Sea salt strawberry green tea
Selene S.

Got their sea salt strawberry green tea for their ongoing magnet promo. They had them in stock still, thankfully. The wait time for drinks was about 10 min. They were already busy at 10am on a Saturday. Limited seating inside but plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. There are two kiosk to order drinks from. Our drinks tastes pretty good but had too much ice. I went to another location and they didn't put this much. They also barely put any sea salt foam. It was pretty disappointing.

I have to say this is THE BEST 85 degrees bakery I've been to. Every time I visit my parents, I make a stop here to check out the new goodies. They always have the viral bread here. Service is excellent but it's a bit small. People will try to squeeze in there. My mom who use a cane almost fell because someone tried to squeeze in. So I will say that the customers can bit a tad bit rude but customer service here is good. The place is always crowded and lively especially at night when everyone tried to get a dessert for the night or breakfast bread. The place is nice and clean. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Perfect treats after a nice kbbq or sushi dinner.

I don't really frequent this location much. My friends and I were having dinner next door and decided to get some deserts. We got a few pastries and were thinking about getting a coffee. Mind you they close at 9:00pm and based on receipt we were there at 8:26 pm. We asked if the coffee station was still open. The cashier reluctantly answered with "yeah" which was in my opinion very unprofessional. We are very easy going people so we joked around with her but then she continued with "do you really want to do that to the barista? She's already cleaning up" it left a bad taste in our mouths.... But highlight of the whole experience was after we bought our pastries 5 different groups walked in after us and 3 of those groups bought coffee and teas, which made us laugh. Quite the redemption for a bad experience.

One of my favorite cafes for something sweet. They have a variety of pastry and drink options to choose from. Sometimes the drink options are a bit overwhelming, but thankfully the 85 bakery team is always happy to recommend something if you feel unsure of what to get. They always make sure to provide decent customer service. What I love most and always look for when trying a new cafe is a relaxed vibe. I just want to enjoy my drink and pastry in peace. This location always exceeds my expectations.

This cafe is pretty consistent with their drinks and pastries. It's a place I'd go to satisfy my sweet tooth. Service is good and it's usually easy to find a seat to enjoy my goodies when I'm there. My go to pastries are their taro and choco bun. My favorite 85 drink is their grape fruit green tea! Yum!

Upon my first time entering 85 degree I was very impressed. Not only was the bakery very clean and well put together but also the service and staff are very welcoming and nice. You have fresh baked goods then you also have some fridge baked goods as well. They also have hot chocolates and other drinks for this cold weather. I got some warm butter bread and also a couple of freshly baked cookies and a hot chocolate. They have a lot of chairs and tables so you can study or just hangout and relax. Thank you 85 degree bakery and staff for the awesome hospitality. I will definitely be back and refer family and friends.

Burnt pastries...
Reagan L.

Been coming to this 85c for years. Unfortunately, the quality of the baked goods has greatly diminished. The consistency and quality of the items coming out is horrible. So often, the items are over baked and even burnt. What's worse is they still put it on the shelves, expecting you to purchase them. I really wish someone in corporate office will visit these shops and retrain the staff.

This location is in a very popular area so if you can first manage to find parking somehow then you're in for a treat. I can really appreciate this location for actually having a functional self-serve kiosk for drinks cuz it really cuts down on my wait time. Pro tip: order your drink first and THEN go in line to order the rest of your pastries and cake. Like all other 85C bakeries, there's always a variety of freshly baked goods. The team here is really sweet and attentive. If you don't have an account for their rewards membership I highly recommend it. They always have a great monthly treat and it always brings me right back! (11/50--2025)

*Red Velvet 8"

We brought the Red Velvet Cake from 85°C to our lunch celebration and it was a huge hit. We accidentally dropped the cake in the box (totally our fault) but it still looked beautiful. The cake was moist with a light cocoa flavor, layered with creamy vanilla cream cheese frosting. Fresh berries, red velvet crumbs, and white chocolate made it as gorgeous as it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly, and the place has a quick in-and-out vibe that makes picking up treats super easy.

Peach green tea with lychee jelly
Eileen F.

Placed two drink orders today one medium and one large Peach green tea with added lychee jelly and one pump of syrup. When my drinks were ready there were two medium drinks- I let the barista know I ordered one large one medium he takes one medium opens it up and put it in a larger cup added a little extra tea and one pump of syrup- after we left and I begin to drink it - it definitely didn't taste the same and I was disappointed. While waiting for our drinks I was going to get some cheese breads but every single bread the cheese was burned- when I asked if they had lighter ones the lady putting the bread our rudely responds that's all we have- everyone seemed pissed off today for some reason. Outside patio area was a bit dirty. Not sure if this is 85 degrees responsibility or the shopping centers.

I've gone to a few 85 Bakery and this location is quite nice. Located in the heart of this hustle and bustle plaza. I went around 12 pm and they have all the breads fully stocked. There was quite a variety and some new flavors that I have never tired before. Wish they had the squid ink bun because I love that one. The store was nice and tidy and offers your bread, cakes, and also drinks. The gentleman named Felix who helped me at the POS while checking out was very nice. I had a question about Thai tea and he was able to answer my question by asking another co worker. He struck a conversation with me while I waited. It was a pleasant visit and I got what I wanted in and out quickly.

I had never tried Botox before in my life, but I decided to get it for the first time yesterday as well. I don't think the results have shown yet, so I'm planning to post a review once they do. Since we were already in Orange County, we stopped by a bakery at the Source Mall. I bought several pastries there. The fresh cream bread was very delicious. I didn't try the custard cream bread because my younger brothers ate it, so I can't really comment on the taste. I also haven't tried the pecan pie yet. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

On July 5, I arrived at the store around 6:50 a.m. to pick up my order, but the staff could not find it. After checking, they told me that the person who took my order on June 28 had written it down incorrectly as a 6:30 p.m. pickup, not 6:30 a.m. Even though they admitted that the order was written incorrectly on their side, they told me I would have to wait about 30-40 minutes for them to prepare the original items. I had to pick up my order and leave right away, so I ended up taking different replacement items instead and got money back the price difference in cash. What was more disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. I did not receive any apology from the bakery that morning, so later that day I called the store hoping to at least hear a simple "sorry" for the inconvenience. The employee on the phone only asked questions like who took the order and why the price difference was paid back in cash not card, and never offered any apology. Because of this, I went back to the store in person to speak with the manager or owner. The owner, pretending as manager, told me that the order slip showed a 6:30 p.m. pickup time, not 6:30 a.m., and insisted that there was no fault on their side. She didn't say sorry but just blamed the one who wrote wrong. I explained that all I wanted was a basic apology: they had written the order time incorrectly, I could not receive what I originally ordered, I had to take a smaller replacement order, and then I had to visit another bakery to buy more items to make up for the shortage. Even after explaining the inconvenience this caused, I still did not receive a sincere apology. The lack of responsibility and basic customer service in handling their own ordering mistake was very disappointing, and that is why I am sharing this experience here.

I also got their chocolate chip cookie which was thick. It tasted very similar to a scone and not really like a buttery, crunchy/chewy texture of chocolate chip cookie that I like. A bit bummed that neither dessert wasn't something I liked. Also they don't have any drinks, which is also a bummer because milk or coffee would have gone great with the desserts.
