I was there today to pick up my mobile order around 9:30 AM after waiting fifteen minuets with three cars in front of me when I entered the drive-up window a Starbucks employee was lasting out at me being rude about my long wait time. She acted very inappropriately like it was my fault of being a good Customer. I will never return to that Starbucks again and that employee should be fired. I spent over five hundred dollars a month with Starbucks and I my take my Business where its appreciated. I had the most unbelievable experience here the other morning. I ordered my drink, it wasn't made. They asked me what I ordered, I told them. They said they didn't have the order and just stared at me. I asked them if they could make it and it started the most bizarre back and forth. They refused a couple of times and only agreed to make it after the manager - Cathy - stepped in. They talked about me the entire time while making it. As I am leaving the barista yells sarcastically "have a nice day" and the other yells "your mother!" Horrible employees. read more

If you go to this Starbucks, plan to sit in the drive-thru forever. They are ALWAYS out of stuff. I've tried to order the new Strawberry Funnel Cake Frapp four or five times now, but they're always out of some part of it. I still haven't tried it and it's been out forever! Yesterday was the final straw for me though. I sat in the drive-thru for a total of 26 minutes. It took 11 minutes just to reach the speaker, and once I did, what did I see? A long list of all the things they DON'T have. Out of ALL Frapps...wth? WHY was this not also posted at the start of the drive-thru?! Where people can see what they're out of then turn around before pulling in and being TRAPPED in that line? Once you enter their DT, you're in it to the end. Sure, I could have ordered nothing, but I was sitting in that line regardless, so I might as well find something I can drink. I don't appreciate being forced into it, though. I would have left as soon as I saw they were out of all that stuff, if I had been given the chance. That being said, the staff has always been nice at this location (hence 2 stars instead of 1). Very friendly and polite. I know most places are understaffed right now, so I don't mind waiting longer for things, but I DO mind not being given all the information before getting in line. When I asked why there wasn't a sign by the dumpsters before you're committed to the DT, the lady said there was one, but someone stole it. Mmmm, yeah...ok. Then PUT UP ANOTHER ONE. I received horrible customer service at the drive thru window. The worker was upset that I pulled up to the window at 6:54 when my drink was promised at 6:53. She made me wait in the parking lot for someone to bring it out to me. It was one drink. A co-worker apologized for her poor attitude. In terms of the best Starbucks in my area I would say it's between this one and the Norwich one. They are both pretty speedy in terms of the drive thru which is where I end up most days due to having my kid with me. The staff here are friendly some more than others. The service is fast and the coffee that I order is always made well. I have no complaints about this location. read more

This is the slowest place I've ever been too. If you only get drinks, it's just like any other Starbucks. But if you're on a schedule don't bother getting food. I waited for 20 minutes (after the time the app said it would be ready by) for one unheated piece of coffee cake. This is, y'know, a Starbucks. I had a super weird experience here though. I placed my drink order inside and waited. It was busy enough with drive through orders and online pickups that I wasn't sure if my order got lost in the shuffle. After ten minutes or so, I peeked over the counter to see if I could identify my drink being made because I didn't want to pester them if they had just not gotten to it. I saw my drink was in-process. Cool. I waited. I drank it. Afterwards, while I was finishing my bottled water, a manager approached me and said one of the employees thought I was recording her. (If it matters, I am a woman too.) I was surprised and said I was not recording anyone, just had my phone-wallet in my hand while I waited for my drink. He left and came back with a second manager and they asked me to leave because the employee was having anxiety. I've never been asked to leave a business before, and it's a bummer this was the first time because it's the coffee shop on my daily walk. So, three stars for standing by their employees and making normal drinks. Minus two stars because I can never go back, I guess. I still have no idea what they thought I was up to. read more

It's not the best but it's not the worst either. Staff is usually friendly. Had one encounter with the barista (no, not the drive through lady who was kind but the barista who made the drink) she got major attitude when I sent the drink back to scoop some ice out of an ice coffee drink that I ordered with "extremely light ice". She told me "this is light ice" and gave the drink back to me. I do not do well with conflict, but it takes me forever to drink cold drinks due to teeth sensitivity and I always order the Trenta iced coffee, no classic. The glass was over 3/4ths full. She refused to hear me out and wouldn't remake the drink. Instead or arguing I just left. I got home and poured the coffee into a normal cup and it was already slightly watered down. Overall I realize it may be stupid to complain about the amount of ice in a drink, but when you take over two hours to finish a grande and wel over half the day for a larger sized, I don't feel it's that bad to ask for next to no ice in your cup, not almost filled to the top. read more

I'm dropping my review by a star because although the baristas are friendly and the drinks always seem to be made accurately--I have had even more outrageous wait times--every time. 30 minutes at the drive thru. (And you're TRAPPED once you're in the drive thru--there's no way out.) 15 minutes in the store while FOUR customers who came in after me (and ordered the same type of drink) were served before me. I'm really getting annoyed with this place and I don't understand why corporate doesn't bring in someone to help them learn to expedite. It's not that difficult to call out a drink while it's being ordered and begin on the drink right away. I really hope they speed up a bit and I don't have to stop coming here altogether. read more

Yes, there's usually a long wait if you're using the drive through. If you're a Starbucks fan then it might not be so annoying. I can't think of a time I was there & it didn't seem like forever to get my order. From my few times inside it seems like they're well staffed & I've been to busier locations without issue. This use to be a quick Starbucks to go to, but in the last few months it takes forever. I'll usually be the second car in the drive through and easily wait 10-20 min for a single drink (without the car in front of me ordering more than a drink or two). Tonight, I placed my order, waited 15 min to finally get up to find out they were washing their decaf espresso machine at 6pm. If you close in a couple hours, wouldn't this wait? I imagine I'm not the only person who wants a decaf latte at night. It's too bad you're stuck in line once you're there, I'm sure more people would just get sick of waiting and leave. read more

Very disappointed with this Starbucks. Managers I've seen multiple times outside the store as their employees struggled to get orders out the window. We spent over 20mins in drive thru for 2 blonde lattes one time. Many other times had to pull out of line and forget about it the wait time was atrocious. The employees working were trying their best without help from management. Even after asking for management we were told they werent there. Just awful. This has been going on for a long time. This Starbucks represents more than just a giant corporate coffee shop chain - every time I visit it brings me home to the west coast.
