    Sausage bacon egg wrap

This is now my favorite Starbucks. It's easy to get to right off I-77 near Carowinds and the drive-thru is pretty quick here. But service has been friendly and fantastic. Lately I've really been into the Irish cream cold brew and hot mocha latte. I love the cold foams on the cold brews and the fact that they are not super sweet. And I also like to pick up a snack. My favorite is the chocolate croissant. Buttery layers with a warm rich chocolate filling. I also recently got a sausage and bacon breakfast wrap. It was a thicker dough than I expected, but pretty good. Other faves are the feta spinach breakfast wrap and bacon and gruyere egg bites. The only issue I've run into has been the availability of hot sandwiches. On three occasions, they have been completely out and I end up going somewhere else. Pro-tip: Order in the app for quick pick-up.

Unless…read moreyou go on a day that has a special you end up spending ~$10 for a large coffee with oatmilk. The last few times the coffee tasted burnt - okay, I can give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having a bad day. The bragles started tasting more microwaved, thrown inside a horrible tinfoil wrap so it's soggy and chewy and boiling hot. This last visit sealed the deal - I'll never go back and I hope you consider your options before going. My husband went to pick us up 2 large coffees with oatmilk (I have a dairy intolerance and whole milk KILLS me, I'm also breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter who has a dairy intolerance as well) and a turkey havarti bragle. It was $25!!!! I have 1/4 of my coffee and a few bites of bagel before I can tell something isn't right. The coffee was definitely made with whole milk, but even more than that I was VIOLENTLY ill. My husband calls the store to talk with a manager about the coffee being made wrong. They said "sorry, there's not a manager here, we can't tell if the coffee was made with whole milk or oatmilk because we all collectively make the coffees together so there's no way to tell, come back tomorrow to get a new coffee" I spent the day in the bathroom - again with a newborn and 2 toddlers who need their mom at 100%. I call the next day hoping to speak to a manager, I get the same "there's no manager on duty" I told them I thought I had food poisoning and wanted a refund and to speak with someone. The kid suggested I go to "biggby dot com and fill out a complaint because that would be quicker". I told him I'd prefer he write down my information because I'm a mom of 3 and I have food poisoning - I don't need to hunt down an email to speak to someone about getting a refund. (Hindsight he never shared my information because I never got a call) I ended up going online to fill out a complaint. Got the full run around, the owner reached out and apologized - asking questions about the visit and then radio silence for 5 days. I reached back out appalled it had taken almost a week to hear back. The owner got an attitude - saying they had a family emergency and they would refund me. TLDR: go literally anywhere else for coffee, you'll save money and you won't get the wrong type of milk in your coffee.

I've been to several of their locations around the Charlotte area and they all share the same strengths: consistently great coffee, friendly baristas, and a calm, grounded atmosphere that makes even a quick stop feel like a small reset in the day. This particular shop isn't large, and the laptop crowd has definitely discovered it. There are only a handful of tables, so I felt genuinely lucky to land the last open one and settle in with my cortado. The drink was exactly what I expect from Summit every time, rich and balanced and served with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from a place that knows what it's doing. I opened the laptop, got a bit of work done, and enjoyed the rhythm of the room as people drifted in and out. And when the cortado was gone, so was I. It's the kind of space where I felt a gentle responsibility to make room for the next person once I've had your moment, especially on a busy morning. Even with its small footprint, it remains one of the most dependable coffee experiences in the area, and I always leave feeling like the stop was worth it. If you've tried their other locations, this one will feel familiar in the best way. If you haven't, it's a great introduction to what Summit does so well. We ordered a mocha and a latte with oat milk. I had mine with vanilla and caramel, and even added extra simple syrup. Unfortunately, the drinks just didn't stand out. I was hoping to recreate that rich, memorable coffee experience I've had in Asheville, but this didn't quite hit the same. That said, I do appreciate the atmosphere and the friendly service, so I'd be open to giving it another try in the future.

Their hot coffee has a robust flavor, and I absolutely enjoy a flat white or hot latte. Their food is also great, made to order for the most part and you can have it just about any way you'd like. Mentalities of a one time visit to small businesses like these are extremely hard to gauge. Folks these days are SO inconsiderate of "what could have just been a bad phone call" Or have just received "a bad report from a doctor" or something of the like. I too have worked commercially, publicly, corporately and in the face of many officials and higher ups (in customer service) . Just because you get treated what you feel is "less than a million bucks" a nice self-checkup from the neck up might be in order before you go to spouting off about how you feel you were "so mistreated" and that this wasn't good customer service. Tega Cay Coffee / You gals and guys keep up the exquisite work...don't let one bad apple spoil the bushel, because all the amazing coffee, food, smiles, laughter, jokes, and welcoming atmosphere sure outweigh someone who should take the try 5 mentality and instead of ranting because my drink was too sweet (hence chai is naturally sweet to those who drink it anyways) come back four more times to see just how great and grand of a place Tega Cay Coffee really is!!! They have wifi here and I had my laptop with me, so I powered on and checked in on work for a bit which mostly meant sipping coffee, watching people come and go, and sending just enough emails to look like I was being productive while enjoying the quiet rhythm of the place. Parking was tighter than usual today because some construction had blocked off the street spaces and the adjacent lot was completely full, so I ended up across the street in a municipal lot which worked out fine. Pineville almost always has parking somewhere if you're willing to shift over a block or two, and today was no exception even with the congestion. I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.
