When I get that one, I'm told they're out of the toppings for it. That's why I hate tipping before I get my order. I gave her cash, but I should've waited because when I said. I'm going to be very specific in the hopes the owner sees this. I walked into the building a little before noon on 10/30/2025. No one was in line and the lady working the register turned and walked away as I walked in. I stood in front of the pastry display and a tall, heavy set white guy walked by and said they would be with me in a minute. He went to the storage room. Right outside the storage room was a medium height African American young lady propping on a broom and a green haired white young lady eating the very scone I wanted to order. They stood there talking about going to jail for awhile. I looked around to see if anyone was working. The drive through guy was standing around looking bored. (I think there was one car in the drive through when I pulled into the parking lot.) There were several customers sitting around working on computers, but it appeared they already had their orders. I'm not sure what the lady that had been working the register was doing. Maybe she and one other barista were actually preparing the drive through order. After standing around for a few minutes, I turned around and walked out. I was back in my car at 12:05. If the chit chatters were one their lunch break, they need to be told to get out of the customer's view. After seeing on the news that Starbucks employees want raises and are making all kinds of demands, I had to post this. They should fire them and start over. read more

When I come home to Louisiana for the holidays this is always a must stop routine for me. I'm a last minute Christmas shopper and this location is right outside the Tanger outlet. I don't know how it always is but when I come Christmas Eve the line for the drive through is out the parking lot and down the street. And it is slow moving. So now, I order my drink on the app, park outside of their typically full parking lot, and get my drink. There's always a line inside as well. My drink is always ready for pick up and the coffee is good and hot. I'll be back for my yearly trip. read more

I visit Starbucks at least once a week ; the service , the food and the delicious ice coffee drinks keeps me coming back but today the series at this location was below average. I had a birthday reward on my app and I wanted to use it but the cashier stated she's never used the reward (bonkers) who has never used a Starbucks reward and work at Starbucks! The drinks once completed were stacked on the counter with someone whispering the names , the lady next to me stood there 5 minutes not knowing her drink was sitting on the counter the entire time! I personally think the workers should want to be at work instead of treating the customers the way they feel inside. The wait was ridiculous because the orders were all screwed up! Once we finally did receive our drinks they were good! I recommend try this location either early mornings or late evenings . read more

So, I order coffee here about 3 days a week, never on Weekends anymore, because they never have enough staff. and like Holly described when there is 6 employees, they are unorganized and bumping into each other, no order or function. Last week it took 5 minutes for one of the 6 employees to come to the counter, and I heard 4 of the six as they passed by the counter said "someone will be right with you". I work as a Manager, and like to bring a traveler or 2 to work by 6am. I tried in past and today to order 2 travlers for work, and no surprise the app stated that they were out of stock. so when I called, got no answer after 5 attempts and phone just ring and ring. I decided to drive there. When i got there, an employee stated that they could make one, and would be 25 min. So I told them the app did not let me order, and that this wasn't the first time. They told me they just "got the shipment in for them this morning." to me I don't believe that, cause every time I try to order, won't let me order, and no one will answer the phone. Like I say, this starbucks is the worst for business, I don't understand what goes on there. Cannot wait till DUTCH BROTHERS comes to Soledad.. I'm done going to this place, they are one word.. This small Starbucks is on the edge of a huge outlet mall. Entry to the Starbucks is on the right from the entrance. Exiting can be an issue during peak shopping periods. Coming during the holiday season is also difficult, as people may want a refreshing drink while shopping. The parking lot is small, maybe 12 spots, but you can park across the street at the outlet mall. If you are going during the holidays, I suggest ordering through the mobile app when entering the outlet mall, and going in. If you order inside, be aware that the priority is for the drive thru. The drive thru line can be long. The day after Thanksgiving, I have seen the line be at least a quarter of a mile long. They definitely need more help during peak shopping times. My most recent visit, they did have a now hiring sign up, so that is good. The restrooms inside almost always need attention, with cleaning or supplies. Just be warned that this location is in need of some help in almost every way. read more

I've stopped here twice now, once on my way to New Orleans from Baton Rouge because nature was calling and once when I was staying in the area so I've done the walk in and the drive thru. Walk in experience- Parking is tight and very limited. The restroom was clean on my visit which was around 10am on a Wednesday. I got a green tea this time and it was what I've come to expect from Starbucks. It's good enough but I'm not going to go out of my way to give them all my dollars. If I'm going to indulge in overpriced drinks I'd rather do it locally at PJs. That being said, this location is super convenient and right off of the interstate, so that's a plus in my book. Drive thru experience- This soured me on this location for good. First of all it's slowwwwwww. There were maybe three or four cars ahead of us and it took forever to order and get to the window. This gave us a chance to observe the douchiest guy in Gonzales though. He was open carrying his gun all loud and proud and had a strut that only guys with no game whatsoever have. Surprisingly a woman got out of his car but not surprisingly he made no effort to open her door or wait for her while he was walking in. Classy. Once we reached the window there was no hello, thank you, you have a nice day too. The iced coffee I ordered did the job of providing the caffeine I needed and the spicy chorizo, jack and egg breakfast sandwich was not very spicy but filling and I did enjoy it. The phrase "it is what it is" definitely applies here. read more

Starbuck's always seems to serve the exact purpose that I need it for, when I need it! I came here en route to NOLA, but needed to get on a call and use wi-fi. So, ordered one of their nitro cold brews because I just needed a pick-me-up (and fast). They were busy, but Starbucks usually seems to know how to handle a rush. Customer serve was swift and breezy and I got my drink in no time. I sat down at one the high-top table and was easily able to get on their wi-fi, too. Have you ever had their nitro cold brews? It was frothy and yummy! I could have had another, but definitely didn't need another + it took me a hot second to even finish the cup that I ordered. This Starbucks was also fairly clean and parking was easy to come by. It's right next to the Tanger Outlets, so come get your caffeine rush before or after your rush the stores. read more

The staff are nice but seem really under trained which is made worse by the fact this location is often slammed in the morning and often with car loads of tourist who seem unfamiliar with Starbucks as crazy as that sounds. What that makes for is long waits in the morning if you are trying to just grab your coffee and get to work. The other issue is the nastiness of the restrooms even at 8 am they are often filthy. I'm not a fan of chains and I'm not a fan of Starbucks. This Starbucks didn't have lemon for my iced tea so I felt I had been sold an incomplete product. When I ordered my unsweet iced tea with lemon the fellow taking my order replied, "we don't have lemonade" and I repeated that I just wanted unsweet tea with lemon and he again said, "we don't have lemonade" so again I said loudly (in my best army command voice), "I just want a slice of lemon with my tea" and then he miraculously understood the English language and told me that they don't have lemons. I like my coffee dark black with nothing else in it and my tea unsweet with noting but lemon and Starbucks tries to sell you God awful concoctions full of sugar and all manner of other atrocities to nature that should never be consumed. Starbucks and I just don't get along in general but if you're going to sell iced tea you better damn well carry lemon wedges or I'm going to be extremely unhappy and put you on my one star list! Tip: Hey why not carry lemon and teach your staff to understand English and stop injecting all that sugar as clearly its rotting your brains or impacting your hearing? read more

This Starbucks is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS crowded!!!! In an effort to be proactive, we ordered from our phone thinking it would save us time......NOPE. We pulled into the parking lot and couldn't even find a spot to park. The drive thru line was wrapped around the parking lot as well. Once we parked and got in, the line inside was just as bad. And of course, we had to wait....and wait....and wait some more. We eventually were told the system didn't print our ticket and were refunded for our drinks. I appreciate the compensation but our time was most important in this instance. Something seriously needs to be done so this place can better accommodate customers. The system currently in place is NOT working. C'mon Starbucks, we expect more from you. Especially since we are dropping so much money every time we stop by. Fix this please!! read more

The bathroom at this Starbucks is pretty gross. The only I stop here is to purchase some purchase some merchandise I need. The sink and toilet looks like it needs some delimer or really strong toilet bleach type cleaners. I just don't understand why the toilet and sink are disgusting. Do you ever find yourself driving to Baton Rouge from New Orleans? If so, this Starbucks is perfectly located at the point where the drive becomes so exhaustively boring that you need a pit stop. Because of that, I used to stop here every time I went to BR. I would even follow Highway 30 the long way around to avoid the traffic on I-10. Fast forward to current day, and I rarely drive I-10 to BR which means many less stops here. A couple of weeks ago I was scheduled to attend two days of training right up the street, so i became reacquainted with this location. Like all Starbucks, this location was very clean and well staffed. The issue was the amount of people here. It was totally filled with people inside and the drive thru line was even longer. It took much longer than normal to get my drink, but the staff were friendly. If you're driving through, or in the area and need a coffee fix, come here. Just be prepared to wait. read more

This Starbucks branch used to be my favorite go-to; lately, however, I can't seem to get what I order no matter how long the wait. For example, I ordered a Venti Matcha Green Tea Latte this morning (it's on their drink menu) and received a Venti Latte with 1 scoop matcha powder instead. (And as can be seen in the pics, my cup wasn't even full of whatever drink was in there...) It was disgusting. I noticed the mistake at work and couldn't go back to let them know. What could I possible add..this is your typical Starbucks chain coffee. Gets me through the day when I'm in the area but I certainly don't make a special trip for it. This location is small which is surprising for the location next to Cabela's and Tanger; I would think it would be much larger for these 2 reasons. Usually I will go through drive through for lack of seating. They do have outdoor seating area which faces the interstate and Hwy 30 which is a disappointment. I've always had good service and good coffee. I am a café au lait connoisseur so I may not be the best to rate however I do feel it is a decent cup of coffee. This location also offers a limited menu but we still do not have a full service menu location in the area which is something I am hoping for in the future. read more

Stopped by on a road trip. We all wanted coffee and needed a restroom break. It was 7:40PM and the staff had locked the door and refused to let my elderly father in to use the restroom. When asked about being open until 8:00 PM we were told the drive thru was open. I asked to let my father go to the restroom and was told no, they had to "deep clean." I guess they could not deep clean at the scheduled time of closing? Really poor choice Starbucks kids. Please have some adults run this store and perhaps your ratings will go up?
