It was refreshing and pure joy for calm before the storm prior to a manic work week ahead. My progress for struggle moves moderately in my Sisyphean Task. Ice tea was soothing my mind. Customer service is average. Upon entering there was an immediate line as customers crowd the foyer area undecided. There is no menus hanging displayed anywhere including the cash wrap. The sales associate instructed me to use the ordering kiosk where the menu can be viewed. Woman, there is a big fat long line for that one measly ordering kiosk machine to use! Nevertheless, I ordered my standard default drink without viewing their menu. My drink did not take long for fulfillment, but the physical appearance was surely either a culinary or a libation oddity for the light brown color that resembles brown sugar. (I did not choose nor request brown sugar). Oolong tea is a traditional semi-oxidized Chinese tea in dark color, but certainly not black tea. The ice sustained my drink's coldness as the condensation was sweating throughout my long-haul MTA NYC Transit bus ride home. I did obtain my sales receipt and drink label which replicates Starbucks' drink labels affix to their paper cups for coffee and plastic cups for tea. This business is accessible by MTA NYC Transit M and R local trains at Grand Avenue- Newtown subway station. I practiced walking meditation from Forest Hills to this Kung Fu Tea Elmhurst location.

The chalk style welcome sign is a nice image admired. Hot chocolate, tall $4.45 This was served warm, but not their signature piping hot. Therefore, I did not need a sleeve as I can handle the cup with my hands. It did not contain a lot of milk as I tasted mostly water and was very diluted. Upon arriving home I inserted a small piece of milk chocolate and heated in the microwave. In the past I had always enjoyed Starbucks' hot chocolate, but this was poorly concocted by the barista.

However, the tea didn't feel like an integrated experience, as the cream on the top and the brown sugar on the bottom didn't mix easily with the tea. At $5.50, this was priced the same as its equivalent from Tiger Sugar, but Tiger Hill's version is not as good as the one from Tiger Sugar. Tiger Hill has options for less ice and less sugar, but recommends that default sugar and ice levels be kept for the intended experience.
