I usually go to this SB in the mid afternoon; and I've never had a bad experience. I usually go inside, but even the drive thru doesn't take a long wait like the other location. The service is much better now then it was maybe 2 years ago. I do see more people here as time goes by. The staff is always friendly and I'm glad they finally have a good crew on staff. read more

I'm dismayed at the strange new customer service English "Have a nice rest of your day," instead of, "thank you." "I'll help who's next in line," "Would you like anything else at all today?" I don't know if the other SBs are like this, but the workers here assume all customers are regulars and aren't comfortable with someone like me who can't figure out which of the fancy iced coffee drinks I might want for a change. Usually in a coffee place I order coffee (just a cup of coffee) or an espresso. Simple. But I like to drink out of ceramic ware, cup and saucer, a cup of coffee or an espresso cup. That probably sounds terribly old fashioned to you, but it would be better for the environment than all the trash generated by the disposable alternatives and it would make sitting down for a coffee more pleasant. They do this all over Europe, and they used to do this all over America. Since I had to get some big disposable plastic cup anyway, this time I thought I'd try one of the tall exotic coffee drinks that everyone else was drinking (taking to go), but the counter workers couldn't explain them to me, couldn't describe them, and in fact had the strangest look of panic when I asked about them. Never go to this Starbucks. The incompetence and lack of logistical reasoning is immense. We ordered through the mobile app at 4:46pm for a quick caffeine pick-me-up before hitting the road. When we at the Starbucks, we went to the front door to pickup our mobile order. Instead, they forced us to join the drive through. It was a mile long, wrapped around the perimeter of the building. We ordered two cold brews. They require no prep. And we had to wait behind all the people ordering at the kiosk. There is even a median trapping your car in the drive-thru line even if you wanted to bail because you're short on time. We waited in the line for 40 minutes. The drinks were old. If you aren't going to treat mobile orders different than drive through, then don't have mobile orders. Do not waste your time and money at this Starbucks. It will most certainly be nothing more than a waste of your time and money. read more

I have never been more disappointed in a Starbucks. Went in at and placed my order at 2:30. After waiting for 11 minutes they finally called my name just to present the wrong drink. It was a hot mocha. They go oops and "remake" it. I didn't get my beverage for another 7 minutes. They made something iced that doesn't even taste like the peppermint mocha. The tea is great, very consistent with other stores. But they were out of the first three sandwiches I asked for. I had only a little time for lunch, so thought I'd pick up a sandwich with my tea. Every time I go to this Starbucks I ALWAYS have a problem! Last time I was there I got my fiancé a black coffee and they didn't put the lid on tight. I got to my fiancé's work and the kid popped off! I buy a lot of coffee from a lot of Starbucks around the country. This one is in my hometown. I mobile ordered to pick up and work at home today and my "no ice" iced chai came with a full cup of ice. I asked her if she wouldn't mind just taking the ice out. She did and I was left with a $7.24 half cup which tasted awful. I even stopped at a time they weren't very busy! There are a lot of great coffee shops in Holland and Zeeland, MI. I need to be more intentional about giving them my business so they prosper. read more

Literally the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to and every time I go there they're just as slow as the last time. Don't go there even if you have 25 mins before work because they will definitely take longer than that almost every time you go there. They don't do mobile orders, they're seemingly never open, wait times to fill orders are the longest I've ever spent at a Starbucks and now they've closed their lobby. If I could give a zero star review I would but I cannot. My sister and I went to this starbucks to get drinks. We waited about a half hour for one and then another (generous) half hour for the other and it was never made so we left. I was literally sotting there for an hour and no one ever asked what I was waiting for or anything. One of our drinks was sitting on the counter the whole time and remained empty. No one seemed to know what they were doing. I asked for a skinny caramel mocha iced... fairly standard, however it was made hot! When I let them know the drink was made wrong I was given attitude not an apology as if it were a burden to remake the drink. (It wasn't busy either).
