No. I asked if it could be remade with less sugar. Also no. What I got instead was, "I made the drink so I know it's less sweet, and it's just how it tastes." No apology, no alternative, no interest in the fact that the customer standing there was telling them the drink didn't work. The whole exchange was uncomfortable and came across as dismissive. Whether the recipe was followed correctly isn't really the point. If "less sweet" still lands sweeter than Starbucks, the setting needs recalibrating, and telling a customer that's just how it tastes isn't an answer, it's the end of the conversation. Two suggestions: figure out what "less sweet" should actually mean on this drink, and give staff the latitude to fix it graciously when an order misses the mark. Ambiance of the shop is nice, but how can it not be nice when it's at the Venetian shops right?
