Cold Stone is my favorite ice cream, & this location is my favorite! It always tastes fresh & they are usually generous with portions, not stingy like some of the other locations. I feel like Cold Stone flavors in general have gotten more subtle than they used to be (e.g., the coffee tastes very similar to the sweet cream which I think is the base for most of their flavors), but I still love it. It tastes like fresh, natural, high quality ingredients & isn't too sweet. I love the coffee, banana, strawberry, cake batter, & sweet cream flavors the best (there are probably more I'm forgetting). As much as I love cold stone, I don't think i'd return to this particular location. The customer service here really lacked for me. There was initially no one when we entered and this location also refused to do mix ins a for a kids scoop. Every other cold stone location I have been to has done mix ins for a kids scoop. The employee tried to throw the topping on top of the icecream and they all fell off and I asked if she could mix it and she said it was impossible because the kids scoop is too small. Very strange! I also want to note that there is no where to sit at this location and we had to wander over to starbucks just to have a seat at a table to enjoy our ice cream. Disappointed to the max! My sister gets the same custom cake for her birthday every year. This year, it was my turn to order and get the cake. I ordered it online for pick up at a location I never go to... That was the biggest mistake! The cake was ordered for 1:00pm pick up. I showed up at 1:20pm and no one was inside. I waited at the at the register and no one came out. I had to call for someone to come out from the back. I told her I was here for a pick up order. She grabbed the cake from the back and handed it to me. As I took a look at the cake, I was shocked! The custom writing on the cake was RED not PURPLE! Worst of all, the writing was HORRIBLE! As I was gasping in shock, she disappeared to the back. I had to call her back out and tell her that the writing was unacceptable. She mentioned that it was because the cake was small, apologized, and disappeared again... Terrible customer service! However, I needed a cake so I took it and left. When it was cake time, I apologized in advance and told my sister that the writing was not in purple and the writing looked terrible. She took a look at it and was sad and a little upset. I absolutely love Cold Stone. But this place in particular pissed me off. Worker decided to give less toppings than standard size when I ordered the largest to share. She dumped more ice cream to compensate so the whole thing really just tasted like a tub of vanilla ice cream. To top it off, she charged us an extra dollar. The size is $10.99 and she asked "Cash or Card?" which we said cash. We found out we don't have cash and the price was changed to $11.99 and she said "It doesn't let me change!" I haven't ordered cold stone in YEARS and decided to give it a go. Did a pick up order for a regular scoop. Get my cup of and the "mix in" included a single glob of cookie dough, one Oreo cookie, and one peanut butter cup literally sitting on top of the ice cream. Best cold stones I've been. The store is clean, workers work really hard and polite. Got myself an Oreo overload and founders favorite. Not too sweet... just right! The portion sizes are good too. I had a really disappointing experience at Cold Stone that I feel needs to be shared. I arrived about 10 minutes before their posted closing time, expecting to grab a quick treat, but the doors were already locked, and the lights were being turned off. Their posted hours clearly said they should still be open. What made the situation even worse was the behavior of the staff inside. Not only did they ignore us, but they actually laughed when they saw us standing outside. It was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. And we weren't the only ones there were several other people who showed up as well and were also shocked to find the place closed early. No sign on the door, no explanation, no apology. Just a bunch of customers left without no explanation while the employees laughed and went about their cleanup. I get that people want to go home at the end of a shift, but closing early and treating customers like an inconvenience is completely unacceptable. If you're going to shut the doors before your listed time, then update your hours or at least be courteous about it. This was the exact opposite of the fun, friendly experience Cold Stone is supposed to offer. I won't be returning to this location, and I hope management addresses this kind of behavior. This establishment has terrible customer service. We stood in line behind three groups of people for over 45 minutes until it was our turn to order. Two DoorDash orders were given priority over customers standing in line. No acknowledgment of standing customers. We will never go back. There was one woman preparing ice cream and running the register at the same time. If I had a choice, I wouldn't give this place any stars if my life depended on it. My friend and I came here after dinner because Coldstone is one of our favorite dessert places. My friend got her love it bowl first, but let me tell you first and foremost how disanitary this place was. The man making our ice cream did not have any gloves on or any type of hairnet or hat on to keep the hair out of his face. He was making ice cream for another customer before he started my friend's, he didn't even wash his hands before starting on my friend's. Gross!! And he was dealing with receipts and touching other stuff with his bare hands. Who knows where else his hands have been? After he finished my friend's, he worked on mine and he was peeling the banana and because he wasn't wearing gloves he tried not to touch the banana, but the banana fell into the dirty watee where the spoons are. The man peeled another one but also decided to pick up the one that fell into the dirty water. Absolutely disgusting!! And he didn't scrape the surface after he finished my friend's or before staring on mine. There were chunks of brownie and peanut butter in my ice cream, which was total opposite of what I got, which was sweet cream, Nilla wafers, which he didn't even know what those were, and banana. All I'm going to say is thank God I don't have a peanut allergy, because that would be a lawsuit right there. After I had a bite or two, I ended up throwing the rest in the trash because how bad it tasted and how it made me gag knowing how the ice cream was made. It was my first time here at a cold stone ever and the worker was really helpful. There were many flavors but nothing really stood out and the taste was kind of bland in my opinion. My bf had gotten a scoop of strawberry ice cream mixed with Kit Kat in a cup. I had gotten the sweet cream mixed with a brownie in a waffle bowl. The waffle bowl was so stale and hard I almost chipped my tooth.... I highly do not recommend any waffle cones or bowls bc they can break your tooth.
