This Peet has unfriendly employees, especially at night. They don't seem like they want to work and I feel inconvenienced when I order drinks one hour before closing time. I've come here several times because it's a good halfway point between the sales reps I work with and our two offices. The last two drinks I've had here, the Havana latte have been very bitter and disappointing. I think next time we'll walk to Starbucks or boba tea instead.

This Peets on E 3rd St is pretty chill. The staff accommodated my request for my Match Strawberry Frappe (a new members only drink-short limited time to preview). There was the matcha, strawberry puree, choice of milk, and I asked for cinnamon to be sprinkled on top(!). Hey, this is a treat for my Birthday! Time to celebrate, right?

It is interesting that they use cold brew to create black tie, which is kind of like vietnamese ice coffee on the on the weaker side. I enjoy it more than Vietnamese ice coffee because it's very strong. Service is a bit slow because it only have one barista while many people are ordering. I like the interior. It ferl cozy.

Haven't been to this location in some time and wanted a coffee and a pastry before they closed at 7 pm. Considering it was 20 mins before closing they still had some pastries on display in which I chose the almond croissant along with my coffee but forgot to ask that they warm up the pastry since it had been there since opening.

Got coffee here. We like major ducks sons blend and prefer to have it fresh ground. We have never had any problems at this location. Always fresh blends and good coffee. Customer service is good. Quick friendly and to the point. It can get busy. Also was seems to have a constant flow of coffee goers.

This location has outdoor seating . This location makes some strong but good coffee. Very consistent in terms to Peets coffee standards. The white chocolate mocha was delicious. The art work inside was awesome. I will rinse and repeat at Peets outside downtown in a seat.

This is my favorite coffee shop to stop by early in the morning when on the way to work. I will stop here sometimes to get coffee. The parking is not a problem at all especially in the morning. The staffs here always so courteous and smile to customers. This coffee shop sometimes can be busy even before 7am. But the line goes fast. So don't worry about might waiting too long. The latte they made usually taste smooth and alright to me. Not too hot or too cold.

You can barely see the employee, but she's awful
    Gloria M.

Walked into Peet's, excited since they had no line. We ordered a hot chocolate, caramel latte, almond croissant, and banana nut bread. Let's start with the awful lady at the register, she's so rude. She kept correcting the way my husband was ordering his coffee. As I was ordering she cut me off and asked the customer behind us if he wanted his usual coffee, um ok I'm glad you have regular customers but finish an order at a time. When we ordered the pastries she seemed irritated that we wanted them warm. Now let's get to the food/drinks The caramel latte was ok not the best/ my husband asked for caramel on top and the lady said to wait but I guess she forgot Hot chocolate was horrible, I mean I took a sip and threw it out Almond croissant was flavorless, tasted as if it was previously frozen Banana nut bread was super dry Needless to say we will not be back to this location

Soggy sandwich and bad service. The employees are not good at their job because they'll make you wait while they talk. Go to Philz instead.

The space is clean, modern, and aesthetically nice, but it is pretty small and not really the type of café I would hang out at for hours. It reminded me more of a busy boba shop where you grab your drink and go. We came around 1 PM and waited about 10 minutes. They only allow around six people to queue inside, so there was a pretty steady line of people waiting outside. This place gets BUSY. We tried the black sesame iced latte and a single origin pour over. The pour over was easily a 10/10 for me. I love light roasts that are super fruit forward, bright, and almost tea like, and this was exactly that. The barista was also incredibly friendly and even shared his recipe with me, which I really appreciated. The black sesame latte was one of the drinks we kept seeing on social media, so obviously we had to try it. Unfortunately, it was not our favorite. The black sesame tasted pretty grainy and bitter, which clashed with the sweetness of the coffee rather than complementing it. I would probably give that drink a 3/5. One thing I really liked is their whole bean selection. They had a ton of freshly roasted coffee available, including beans from Hydrangea and Black & White. Overall, Kaizen gets a 4/5 from me. The pour over alone is enough to bring me back, but I was expecting a little more from their black sesame iced latte

We got the last one of the croissant, so I can only imagine how fast things run out. Baked to perfection - flakey and not dense at all. The croissant did get a bit too sweet over time. There's two tables inside and one bigger one outside. It can get a little crowded with everyone waiting for their drinks. I'm glad I got to try it! I'd come back - lots more to try. I ordered the lemongrass pork jaw rice. There were only about six pieces of meat, and the lemongrass was chopped into very tiny pieces and mixed into the sauce. The problem was that the lemongrass was extremely tough, almost like small pieces of tree branches, and impossible to chew. I had to spit them out, but because they were chopped so finely and mixed throughout the sauce and meat, it was very difficult to eat. If this is how they prepare the dish, they should reconsider the way they cook and serve lemongrass dishes--or consider removing this dish from the menu. I also waited about 30 minutes for my food. After such a long wait, I expected the food to at least arrive hot, but it was already cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while because there weren't enough staff to bring it out to customers. The table service and cleanliness were also disappointing. There were no staff available to clean the tables, and I actually saw customers moving previous customers' dirty plates to one side and wiping the table themselves. Our table was also extremely sticky. The restaurant really needs to review its food delivery process. Instead of having staff run around the dining area trying to find the right table number, they could simply have customers pick up their food using an order number. This would probably make the process much faster and more organized. Overall, the food was just so-so, the service was slow, and the whole restaurant felt very unorganized. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.
