Hey! It's Starbucks...One would think what more is there to say about SB?! Well, in the case of this store location, there is plenty good things. Stopped by this location as a first timer today. The service and professionalism at this Starbucks location was exceptional. The coffee was on point and no complaints with my entire order of several items. S/O to the Drive-thru Cashier! She was very polite and made sure everything in my order was correct. She even noticed an item was missing in my bag and quickly corrected the problem with no issues. Not to mention, the drive-thru was super fast. I tend to do mobile ordering or go inside, because drive-thru ordering seems slower to me. Not the case here. There was a line of cars before me but it moved very fast. Overall, an excellent experience! Will be back when in this area again.

Order via mobile app Coffee and double bacon smoked cheddar I go in the store to pick up and I'm headed my coffee but no sandwich I'm still waiting I tell the young lady that there's a sandwich with my order She looks for it then comes back and says: we are out My face: So I go to the register for a refund I must say - this was the best experience that I had getting a refund, even though I had to get in line to do so A young lady saw me holding my coffee while in line and she asked if my coffee was ok I told her that it was and that I was trying to get a refund for another item She alerted someone else The cashier helped I was happy that they were all so attentive I've never been to this location before BUT because of the interactions with all of the staff, I plan on coming back - maybe even tomorrow

Heads-up: you cannot walk inside of this Starbucks. Drive-thru only. This is incredibly inconvenient especially because the sign on the door is so small. You park, walk up, only to see in print you cannot read from the parking lot 'our drive-thru is open'.

There is ALWAYS an issue at this location!

When they are open and fully functional I can highly recommend this location otherwise "'maybe". The service is always good however, it's one thing or another or everything is wrong. The drive-thru is closed ALOT, you can't order ahead or you can only order ahead, the registers are down or they CONSISTENTLY have no power! Ever since they rebuilt it, it's been issue after issue. I wonder what the owner is doing to remedy this situation? I give it two stars because you don't find these things out until you drive there which is a huge inconvenience!

I have been to this location a year ago and the service was spectacular. Since then I have been here twice and has been terrible service. Three weeks ago I ordered ahead through drive thru on the app, but when I arrived the drive thru was closed. So I went inside and I came past the time quoted on the app, and when I walk in I hear them and see them making drinks for each other and what they each preferred for milk. I don't mind if they get drinks but it's 10 minutes after when my order should be ready. I gave the place another try again today and again the service was disappointing. The drive thru seemed to have system issues and it was cash only or gift card. I tell them my order and when I get to the window, they ask if I ordered two separate orders that were not my order (1 drink), so I repeat the order. When they hand me the drink I notice an extreme amount of caramel in the drink covering the whole cup and the bottom filled with caramel. So when I pull forward the lid wasn't closed properly because caramel was drizzled on the lip which prevented the lid to seal properly, spilling in my cupholder. I didn't ask for extra drizzle for my caramel macchiato so that just seemed like rushed service and an obnoxious amount of drizzle in the drink.

There were different types of tables/seating to choose from and everyone seemed to be smiling and in a good mood. They were playing a mix of R&B that included T-Pain, Snoh Allegra, Musiq Soulchild, and Bruno Mars to name a few. They had beautiful paintings of various influential figures in Black art and culture on the walls, and upcoming events shown on a screen behind the bar which I especially appreciated (They have karaoke on Thursdays!) There was also a band set up in the front, and I instantly made a mental note to return for the live music. - I ordered the iced "LCD" latte to drink and the Avocado Smash for a quick bite. I really enjoyed the LCD. I'd consider it to be more lavender forward but I love floral/herby flavored coffee drinks so I was absolutely okay with that. My avocado toast was pretty good and reasonably priced at $12 - There is an easy, laid back vibe so I don't recommend visiting when in a rush. Mix and Mingle is absolutely a place where you want to stay awhile, and I look forward to visiting again

It took a little while before I was greeted, and I feel like they could have been a bit more welcoming and upbeat. I ordered a medium Americano. The cup was fairly large (probably around 12-16 oz), but when I asked how many shots of espresso were in it, I was told just one. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted very watered down. For a cup that size, I think two shots would have made a much better Americano. They did offer to add an extra shot, which I appreciated, but I think the espresso-to-water ratio could definitely be adjusted. With such a cute atmosphere, improving the coffee and making the service a little more energetic would really elevate the experience!

The woman taking my order added "no whip" because she assumed I didn't want dairy at all. When I asked for the whip they, with a nasty attitude, told me I had to pay extra. That didn't make sense to me considering the photo shows whip cream included. They started having a conversation in the back about me for making this simple request pointing out what their menu shows. I then pulled up the menu, waited in line again, and I showed them the menu and the mobile app which both show whip included and which you actually have to deselect it and neither has an additional fee. The woman preparing my order acknowledged that she deselected it on my behalf since I asked for oat milk. At this point - this is absolutely not about the whip cream or the upcharge, it is the abhorrent service, the aggressive demeanor, and the unexplained disdain I was shown when I treated both women with nothing but respect from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out of the establishment. ATP the woman who took my order saw the issue and was going to resolve it by, of course, adding the included whip cream! However, the manager, DJ returned and interfered refusing to allow her to do so & going on a rant directed at me when I was not at all in communication with her. Then, as she was returning my order (which included a tip btw!!) she proceeded to attempt to insult me by saying, "if you don't have 70 cents to pay for this, just say so." For the record, the tip I left was more than the 70 cents so that obviously did not land well. Throughout this dumbfounding experience, I was standing there, my voice calm, not raised, in a store full of my customers (after I patiently waited in line a second time) at 10 months pregnant. We all have bad days, but on so many levels, this cannot be acceptable at any point. To insult someone to try to win a "debate" over a non-issue in an industry where some of us remember "the customer is always right," is despicable at best. I hope someone finds a training opportunity in this, but I will not return to ever find out.

Their bagels are fresh daily and the egg and cheese bagels are packed full with freshly prepared ingredients. I've had their lox and scallion cream cheese many times and they will put 2x the amount of cream cheese to lox - you may want to request for them to go light on this if you like to have more balance. I would also say that for butter on bagel you might want to ask for it on the side. I say this only because the melted butter is everywhere inside the wrapper and can drip out. I love their iced coffee and the fact that they always have simple syrup on their self-serve station. It is a milder coffee which I enjoy.

We ordered the (1) limoncello french toast, (2) BYOB (Build your own breakfast), and (3) HomeGrown coffee cake: -Limoncello french toast: Densely cakey and mochi-like consistency made the french toast a standout to me. It wasn't too sweet, and the vanilla bean creme anglaise sauce was perfectly balanced by the tartness of the lemon curd. The eggs and ham I ordered on the side were pretty standard. - BYOB: The rosemary potatoes and turkey side were AWESOME! I am not a crispy potato person, so I was happy with the softer texture of these potatoes (but my friend didn't like them as much as I did). The turkey was juicy and very flavorful, and an unexpected surprise. The eggs and English muffins were pretty standard. -HomeGrown coffee cake: For $6.5, we were happy with the size of the slice. It a tiny bit too sweet for me with the caramel sauce, but the cake was moist on its own. We felt like we needed 3 people to comfortably eat this size portion. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. We were really happy with our server, the cleanliness of the restaurant (and even the bathroom!), and the ambiance. It was very cute and well-decorated, and I can see it being a great spot for many occasions. It wasn't too loud despite it being pretty full. Overall, I'd recommend HomeGrown if you want a breakfast that won't disappoint. The turkey and rosemary potatoes were my favorite, but I really enjoyed all of the food. I will definitely be back!
