very accessible from the freeway and if you're in a hurry, they even have a drive-thru. I like to go in and order, though, because I'm usually ready to stretch my legs and use the facilities after I place my order. My go-to is just an oat milk latte, but I enjoyed their seasonal gingerbread latte during the holidays. If I want a pastry, the cinnamon twist or coffee cake fits the bill. If you are looking for more to eat, they also offer toasts, sandwiches, and breakfast items. There is plenty of seating inside and out. I've been coming here for years now, and I have to say, Alejandro is possibly the worst new hire I've ever seen. He is constantly rude to employees and customers alike. He talks down to people as if they are incompetent and rushes your orders. I was in the middle of him taking my order at the counter when he turned to the sweet barista next to him and started berating her for spilling a drink that HE poured, which was very obviously too full. I asked him if he's always like that and he just ignored me. He's unprofessional, rude, and a dark cloud in an otherwise very happy place. We walked in and waited a couple minutes for an employee to come to the cash register (all employees were outside in a meeting or in the back, I'm assuming doing drive thru orders.) Part of our order took a really long time to come out, I'm talking 15-20 minutes. The food was "meh" and my latte wasn't very hot. Everyone else ordering while we were there seemed to encounter the same issues, waiting at the cash register for several minutes, and then waiting a long time for food and drinks. What really grossed me out, however, was the bathroom keys. In order to have the bathroom door stay locked while you are using the restroom, you have to keep the key with you. There's no way to lock the door from the inside. So this means that people either have to put the cup/key on the sink, on the floor or hold it while they're using the restroom? Then the key/cup just goes back to where people are getting napkins, utensils, straws, etc. That cannot be hygienic and feels like it would be a food safety violation. read more
