At day's end on a cold December day summons hot chocolate to warm the heart. It has been a while that I have trekked to a Starbucks which seems a rash of fading to obscurity opposite their rapid epic rise due to many closings. This Starbucks location appears very modern industrial with a hint of contemporary and large retail space, but contain minimal seats. Disappointedly, there are no Starbucks green splash sticks or stoppers. There is a self-serve station for milk, sweeteners, and napkins. Ordering, waiting time and order fulfillment was moderate as I did not wait long to be served. I did received a sales receipt as proof of purchase. The chalk style welcome sign is a nice image admired. Hot chocolate, tall $4.45 This was served warm, but not their signature piping hot. Therefore, I did not need a sleeve as I can handle the cup with my hands. It did not contain a lot of milk as I tasted mostly water and was very diluted. Upon arriving home I inserted a small piece of milk chocolate and heated in the microwave. Like every other Starbucks - nothing special. Will have your coffee ready in a couple of minutes. They do have seating and a restroom which you'll need a code for. Also, you'll ALWAYS have to ask for straws. read more

There was a lot of seating at this Starbucks, which is nice and sometimes rare to find. It looked like several people were working at their tables. The wait for the drink was just a few minutes, so not too long. I've tried an Oleato drink before at the Starbucks Reserve and loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't think to grab a straw to mix this drink (in the name of being eco-friendlier), and I think that's why it felt a little too sweet to me with the toffeenut syrup at the bottom. Gorgeous location. Definitely a thousand steps up from the previous spot on Continental Avenue. If you do mobile order, you no longer have to worry about your drink being an arm's length away from the main door. Plenty of space in the new location. Mobile order is easily noticeable in the front. Long, wide side space for ordering in person. Beautiful set up and significantly much more space for the staff to manuever and make our beloved drinks. The staff was kind and friendly. One person let me know they had to repour the drink and so it was a bit of a wait. The service has gone down tremendously even the manager has minimal customer service skills. Booked a grande tea via the app 15mins in advance but still waiting in line at the store 30mins for the drink. Im sure ppl got the tea ahead of me and i think someone picked up my drink by mistake. I go to this Stabucks every other day or so. I see that there is a large change over of employees when I'm there. But for the most part the employes are extremely nice. I usually stay there after I've purchased some things and eat there. Starbucks is not nice about using their bathroom at least at this location. Female customer that want to use their bathroom no questions asked. While for male customer there is a different story basically its a no go. I know because I frequent there and I see how it works. Extremely depressing place to be in the morning , the place is too slow today morning the line was not too long still it feels good that when both the cashier register are being used to help customers, the customer service is too poor there we spent so much money and nobody has the enthusiasm to help promptly , an inexperienced cashier was at the counter so slow and so inefficient unbelievable it's like nobody is happy to work there, personally I am a New Yorker but I recently moved back to nyc from Los Angeles, in Los Angeles the star bucks ppl are so friendly and kind and so sweet I felt , in this Starbucks, kids are working but looked so depressed and took their own sweet time to help... it's so depressing to see the people working there, in Los Angeles they welcomed us right when we enter the door and took our orders like as though they cared. I ordered from the APP and waited for ONE hour. This location is absolutely nightmare! So many people were leaving, for some reason they skipped people's order. This location always take longer then other Starbucks, but come on, One hour. How hard is it to put a tea bag in to a cup? Don't waste your time here. read more

Oh man hands down the worst Starbucks ever. The service is so slow. This is the only Starbucks in the area that I would say sucks.

This location is terrible. The orders take forever and the restroom is only available to employees??? It's coffee shop , the least you do is have the restroom available for customers who sit there for a while drinking liquids. There's never any siting. One day I went in there was a homeless man taking up the whole handicapped table and nobody said anything and he smelled. Bad for business but why would anyone stick around they can't use the restroom anyway! read more

The location is perfect and it's nice to have such a large, modern Starbucks in the area. I love the way the store is set up and it's always really clean. There's also ample seating area. This location has a lot of nice touches like a library, plants, and customer of the week signs - it's really personalized and special. The staff for the most part are super friendly but I've definitely caught some on a bad day. The reason I'm giving two stars is because this location is chronically understaffed and out of product. The lack of staff has caused delayed openings, and during prime hours it makes the wait for a drink really long. Similarly, they've been out of certain products, like entire juices, drinks, flavors etc, for weeks at a time. I don't know why this happens but upper management should pay attention to this location because no matter how beautiful the space is and how friendly people are, it's impossible to offer a great service without adequate staff and product. read more

Ok, I really love good customer service. It's a thing with me. This location is a really nice Starbucks. Friendly and fast service. Positive vibe. Definitely a step up from the mostly slow and sometimes annoyed with the customer attitude on 67th Ave. They even tell you where to wait for your drink! "Thanks, it will be at the end of the counter when it's ready". Love it! Little details like this make you want to come back. Not just give you your change and say nothing. Music was entirely too loud. The customers didn't mind because they all had their headphones on probably drowning out the noise. I asked for a specialty tea and they couldn't accommodate me because I could order it in one size smaller. So much for customer service I'll go to the other stores. read more
