I ordered pickup on the way to see my sister. I parked in the nearby larger parking lot as their parking lot is very hard to get in and out of because of the tight spaces and drive thru line. The set up here is terrible. Do not plan on ordering from the drive thru it so hard getting through especially if it's a long line, there's just not enough room. I love Starbucks coffee. Seems like one of the only coffee places that has coffee with conviction. I decided to review this location specifically because when I went to the counter, I asked for a venti Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew, which is my drink of choice at the time. The barista told me the most they could do is a grande, which I've been told because it contains a lot of caffeine, but I'm a caffeine veteran so I require it. Lol. Anyways, I say ok. I go to this Starbucks often as I work down the street. I went there last night 7/26/23 and ordered a brown sugar shaken oat milk espresso (which I order at least 2x a week) at the drive through and this girl hands me basically a full cup of oat milk! I brought the cup inside and asked them to make me a new one all I could take was oat milk! The girl got an attitude then told the girl who made it the problem and that girl got an attitude saying " she can just wait for a new one" then walked away to clean. I waited there for 10 minutes trying to be patient until I had to ask for a refund and the manager came out and remade me the drink with an attitude as if I was troubling her! I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. I have always had a great experience going here, they have always been delightful to talk with and super helpful if anything was incorrect and there was only once and it was the wrong size and the barista right away made another one in the right size but that was no big deal and it was very small and easily fixed! I've also always had a good experience with my service dog. They always give him a pup cup and it definitely makes his day. read more

This is one of the nicer starbucks I've been through in terms of lay out. There was a fair amount of seating, and plenty of space to stand, out of the way, while waiting for people if you weren't planning on sitting there. Despite a long line, the baristas managed to move quickly and be friendly at the same time. I ordered a medium, wasn't corrected. Later in the day I ended up back here again, and found the drive through to be running really well to. Other than that - it's a very regular starbucks with what you've come to expect. read more

It's a Starbucks so you pretty much know what you are going to get when you walk through the doors... A smiling batista: a well made coffee, espresso or tea beverage: and the ambiance to help you forgot the hustle and bustle of the outside world. This location is pretty spacious with various areas to sit and meet with others or pull up a counter stool and watch the people pass by. I am taking one star away for the parking/drive thru situation which is horrendous. It's almost if not as bad as the Southington location. This location sees a lot of foot traffic but finding a parking spot can be tricky and backing out of a spot can be down right impossible if there is a long drive thru line, which is especially true on weekends. My suggestion it to park across the street and walk over or park in the garage near by to avoid having your canine fix ruined by being stuck I you car as your coffee grows cold. read more

This is an outstanding Starbucks, one of the best in the area. It has a unique interior and really welcomes you in to enjoy a coffee. The service is pretty good. Now the bad news. The drive in turn is horrible, but it does go through quickly. Learn to cut the turn so you don't do damage. read more

Beautifully REDESIGNED. Well done. It was closed for renovations and what a lovely NEW interior. More room for patrons to COMFORTABLY be seated. Stylish furniture. GOOD TASTE is in evidence from this store's decorating team. Most Starbuckians have visited a variety of venues. [One in Rocky Hill provides wooden parson type tables and utilitarian wooden chairs, with a few comfortable pieces. I could barely sit for two minutes. OUCH. ]. I digress. This Glastonbury store now shines. For those on line in their vehicles, it remains an extremely tight fit and cars parked in front of the store can not depart if the line is longer than a few cars....but, and there's always a but. PARK your car and walk in. Plenty of parking in this multi-store area, but one need walk two minutes to its front door. Ohhhh nooooooo, dearhearts. Best of good success. read more

I hate reviewing national chains like 'Bucks, but something has to be said here! They've got me by the balls, so I'll keep coming back regardless, but this location has, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the slowest drive-thru system in the history of drive-thrus. I have no idea what it is! I can only assume that once they take your order, there's an elf inside who personally selects your coffee beans, 1 by 1, and then grinds them to perfection, one at a time. There is no other explanation for a 20+ minute wait when there are 3 cars in line. That is NOT an exaggeration! Once you finally get your over-priced cup of joe, it will be tasty, but you'll also be approaching bed time so I doubt you'll have time to drink it! Big FART for this location. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks. The staff are what make any one Starbucks better than another. This Starbucks we had a poor experience. When we ordered three drinks, the first one was not correct. People are imperfect and EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES!!! My husband says "I ordered a mocha latte". The man working turns to the woman who took our order, and says "He says he ordered a mocha not caramel." Then the woman says "HE SAID CARAMEL!!" Very loudly as if we could not hear her. It's little things like this that are just unnecessary, and rude. As a frequent Starbucks customer, a gold card member and teacher, Starbucks is one of my favorite places to meet friends and get drinks. Today I forgot to mention milk and asked the lady to put some milk in my coffee and she told me to get it from the station where they have sugars and milk. Come on - people gladly do that at other locations. That same lady was cleaning the bathroom when I was leaving the place. The door to the lady's room was open and locked to the wall and she told me to take the lock off and use the bathroom. I really don't want to come back to this starbucks. Poor service. I come here a lot when out and about, this starbucks is right off the highway. The main thing you need to know is if you want to go Inside, park not directly next to it but diagonally in the next lot. The drive through is one lane, it is always always packed and once you get in that line you are stuck and can't leave that line. If you are parked by the door the line of the drive thru will block you in and there is nowhere the cars can go to let you out. I've seen people get stuck so be aware. I really wish they fixed this or had this line go the opposite direction so people do not get stuck in their parking spot. Horrible set up. The staff is great and the inside is clean and we'll kept and lit for you to hang out and read a book. read more

This is the Starbucks that I go to the most. Normally for drive-through. The inside is really nice, and there are plenty of seating options. The food and drinks are standard fare and as expected. The only consistent problem is parking. If there's a long drive-through line, do NOT park right out front. You will be stuck there until someone lets you pull out. During the day, there's usually plenty of parking in the lot to the left of the Starbucks. On weekend nights, parking spots are hard to come by because this is next to several good restaurants. read more

Messed up my order twice. I ordered a tall cappuccino and when I came to the window the lady handed my a large iced coffee. I told her it was the wrong one. She then handed me a tall hot drink. After I pulled away I found out it was just coffee. I had to return and ask for a cappuccino which they took a long time to create. Starbucks doesn't need to be reviewed as a company, and this review is for the location only. Let's start with the staff, since the handful of full-time regulars inspired this 10 minute diatribe. I have been to a LOT of Starbucks (haven't we all). 20 states, various stops in one town alone, but never in my whole life have I ever found the current staff to be as rude as they are. To say they can't be bothered is an understatement, as if they are part of an indentured servitude who don't get paid to do what they do. They apparently have had their tongues cut out, since advising me of my total is too much of an undertaking. Forget saying hello; I had one barista not say a word to me as she ripped my debit car out of my hand, thrust the drink at me, and then hand me my car with no receipt. If I wasn't a regular, I would have no idea how much the coffee was. They whole staff has an attitude problem, which is fine since Glastonbury has other Starbucks. The building itself has the worst drive thru ever conceived by mankind. If you have any car that doesn't contain the word "compact", you are screwed trying to make the sharp turn to get to the window. The parking is equally atrocious, so you end up *hoping* there is space near the underground garage should you dare to go in. Now I understand there is nothing they can do about the building at this point, but I am happy to report I will no longer be going to the stop since the staff can't get their act together. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Every other Starbucks I've been to during COVID has created a workable system that keeps up with health regulations. This one cannot function and I've never been without having to wait at LEAST 15 minutes - doesn't matter whether you walk in or go though drive thru. This one is unique as it has a drive thru. I never use it because I don't feel it's any faster then just parking and walking in. I've gone multiple times in a week, especially when the Internet was down at my house and I came for a drink and the free wifi. I love PTL sweetened definitely, it's my favorite cold drink here hands down! My hot drink is white mocha. Every time I've come to this specific Starbucks, I've never had a problem. They are great at making my drink, taking my order, the atmosphere is quiet and calm, and one person is always cleaning out where the customers sit at all times!! If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I come to this Starbucks nearly everyday, and they're nice (or so I thought)! I walked there from Riverfront Park and arrived at 8:20pm on a Saturday. The door was locked. I saw someone (an employee) go in the other door, so I followed. I got in and I was told "Sorry, we're closed." I replied with "Oh," and walked out. The employee could not even be polite and say "have a good night" or something? Rude. Upon looking it up, I discovered that they close at 8:30pm. Therefore, in conclusion, I was scammed by the lazy employees who wanted to go home (and probably smoke weed or something) 5 minutes earlier. read more
