Went in this morning, usually I go to the standalone Starbucks on 49st and 4th Ave but the line there is always ridiculously long and my experience isn't always pleasant but earlier today I decided to pass by THIS Starbucks to see if they were open since the mall was closed but to my surprise, they open up even if the mall is closed ! Which is amazing. Overall great experience, had a pleasure of meeting the assistant manager Leo. She was amazing to speak to, super sweet and knowledgeable, very easy going individual. Kudos to her for being so up and positive especially so early in the mornings. Definitely made my morning. 10/10 experience ! They also made their own little drinks and twist things up which I found to be super cute and a cool way to attract customers, attaching the photos so you guys can see. read more

Wanted to order a Holiday drink and was told they didn't have the crunch needed for the drink. So I ordered a Carmel Frappuccino, without caffeine. The person at the counter didn't tell me they were out of caramel drizzle, I overheard her tell the person behind me. So I asked to cancel my order and was given an attitude by the workers. Welcome to Westland Mall, Starbucks! It's about time. With everyone being obsessed with coffee in this city, especially when shopping, this was an absolute necessity. Unfortunately, they picked the worst spot for this Starbucks. Rather than putting it in a food court, they put it inside Macy's, right next to LensCrafters. In fact, LensCrafters downsized to welcome Starbucks. I wish I could say this was a great idea, but I'm not so sure. Yes, I love Starbucks and I'm glad they placed one in the mall, but it's tiny and how are people supposed to find it? Is it even on the directory? I know they have signs by Macy's, but eh, what if a person isn't going to Macy's? How is this Starbucks supposed to get business? On the off chance that their business ends up booming, this Starbucks is tiny. So tiny that I don't think they have outlets to plug in computers or to recharge a phone. They may as well have made this place a stand. I don't know honestly. Everything tastes great here, but I'm not sure if this Starbucks has a future. I mean, anyone but me remembering the Starbucks across Westland Mall? Time will tell - for now, three stars for you, and a lot of wonderful wishes; I hope you prove me wrong and stay forever. read more

When I used to work at this Macys location about two years ago, I was around when they first built this Starbucks and it was such an amazing investment that Macys did for their employees and customers. Perfect place to get your morning coffee or a small pastry before starting your day. Even now as a regular customer, it's nice to grab a cup of coffee or a refresher while shopping through the store, or simply sitting down after some retail therapy! My go to is always a passion tea lemonade or a matcha green tea. As for food, I'll order a little protein box or a spicy chorizo sandwich which is super delicious!! read more

Please, save your time and go to another Starbucks. The poor employees have not been trained properly and lack customer service. I went in today for two Green Tea Frappuccinos, one classic & one without with coconut milk. LUCKILY I was watching what they were doing and the young lady that was making the Frappuccino's because she did NOT know what she was doing. First, she was using regular whole milk for one of my orders and when I asked if she was using coconut milk or regular milk she looked at me worried and hesitated to answer me. When I asked again she admitted to using regular milk. I told her that I asked for coconut milk on both and I had to even ask her nicely to rinse out the cup with the regular milk before putting the coconut milk, she was already going to mix the coconut milk with the left over regular milk in the cup. Also, before I forget to mention, she put the regular milk BACK into the milk container to use again... her and the other employees looked at me annoyed for correcting them on my order. She then proceeded to make the Frappuccinos and again, I asked for a classic and one no classic (if you aren't familiar with these terms it just means one is sweet & the other is not) she made both of the drinks the exact same and when I questioned her on that she again hesitated and then proceeded to lie to me and say that they were what I asked for, one classic and the other no classic. At this point I was annoyed myself & pissed off. I looked at her and told her that she did the exact same thing for both drinks and yet she lied to me in my face. This Starbucks inside Macy's at Westland Mall is probably the worst that I have been to in a long time. Staff is extremely rude and facetious. My wife is allergic to dairy and asked for a little pour of either almond milk or soy in her coffee after she had paid. The barista said "Sure, you'll have to do the line again and pay $1." In front of my wife, the barista served another customer skim milk from the large jug behind the counter. It is outrageous that Starbucks wants to charge $1 for less than a tablespoon of almond milk! Why should lactose intolerant people pay more? Also, they had some products advertised, including coffee from Guatemala, and they were just brewing one type of coffee (Pike Place, which is terrible!). My wife asked if they could brew the Guatemalan coffee that was advertised on top of the coffee maker and that she would wait no problem. The barista said that they were not going to do that. Bottom line, I am flabbergasted by the poor quality of customer service at this location! read more

The employee Kaitlin is the sweetest thing on earth and I love the way she makes her drinks. Amazing!!

Personnel are very rude. Drinks including frosted coffees are just water and sugar. Despite they accept Starbucks application to charge you, they do not like to honor Starbucks coupons and Happy Hours invitations received throughout the same application. There is always an excuse not to serve water to any body, they charge you for a cup of water, really disappointed experiences on Starbucks in Macy's at Westland Mall Hialeah. read more
