Cappuccino and the banana pecan loaf

Popped into Starbucks for a quick break and grabbed a cappuccino and the banana pecan loaf, it really hit the spot. The cappuccino was smooth and not too bitter, just how I like it. Steve made a really good coffee.

I live close by this Starbucks, for me it became a good place where you can work leisurely over a cup of cappuccino

Off Alma Lane and Foster Square Lane, you'll find Starbucks. Both with indoor and outdoor dining. Service was friendly and efficient. I received my tea in good timing. On a beautiful, you can walk down Foster Square lane to the nearby park.

this starbucks has seating outside and inside. just a few tables available inside. got my usual. noticed cold brew nitro on menu. may try it sometime. brew: dark roast (m. 2.65) -going back to dark roast, has more body with little harshness. -service quick, few patrons in early afternoon.

Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino and Double Chocolate Frappuccino

The Starbucks on Alma Ln and next to PJCC has contined to get worse with their drinks. I decided to give it one more try but only got another dissappintment. Walking in 13 minutes before closing, they had the drawer of the cash register on the counter. I stood between the two cash registers to see which one they wanted to use. One staff member took away the drawer and another staff member came to take the order. They could not find the drink name "double chocolate frappuccino" and asked if it was the "chocolate crumble frappuccino," so I said no. Then they asked another staff member for help to look for it. Both frappacinos I got were missing about half of their flavors, and the ice that was used seemed to be very old ice since they were only watery after blending. At the end, the barista also squeezed in the whip cream before putting the lid on, so the whip cream was not as nice looking as I have seen in the past, and the barista had to carefully and clumsily put the lid on with a large scoop of whip cream floating. One drink was double chocolate frap and it had the flavor of a cold hot chocolate, lacking the rich chocolate flavor that usually comes with a double chocolate frappuccino. The other drink being matcha green tea frappuccino was the lightest color I have ever seen, so maybe it was missing one scoop of matcha powder, and it tasted more like a cup of whole milk with slight matcha flavoring and way too much sugar syrup. I doubt that the recipe was being followed for both drinks. We used to go to this Starbucks a lot since it's nice and the closest. They used to have great customer service as well. Then we tried the Starbucks on Metro Center Blvd across from Costco and the Starbucks at Bridegepointe Mall (not the one in Target which is also one of the worst) and got to compare what a 5-star Starbucks can taste like with friendly baristas. I had to go to the Starbucks on Alma Ln because the Starbucks on Metro Center Blvd sold out their matcha.

Starbucks in Foster City on Alma Lane is adding coffee grounds to your coffee. So disappointed! It's disgusting!

    Sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich

This is not a coffee review. I don't drink coffee (it doesn't do anything for me). Any time I go to a Starbucks is because my fiancée wants a coffee. According to her, this Starbucks is average. They aren't very consistent getting her order correct. They are always willing the correct the mistake, but it's still annoying to try and get it fixed. My review is based solely on a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The best way I can think of describing it is as a "healthier" tasting version of the McDonald's breakfast sandwich. I enjoyed it because it didn't have a greasy taste, and it was nice and fluffy. It came out very quickly which nakes me assume it wasfrozen or premade to some extent. It could have been all fresh, but I have no clue. I just know it tasted pretty good.

I've driven by this place a hundred times and there's almost always a line of 20-30 people outside…read more This morning I decided to wait in that line. Super funny that the couple behind me commented that they go here all the time and there's never a line. After about a 40 minute wait, I got to the cashier at around 10:20am. Half the pastries like the ube brioche were already out so I opted for just the lattes. I played it safe and got the Tahitian vanilla latte. I will say that it's good quality coffee. Didn't need to add sugar. It didn't come super hot though so as I took it away, I downed it pretty fast! I got my mom and aunt the ice latte version of the black sesame and the brown sugar. Sounds like both were good as well. The black sesame wasn't sweet, which was to my aunt's liking. Inside, it's very clean and not crowded. What helped is that there is a sign that tells the people in line that only 6 people at a time should line up inside. If I have the time, I'd line back up. 4.5/5 stars, but I'll round up.

There was a sign that said only 6 ppl could wait inside to order, but I already counted 8 so figured they weren't enforcing it yet. Unfortunately, right when it was my turn to order, they ran out of beans and had to dial in a new batch. That alone added at least 30-40 minutes between waiting to order, and waiting for the coffee to come out. We got the caramel miso latte and the black sesame latte with an ube brioche. Can't say I loved either latte, nor the brioche. Everything was just decent. I was more impressed with how many ppl came here! I did enjoy seeing the baristas at work though. I'd say if you got here at even 850am, be prepared for a long wait. Can be even longer depending on whether they need to dial in new beans. Definitely not a good place to get a quick coffee before work.

I got an iced HK style coffee + milk tea which I've never had before but was so delicious. I'd definitely come back to try the other fruity drinks too! we ordered the tom yum noodles, preserved vegetables & pork noodle soup, salt & pepper fries, and the HK style french toast with peanut butter. the french toast was our favorite- it was fluffy and chewy and was just like the HK classic. the noodle dishes were both so hearty and flavorful too, and the portions were a good size. it did take a bit long for everything to come out, but it did seem like there was only one person working and she was very kind and accommodating when we had questions about our order. we didn't mind at all, especially sitting outside and enjoying the view! overall, I'll for sure be back for the drinks and to try some other HK style street food.

Or, maybe Kazka can upgrade from the camping utensils and serving plates for a slightly more elegant experience...it didn't quite fit in, yknow? First up Hong Kong French toast. It was delivered deep fried as expected, but it was really oily so maybe the oil wasn't quite hot enough? They also forgot the condensed milk but did run it over later. We also didn't get it stuffed so maybe it also would have been better if we did? I've had better variations. Next up, the bbq pork plate. This was actually pretty good! Their homemade cha siu was tender and tasty! Egg on rice is also a classic staple here but I also felt like it was missing just a bit of something, maybe more juice from the pork? Idk, I really like when the fattiness of the HK deli meats coats the rice. Lastly, fries. Pretty standard but piping hot and fresh! I could appreciate it. The yuzu thinned out the mayo considerably but the flavor was really good still. I think I'd return. There were some combos that were already sold out when we came so we should probably give it another go.

But dang it....I paid nearly $11 for a Good Morning Burrito (ham, eggs, tots, a ton of cheese) that was only the length of my iPhone 14. Great taste but I was hungry still. Plus I wish it had come with some sort of salsa. There was a hot sauce bottle, bulk size, that was almost empty so I said meh. A homemade salsa would be a nice touch. My daughter got a vegetarian omlette which was basically a mushroom omlette. That seemed a good size but basic mushrooms and they had a side of spinach with some sort of dressing which I was sure was just mayo. There were a sad four tots on the side. She didn't like her matcha latte and my Vietnamese coffee lacked kick. They are well situated to serve the area and clearly have regular business.
