I've been coming to this Starbucks location since I was in High school. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Today I stopped by get my daughter a Strawberry açai. I've been craving a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso for the longest time ever but I'm always hesitant to order one because every time I do order one it's never right. Today I decided to finally order one and oh my goodness, it's delicious. Best one I had in soo long. So shout to the barista who prepared my drink today. It's perfect, I wish I got a venti lol. This is one of the friendliest Starbucks crew I know. They all know me by name and I know them by name. They have great indoor and outdoor seating. This is a very busy location so if you want a place to sit that might be a problem. That of course can't be help by the Starbucks since they have so many places to sit, they can't add any more. read more

Haven't been to this store in years. It was super clean and got my order really fast. The guy who rung me up was really helpful. This Starbucks is so so in my opinion. The customer service is always a hit or miss. Sometimes the Baristas are very unaccommodating and other times they are helpful. They usually get the drinks right but sometimes they give you a hard time for their mistakes they clearly make when making your drink wrong. Some of them get very defensive when being corrected. Too many spoiled rich Sunny Hills Korean HS kids come in here with their noisy selves and wanna be thugs with their pants to their ankles that smoke in the back. Korean kids who's parents prob have no clue what their kids are doing. But other than that it's a decent Starbucks to come and work and study if it's not between the hours of 3 and 8 when the kids all come in here. read more

I think if you are a Starbucks junkie like myself it's hard to find anything wrong with any Starbucks locations, but what I like to call MY Starbucks is definitely the best one around. I really like this Starbucks but no more and somewhat less than many other locations. It's an extremely convenient location to my home, so I go here most often. The staff is always very friendly, orders are always accurate, and the process is smooth. This Starbucks does NOT have a drive through, which is a bit inconvenient for speed if you're looking for a drive through... especially considering that parking is extremely limited. There are plenty of spots behind the Starbucks or in the lot by the bookstore, but spots right by Starbucks are extremely difficult to get and always full. Likewise, this location is ALWAYS crowded!!! There is NEVER any space to sit inside. It's always completely full of people who take 2-3 chairs for themselves and their stuff instead of allowing additional people to sit at the one communal table they have in the center of the store. You have better luck outside, but outside seating doesn't have air conditioning or power outlets to plug laptops in and work. Overall this is a decent place to stop in and grab a quick cup - especially if you preorder with the Starbucks app - but not a good location for staying and doing work. read more

I ordered a Carmel Mach. With pumpkin and brown sugar and oat milk. They gave me cold brew with regular milk. Pure laziensss. I only know cause cold brew is more bitter than a shot of espresso in that drink. Neither of the pumpkin or brown sugar was in there as well. I order this drink 24/7 minus the pumpkin when not in season so I knew something was off. Disappointed just because a barista didn't want to brew an espresso. It was not busy either. read more

Walked in with my family and was looking at the menu when a tall male barista with curly hair walked up, did not greet us (tho the only other barista, a female with tattoos didn't acknowledge us either) and asked if we "were ready" in a very annoyed tone even tho we had JUST walked in. We told him we were not and he told us to call him when we were ready still with a VERY annoyed tone. When we finally received our drinks they were the wrong sizes and were very weak. With horrendous service like this, we might as well go get coffee from 7-ELEVEN. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. I'm literally beyond pissed about my experience today. And if the employee hadnt been so shady about it I would've let it go, but she straight up was so ignorant. This afternoon (3/21/2017) around 1pm I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and 2 splendas. The guy who took my order was cool, no problems there. I waited for my drink over at the pick up counter. The young girl barista (young, light skin, wearing some sort of polka dot dress thing) picked up my cup and quietly said the ingredients that were marked on the side ("iced coffee, almond milk, splenda"). She reached over to where they keep their packets of sugar, splenda, etc and then quietly said to herself "no splenda?". Now, she said this quietly but not quietly enough because I turned around once she said it. Now, I turned around to face her because I THOUGHT she would call out my name and then say something like "We're out of splenda, would you like something else in the drink?" But NOPE. She just shrugged to herself and then grabbed 2 packets of bright pink Sweet & Low and put them in the cup. She made the rest of the drink and then called out that it was ready. So I'm still right there and I say "oh thats mine. Is this with Splenda or Sweet & Low?" She all of a sudden acts like she didnt just make the drink, and in an awkward tone says "um, i think it was with 2 splenda..." Another barista guy was there too and quickly chimed in. He pointed to where she grabbed the packets and said "That's Sweet & Low." So then all of a sudden she gets all nice and says "I can remake your drink if you'd like." I declined, mainly because it was like really? You think I really want you to make me another drink after I just witnessed you straight up cut corners and then basically lie about it? Again, I wouldve let this go because I dont care about the difference between Splenda and Sweet & Low. But this young girl just made the whole situation worse. I normally always go to this Starbucks for the Pumpkin Cold cream brew and get good customer service. Today was the worst and rudest day there. I didn't feel like starting an argument, but one of the workers was giving me attitude. I politely asked for extra vanilla syrup because I normally prefer sweet drinks. The worker was asking if I knew what I was doing by adding more syrup. I asked for 2 pumps of Vanilla, but it honestly seemed like he didn't. He had only pumped one and hadn't even stirred the drink. I always order on my app because this starbucks seems to be one of the quicker ones in the area. They always have a good selection on food and the employees are always really genuine especially for having to deal with some real cruddy people early in the morning. It seems to me that if you know what you want and you order it the right way, you'll have no problems. It's when you start to order fancy stuff and then you're pissed it's taking so long because there are about 15 other people in line with 3 baristas??? I used to work in this plaza so this was one of my go-to spots when studying after work or sometimes before my way to SuperOne Mart. - After 3pm weekdays, it can get pretty busy. Lots of HS kids swarm the plaza. - Tables spread out. Conversing isn't an issue for geeky science chat - Tables outside. Nice enough to study. - If you get tired of this starbucks, you can always go to Barnes and Noble starbucks.Vice Versa. For some reason you would think that the coffee from all Strubcks taste the same but they do not. The one in Amerige taste better than others for some reason. I like a nice dark roast or their Blond. The dark roast here has more flavor than the other Strabucks I have been to. Is this just me? This place does get super busy. Especially during the times school is out as many high school and college students like to come here to hang out and study or just mess around. This place is always busy though and is always flooded with people. If you are looking for a quiet place to go to study or meet someone, this is not the place. If you want to go to a coffee shop that is loud with a bunch of young kids running around then you have come to the right place. The service here is good. The workers here are friendly, and work hard busting their butts off for you. Again, this place is super busy, and the workers do their best to make sure the coffee comes out quickly. I enjoy their their breakfast sandwich here. It's pricier than next door but it's much better. The English muffin is super soft and chewy, the sausage is juicy, and the just overall good. Considering that this is there are three Starbucks in Amerige Heights, it means a lot that most people are rating this location with 4-5 stars. It's a good location--minus all the Sunny Hills high school kids still smoking on the non-smoking patio area. They have comfy seats indoors and outdoors, which is nice because I don't want to be sitting on a cold metal chair outside when all the good seats are taken inside. I live next to this Starbucks. Unfortunately their customer service sucks. The guy in the glasses is a d-bag, but he's never friendly anyways. The heavyset brunette isn't any better. They either hate their jobs or don't know anything about customer service. Actually, I think it's a mix of both. It closes at 10pm. If you're still in there even a second over 10pm, they'll harass you. My apologies. Be sure to completely leave the premises. Don't even stay in front of Starbucks, as they'll stare you down and blast the music outside as to scare you away. It's quite terrifying. read more

Not a bad place to study. Lots of room, and ofcourse being next to coffee is huge. Things were a little slow here. I wrestled a little for how I'm supposed to rate a Starbucks. Normally service for this franchise is consistent. This goes the same with flavor of the coffee. Not that I really like their expresso even, not a fan. But that's not why we go to Starbucks is it?
