Nice coffee shop with a community feel! A good amount of seating and plenty of parking (due to this being on a church campus) makes it an easy spot to meet up with friends or a group. I got two fall seasonal drinks: a PSL and a pumpkin pie chai, both iced and with oat milk. They were well-prepared, ready quickly, and pretty strong & sweet. Service was fast and friendly. Cool to know about the indoor playground right next door too!

This is a hidden gem my husband told me about. It's in a community center associated with Christ the King church. The cafe has plenty of space, free Wi-Fi and coffee and food selections. The coffee has been spot on with non-dairy options and seasonal flavors. My first time I got an iced lavender vanilla oat milk latte. The second time I got an iced coffee and panini and a macaroon for my daughter. The panini comes with chips and was fresh and cheesy. It had a nice blend of sweet and savory. It's next to the free indoor playground so I was able to enjoy my drink and watch my daughter play. The playground area has two small tables but more seating in the actual coffee shop. One afternoon I was able to work while I was there. Everyone has been friendly and it's a great asset to the community.

I love coming here on my day off! I like the variety of food and pastries they have. The staff are nice and welcoming. The service is good and professional, and, of course, the ambiance, besides the coffee, is what draws me.

My second time here and this experience was even better than the first! Last time I came I got a blueberry latte that was seasonal, that was a few months ago, it was pretty good! This time I was deciding between the caramel cookie butter latte and the season strawberries and cream cold brew, and the lady the register told me the caramel cookie butter latte was very popular so I got that iced and did not disappoint!! It was so good, this will for sure not be my last time coming to get that! I also saw they had a spinach and feta pastry, so I got that as well to make myself feel like I was getting something green in for breakfast! Haha that was really good as well! Even though it looks a little burnt in the pic it was very flaky!! It was a few people in there with me, some working, some coming with a group of friends to chat, so really a place for anyone!

This fully enclosed toddler gym is compliments of the Javesca Coffee folks who just opened recently. While I can say their food selection isn't anything out of this world, I will say the service was great and the coffee was good also. To note, this coffee shop is built in to a church so it feels odd parking in a church lot and having to walk down a church hallway to get to the gym inside the coffee shop. I think it's a great idea, but it may throw off some folks who aren't expecting it. The gym area is very clean and they have tables for you to sit and eat while the kids play. A shoe area for the kids to leave their shoes while they play sits at the front of the gym. Overall, it feels safe and clean. Parking was super easy and the staff were nice. Check them out if you want a unique experience while the kids burn some energy for the day. Enjoy!

Their hot coffee has a robust flavor, and I absolutely enjoy a flat white or hot latte. Their food is also great, made to order for the most part and you can have it just about any way you'd like. Mentalities of a one time visit to small businesses like these are extremely hard to gauge. Folks these days are SO inconsiderate of "what could have just been a bad phone call" Or have just received "a bad report from a doctor" or something of the like. I too have worked commercially, publicly, corporately and in the face of many officials and higher ups (in customer service) . Just because you get treated what you feel is "less than a million bucks" a nice self-checkup from the neck up might be in order before you go to spouting off about how you feel you were "so mistreated" and that this wasn't good customer service. Humans (if we can call them such) need to get back to the golden rule - do unto others as you wish to be done unto. Tega Cay Coffee / You gals and guys keep up the exquisite work...don't let one bad apple spoil the bushel, because all the amazing coffee, food, smiles, laughter, jokes, and welcoming atmosphere sure outweigh someone who should take the try 5 mentality and instead of ranting because my drink was too sweet (hence chai is naturally sweet to those who drink it anyways) come back four more times to see just how great and grand of a place Tega Cay Coffee really is!!! A 10 star review from me... yall are amazing!!

Unless…read moreyou go on a day that has a special you end up spending ~$10 for a large coffee with oatmilk. The last few times the coffee tasted burnt - okay, I can give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having a bad day. The bragles started tasting more microwaved, thrown inside a horrible tinfoil wrap so it's soggy and chewy and boiling hot. This last visit sealed the deal - I'll never go back and I hope you consider your options before going. My husband went to pick us up 2 large coffees with oatmilk (I have a dairy intolerance and whole milk KILLS me, I'm also breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter who has a dairy intolerance as well) and a turkey havarti bragle. It was $25!!!! I have 1/4 of my coffee and a few bites of bagel before I can tell something isn't right. The coffee was definitely made with whole milk, but even more than that I was VIOLENTLY ill. My husband calls the store to talk with a manager about the coffee being made wrong. They said "sorry, there's not a manager here, we can't tell if the coffee was made with whole milk or oatmilk because we all collectively make the coffees together so there's no way to tell, come back tomorrow to get a new coffee" I spent the day in the bathroom - again with a newborn and 2 toddlers who need their mom at 100%. I call the next day hoping to speak to a manager, I get the same "there's no manager on duty" I told them I thought I had food poisoning and wanted a refund and to speak with someone. The kid suggested I go to "biggby dot com and fill out a complaint because that would be quicker". I told him I'd prefer he write down my information because I'm a mom of 3 and I have food poisoning - I don't need to hunt down an email to speak to someone about getting a refund. (Hindsight he never shared my information because I never got a call) I ended up going online to fill out a complaint. Got the full run around, the owner reached out and apologized - asking questions about the visit and then radio silence for 5 days. I reached back out appalled it had taken almost a week to hear back. The owner got an attitude - saying they had a family emergency and they would refund me. TLDR: go literally anywhere else for coffee, you'll save money and you won't get the wrong type of milk in your coffee.

They offer a lot of drinks and food and have lots of seating. The outdoor area was beautiful and relaxing-ish (they can't help the cars driving by). I ordered a zucchini quiche and nitro coffee, my SO ordered drip, cortado, and empanadas (Patagonia, spinach, and breakfast). I thought the cortado was delicious. The drip was very weak and the nitro bitter. The quiche was just slightly over salted. I liked the spinach empanada, but found it heavy on the salt too. The Patagonia was pretty delicious and had great flavor. When I took a bite of the breakfast empanada, I couldn't name any of the ingredients in the filling. Overall, gave me the caffeine boost and sustenance I needed, but I probably wouldn't return.
